Problems solved by technology

[0003] In the related art, the existing DNS performance testing tool has the following defects: (1) The performance of the testing tool itself is insufficient and cannot meet the testing requirements of a high-performance DNS server
The performance of high-performance DNS servers is mostly at the level of several million QPS, or even tens of millions of QPS, so traditional performance testing tools cannot test the actual performance of high-performance DNS servers
(2) Does not support sending random domain name requests
(3) Does not support capture and playback

Embodiment Construction

[0024] Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, the same numerals in different drawings refer to the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all implementations consistent with this application. Rather, they are merely examples of systems consistent with aspects of the present application as recited in the appended claims.

Abstract

The invention relates to a DPDK-based DNS package sending system, which is based on a DPDK development suite and comprises: an interaction thread and at least one pair of read-write threads, and one pair of read-write threads corresponds to one network card; wherein the pair of read-write threads comprises a packet sending thread and a packet receiving thread; the main thread is used for configuring DNS message parameters during packet sending by using a user-defined command line command; and the read-write thread directly sends and receives a DNS data packet to and from a network card according to the DNS message parameters configured by the main thread, and counts the number of messages. According to the scheme, the network card is directly taken over, the packet is received and sent by bypassing the kernel, and the requirement of high-performance testing is met; and the DNS message parameters during packet sending are configured in a command line interaction mode, and parameter configuration in multiple forms is supported; therefore, compared with a traditional DNS packet sending tool, the system has the advantages that the performance is greatly improved and can reach more than one million at present, that is, more than one million of requests can be sent per second.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of DNS performance testing, in particular to a DPDK-based DNS packet sending system. Background technique [0002] DNS (Domain Name System) is a service of the Internet. As a distributed database that maps domain names and IP addresses to each other, it can make it easier for people to access the Internet. The DNS server is mainly used to receive and process the domain name query request sent by the client, and return the corresponding IP address. The main indicator of DNS server performance is QPS (Query Per Second), which is the number of requests answered per second. The existing DNS request packet sending tools are relatively well-known, such as dnsperf and queryperf, which are often used for DNS function and performance testing. [0003] In related technologies, the existing DNS performance testing tools have the following defects: (1) The performance of the testing tool itself is insufficien...
