Novel antistatic ABS / CNTs composite material and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention provides a novel antistatic ABS / CNTs composite material and a preparation method thereof. And carrying out reactive extrusion on the modified CNTs with hydroxyl and a compatilizer with an anhydride group or an epoxy group to prepare the master batch containing the polymer grafted carbon nanotubes. And carrying out melt blending on the master batch and ABS to obtain the ABS / CNTs composite material. According to the invention, the dispersibility of CNTs in an ABS matrix is improved, formation of a conductive network is facilitated, and a permanent antistatic material is obtained. The volume resistivity of the ABS / CNTs composite material is reduced to 107 omega.cm or even lower, and the ABS / CNTs composite material has the advantages of excellent mechanical properties, good processability and the like. The method has a good application prospect. The used raw materials have no toxic or side effect, the operation is safe, the process is simple and feasible, and the permanent antistatic composite material obtained by the invention has excellent comprehensive performance.
