Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to an aromatic heterocyclic high water-absorbent resin and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of polymer synthesis. Background Art
[0002] Super absorbent resin (SAP) is a kind of polymer material containing a large number of hydrophilic groups and a cross-linked network structure. It can absorb water dozens to thousands times its own weight, and is not easy to lose water even when squeezed, and has excellent water retention performance. According to the source of raw materials, super absorbent resins can be divided into starch, cellulose and synthetic polymers. Synthetic polymers can be divided into polyacrylates and polyvinyl alcohols.
[0003] Starch and cellulose super absorbent resins lose their water absorption and water retention capacity due to their susceptibility to microbial decomposition, and their long-term stability is poor. Although polyacrylic acid salts and polyvinyl alcohol super absorbent resins are not affected by microbial decomposition, they are easily affected by heat and oxygen during repeated water absorption and water loss, turning yellow or causing a decrease in water absorption performance, affecting repeated use. A large number of patents report that reducing the residual monomer acrylic acid in polyacrylic acid salt super absorbent resins can improve whiteness and yellowing resistance. For example: Chinese patent CN117050228A uses the method of adding initiators in batches to increase the conversion rate of acrylic acid, thereby reducing its residue in the product. Chinese patent CN113698526A uses the addition of sulfonic acid or sulfinic acid free radical slow-release agents to regulate the polymerization rate, stabilize the reaction temperature, improve the initiation efficiency of the initiator, and reduce the residual amount of acrylic acid to about 100ppm. In addition, Chinese patent CN112724461A reports that adding a sulfinic acid component with a chelating structure can also improve the yellowing resistance of polyacrylic acid salt super absorbent resins. However, since the methyl group structure of acrylic acid is easily attacked and destroyed by free radicals at high temperatures, and monomer residue cannot be completely avoided, it is difficult to further improve the yellowing resistance of polyacrylate-based superabsorbent resins only by reducing acrylic acid residues and delaying the destruction of methyl groups by free radicals.
[0004] Therefore, it is necessary to develop a highly stable aromatic heterocyclic super absorbent resin. Summary of the invention
