Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to the field of tobacco sheet performance experiments, in particular to a tobacco sheet making device and an application method thereof. Background Art
[0002] Cellulose nanocrystals have high strength, good renewability, rich hydroxyl content, and good biocompatibility; nanocarbon is prepared from electrolytic graphite, has good dispersibility, and has the good thermal conductivity of graphite materials. The composite material prepared with cellulose nanocrystals can combine the advantages of both. By utilizing these characteristics of the composite material, it can be evenly and stably distributed in the tobacco sheet, maintaining the physical strength of the tobacco sheet while enhancing the thermal conductivity of the tobacco sheet, thereby improving the performance of the tobacco sheet.
[0003] At present, the fibers used in tobacco sheets are plant fibers such as wood pulp fibers, cotton and linen fibers and tobacco fibers. Plant fibers have poor dispersibility and are prone to flocculation when added (fiberized) in high amounts, resulting in uneven fiber distribution in the tobacco sheets. The strength and toughness of the fibers are relatively low, and problems such as breakage and fragmentation are prone to occur during processing, affecting the processing and molding performance of the tobacco sheets. In terms of the loading performance of inclusions, most sheet atomizers and coating materials have low liquid holding capacity, resulting in insufficient smoke and aroma, while when the liquid holding capacity is high, problems such as seepage, adhesion, and fragmentation are prone to occur.
[0004] Therefore, it is necessary to establish an experiment, using wood pulp cellulose as a control, and add different proportions of thermally conductive cellulose functionalized composite materials alone, mixed or mixed with other plant celluloses to the raw materials of tobacco sheets, adjust the proportions of various components such as tobacco powder, moisture and adhesives, optimize the sheet base formula, and explore suitable processing and molding technology; and quantitatively analyze indicators such as the bulk, softness, elongation, and thermal conductivity of the sheet base, so as to provide a theoretical reference for improving the performance of heated tobacco sheets.
[0005] During the experiment, a large number of tobacco flakes of different specifications need to be used because of the need to study the optimal amount of ingredients. Traditional industrial tobacco flake preparation equipment is mainly used to mass-produce tobacco flakes of a single specification. After production, they need to be manually cut into the size required for the experiment, which is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also easily leads to inconsistent sizes and deviations in experimental results. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0040] Embodiment 1: like Figure 1-12 A tobacco sheet making device is disclosed, comprising a U-shaped base groove plate 3, a heating plate 6 is arranged inside the U-shaped base groove plate 3, a mold plate 5 is arranged above the heating plate 6 inside the U-shaped base groove plate 3, a first pressing roller 2 which can roll along the length direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 is arranged above the mold plate 5, and a scraper 4 is arranged on the rear side of the first pressing roller 2.
[0041] In a preferred solution, a feeding device 1 is provided above the first pressing roller 2 , and the feeding device 1 includes a collecting hopper 101 and a flat discharge nozzle 104 , and the bottom of the flat discharge nozzle 104 is aligned with the surface of the first pressing roller 2 .
[0042] After the slurry is mixed, it is put into the collecting hopper 101, and then evenly spread on the wheel surface of the first pressing roller 2 below from the flat discharge nozzle 104. As the first pressing roller 2 rolls, it is pressed on the surface of the mold plate 5. The lower end of the scraper 4 behind the first pressing roller 2 scrapes off excess slurry to control the slurry layer height. The heating plate 6 can be an electric heating plate to continuously heat the thinner metal mold plate 5. The slurry is heated to remove a large amount of moisture, and finally tobacco flakes are formed.
[0043] In the preferred scheme, linear guide rails 14 are provided on both outer sides of the U-shaped base groove plate 3, and each linear guide rail 14 is provided with a first movable frame 12 and a second movable frame 13 which are slidably connected. The upper ends of the first movable frame 12 and the second movable frame 13 are provided with screw parts. There are also first cross frame 10 and second cross frame 11 spanning the U-shaped base groove plate 3, the first pressure roller 2 is arranged in the middle of the second cross frame 11, the scraper 4 is arranged in the middle of the first cross frame 10, the two ends of the first cross frame 10 are respectively slidably connected with the screw parts of each first movable frame 12, and the two ends of the second cross frame 11 are respectively slidably connected with the screw parts of the second movable frame 13, and the height of the first cross frame 10 and the second cross frame 11 are adjustable.
[0044] An L-shaped bracket is provided on the second movable frame 13, and the feeding device 1 is installed on the L-shaped bracket through another connecting bracket.
[0045] In a preferred embodiment, the screw parts of the first movable frame 12 and the second movable frame 13 are respectively provided with a first spring 16 and at least two threaded adjusting screw sleeves 15, the ends of the first cross frame 10 and the second cross frame 11 are located between the two adjusting screw sleeves 15, the first spring 16 is located at the upper ends of the first cross frame 10 and the second cross frame 11, and the upper end of the first spring 16 abuts against the adjusting screw sleeve 15.
[0046] The adjusting screw sleeve 15 at the bottom mainly limits the lowest position of the first horizontal frame 10 or the second horizontal frame 11, and adjusts the distance between the lower end of the scraper 4 and the bottom end of the first pressure roller 2 and the surface of the mold plate 5. The height of the scraper 4 and the first pressure roller 2 is independently adjusted. The thread structure can convert the displacement in the up and down direction into the rotation direction, which plays a role in precise adjustment.
[0047] The upper adjusting screw sleeve 15 can adjust the compression amount of the first spring 16 to control the pressure on the slurry. If there is foreign matter on the surface of the mold plate 5, after the first pressure roller 2 and the scraper 4 come into contact, the first spring 16 is compressed and allows the first pressure roller 2 and the scraper 4 to move up and over the obstacle.
[0048] In the preferred embodiment, the scraper 4 is a curved structure, and a gap portion 401 is provided between the scraper 4 and the outer wall of the first pressure roller 2. An ear seat 402 is provided on the side of the gap portion 401 away from the first pressure roller 2. The ear seat 402 is rotatably connected to the first cross frame 10, and a locking screw 403 is provided on the ear seat 402, and one end of the locking screw 403 rests on the first cross frame 10.
[0049] The distance between the first roller 2 and the mold plate 5 is slightly larger than the distance between the lower end of the scraper 4 and the mold plate 5. The scraper 4 scrapes off excess slurry and, as the first roller 2 rotates, brings the slurry back to the top of the first roller 2 through the gap 401, completing the circulation of excess slurry.
[0050] Since the heights of the first pressure roller 2 and the scraper 4 are adjusted independently and have no linkage relationship, after the height of the first pressure roller 2 or the scraper 4 is changed, the gap sizes at the lower and upper ends of the gap portion 401 may be different. At this time, the scraper 4 needs to be rotated to ensure that the first gap of the gap portion 401 is uniform to avoid blockage or the slurry is difficult to be brought back by the first pressure roller 2 due to excessive gap.
[0051] An adjusting cross frame 17 is connected between the first movable frame 12 and the second movable frame 13 . The adjusting cross frame 17 is provided with a strip-shaped through groove and is connected to the first movable frame 12 and the second movable frame 13 by screws. The spacing between the first movable frame 12 and the second movable frame 13 can be adjusted to adjust the width of the gap portion 401 .
[0052] In the preferred embodiment, a plurality of guide grooves 301 are provided on the U-shaped base groove plate 3, a second gear 9 is provided at one end of the first pressure roller 2, a second rack 8 meshing with the second gear 9 is provided below the second rack 8, a plurality of guide rods 801 are provided at the lower end of the second rack 8, each guide rod 801 is inserted into each guide groove 301 and slidably connected, a second spring 802 is sleeved on the guide rod 801, and the two ends of each second spring 802 respectively abut against the second rack 8 and the U-shaped base groove plate 3.
[0053] A second rack 8 that can float up and down is installed on the upper edge of the U-shaped structure of the U-shaped base groove plate 3. Each second spring 802 can provide sufficient elastic force to make the second rack 8 mesh with the second gear 9 and not disengage. When the second cross frame 11 is adjusted up and down, the second rack 8 will follow and move up and down.
[0054] In a preferred solution, a driving motor 7 is provided on one side of the second movable frame 13 , a first gear 702 is provided on the shaft end of the driving motor 7 , a first rack 701 connected to the U-shaped base groove plate 3 is provided on one side, and the first gear 702 meshes with the first rack 701 .
[0055] The driving motor 7 is connected to the L-shaped bracket of the second moving frame 13 through the transverse connecting plate, and the first rack 701 is connected to the side wall of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 through the transverse connecting frame, so the driving motor 7 can drive the second moving frame 13 to move. Since the adjustment horizontal frame 17 is connected between the second moving frame 13 and the first moving frame 12, the first moving frame 12 moves synchronously with the second moving frame 13. At this time, since the second gear 9 is meshed with the second rack 8, the first pressing roller 2 moves forward while rotating and rolling, and the slurry is applied to the surface of the mold plate 5.
[0056] In the preferred embodiment, a measuring cylinder 102 is further provided between the collecting hopper 101 and the flat discharge nozzle 104, and the measuring cylinder 102 connects the collecting hopper 101 and the flat discharge nozzle 104. A plurality of first partitions 105 arranged in parallel and spaced apart are provided in the measuring cylinder 102, and the first partitions 105 divide the measuring cylinder 102 into a plurality of first compartments 106 with equal spacing, and the connecting direction of adjacent first compartments 106 is the length direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3. A first slot is further provided in the measuring cylinder 102, and a first gate piece 107 movable along the length direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 is provided in the first slot, and the first gate piece 107 is used to block the top of the first compartment 106. A first linear drive cylinder 108 is further provided on the outer side wall of the measuring cylinder 102, and the first linear drive cylinder 108 drives the first gate piece 107 to move. A rotatable second pressure roller 201 is provided on one side of the first pressure roller 2, and a passing gap is provided between the second pressure roller 201 and the first pressure roller 2.
[0057] The length direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 is the X direction, the width direction is the Y direction, and the height direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 is the Z direction.
[0058] The slurry flows downward from the collecting hopper 101 through each first compartment 106 to be evenly dispersed in equal amounts, and finally flows out from the flat discharge nozzle 104 , and is further evenly pressed by the second pressing roller 201 .
[0059] When the first gate 107 is closed, more and more first compartments 106 are gradually blocked, and the slurry passing cross section is reduced. When the first gate 107 is opened, more and more first compartments 106 are exposed, and the slurry passing cross section is increased. Since the first compartments 106 are equidistant, the moving distance of the first gate 107 is proportional to the slurry passing cross section. The first linear drive cylinder 108 can be a servo electric cylinder, which can record the displacement value, so the opening and closing value of the first gate 107 can be controlled to achieve the effect of controlling the slurry flow.
[0060] In the preferred embodiment, a positioning cylinder 103 is provided below the adjusting cylinder 102, and a plurality of second partitions 109 arranged in parallel and spaced apart are provided in the positioning cylinder 103 and the flat discharge nozzle 104, the second partitions 109 divide the positioning cylinder 103 into a plurality of second compartments 110 with equal spacing, the connecting direction of adjacent second compartments 110 is the width direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3, the positioning cylinder 103 is provided with a second slot which passes through horizontally, a second gate piece 111 and a third gate piece 113 which can be moved along the width direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3 are provided in the second slot, the second gate piece 111 and the third gate piece 113 are used to close the top of the second compartment 110, a second linear drive cylinder 112 and a third linear drive cylinder 114 are further provided on the outside of the positioning cylinder 103, the second linear drive cylinder 112 drives the second gate piece 111 to move horizontally, and the third linear drive cylinder 114 drives the third gate piece 113 to move horizontally, and the mold plate 5 is provided with a plurality of columns of different groove portions 501 along the width direction, and the number of each column of groove portions 501 is one or more.
[0061] The second compartment 110 is located below the first compartment 106. The second compartment 110 and the first compartment 106 are in a cross shape and overlap in a grid state when viewed from the vertical projection direction. Therefore, after the slurry flows through the first compartment 106, it is evenly dispersed for the first time and then flows into the second compartments 110 below, where it is dispersed again and finally flows evenly onto the first pressing roller 2.
[0062] In addition to making the slurry uniform and adjusting the flow rate, since the moving direction of the second gate piece 111 and the third gate piece 113 is the width direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3, the groove portions 501 of different shapes are also arranged in the width direction of the U-shaped base groove plate 3, i.e., the Y direction. Therefore, by controlling the opening and closing amount of the second gate piece 111 and the third gate piece 113, only a certain shape of tobacco sheet can be formed, and the excess slurry is returned to the top of the first pressing roller 2 through the gap portion 401 and recycled.
[0063] Embodiment 2: 1 Experimental methods and conditions 1.1 Preparation of tobacco sheets In this experiment, the tobacco flakes were prepared by thick pulp method. Fig.13 Weigh the tobacco sheet ingredients. First mix the tobacco powder, nanocarbon-cellulose nanocrystal composite material (the material is prepared according to Example 2 in the 202410689820X document), and CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) evenly, then add wood pulp fiber, glycerol, propylene glycol, and water into the beaker, beat it with a blender, and then add the mixed tobacco powder ingredients, and continue to mix evenly. Set the coating test machine to a baking temperature of 80°C and a casting thickness of 1 mm, spread the prepared thick slurry evenly on the surface of its workbench, and peel off the tobacco sheet after the thick slurry is baked, dried and formed. This experiment sets up a blank group and an experimental group, and at least three sheets are made in each group.
[0064] 1.2 Determination of tobacco flakes Place the tobacco sheet samples in a constant temperature and humidity chamber at a temperature of (22±1)℃ and a relative humidity of 60%±2% (the range of change should be expressed in these two ways) to equilibrate the moisture for 48 hours, and perform the following index tests.
[0065] The thickness measurement method is in accordance with (GB / T 451.3-2002 "Determination of thickness of paper and paperboard").
[0066] The quantitative determination method is in accordance with (GB / T 451.2 Determination of the quantitative determination of paper and paperboard). Cut a thin sample of 100 cm 2 That is, a 10 cm × 10 cm sample with an accuracy of 0.1 mm is weighed. Three samples are cut from each group, and their areas are measured and calculated. The standard deviation of each area is less than 0.5% of the average area. G = m / S, take the average value, accurate to 0.001 g / m 2 , m is the total mass of each group, and S is the total area of each group.
[0067] The tensile strength and elongation are determined in accordance with GB / T 453-2002 "Determination of tensile strength of paper and paperboard (constant speed loading method)". Three reconstituted tobacco leaf samples are cut from each group in the longitudinal and transverse directions, with a sample size of 150 mm*15 mm, as the tensile strength and elongation samples. The sample is clamped with a spacing of 100 mm, and the sample is placed parallel to the upper and lower clamps, with a descending speed of 10 mm / min.
[0068] P=G / F, P is the tensile strength (N / cm 2 ), G is the tensile strength at break, F is the cross-sectional area cm 2 , S=ΔL / L, S is the elongation (%), ΔL is the elongation when the specimen breaks, and L is the distance between the specimen clamps before force is applied.
[0069] The softness test method is in accordance with (GB / T 8942-2016 "Determination of paper softness"). Cut a sample with a size of 100 * 100 mm according to the actual number of layers of the product (finished product layer). Place the sample in the center of the instrument test bench and make it as symmetrical as possible to the slit. The average value of the longitudinal and transverse test results is expressed in millinewton (mN). The test results are shown in the attached Fig.14 Conversion method: longitudinal softness = measured longitudinal softness × 100 mm ÷ transverse dimension of sample, transverse softness = measured transverse softness × 100 mm ÷ longitudinal dimension of sample.
[0070] Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR): The tobacco slices were cut into 1.5 cm × 1.5 cm square slices. The samples were analyzed using a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer with a detection condition of 4000-400 cm -1 Measure transmittance.
[0071] In-plane thermal conductivity determination: The tobacco slices were cut into circular slices with a diameter of about 25.0 mm, placed on a test stand, and then the thermal diffusion coefficient was tested using a laser thermal conductivity meter.
[0072] 2 Results 2.1 Study on the swelling properties of the composite 2.2 Effect of compound addition on tobacco sheet thickness, bulk and basis weight Thickness is an important indicator for tobacco sheet quality control and has a significant impact on the air permeability, absorbency and final cigarette product quality of tobacco sheets. Increasing the thickness of tobacco sheets can not only improve the absorbency of the sheets to the coating liquid, the smoking performance and filling value of cigarettes, but also help to achieve lightweight tobacco sheets, reduce the amount of tobacco, and save production costs. Fig.14 It can be seen that with the increase of the compound addition amount, the thickness of the tobacco flakes tends to increase. When the compound addition ratio is 1%, the thickness reaches the maximum, and when the addition amount increases to 2%, the thickness remains basically unchanged. In general, the thickness change is not obvious, indicating that the tobacco flakes prepared by the thick pulp method are relatively uniform. The bulk thickness of the tobacco flakes decreases first and then increases as the compound addition amount increases. When the addition amount is 0.1%, the bulk thickness is the smallest, which is 5.9% lower than when no compound is added. When the compound ratio is greater than 0.1%, the decreasing trend of the bulk thickness decreases. The change trend of the quantitative value of the flakes is basically consistent with the bulk thickness, and the quantitative value is the smallest at 0.1%. When a certain amount of plant fiber is added, the bulk thickness of the tobacco flakes tends to decrease. When the plant fiber ratio is 20%, the bulk thickness of the tobacco flakes decreases by 3.9% compared with when no plant fiber is added, and the decrease is the largest. Therefore, adding a certain amount of cellulose nanocrystal composites prepared from waste tobacco leaves to replace wood pulp fibers can not only meet the requirements of substrate thickness and bulk thickness, but also help to reduce the wood odor of tobacco flakes and improve the smoking quality.
[0073] 2.3 Determination of tensile strength and elongation Tensile strength is one of the most important physical indicators for evaluating tobacco sheets, and has a significant impact on the quality of tobacco sheets, filling performance and final cigarette product quality. Improving the tensile strength of tobacco sheets can not only improve the physical properties of the sheets, the smoking performance and filling value of cigarettes, but also help reduce crushing and save production costs. Fig.15It can be seen that as the amount of compound added increases, the tensile strength increases first and then decreases. When the amount of compound added is 0.1%, the tensile strength is the largest. Compared with the blank group, the tensile strength increases by 14.5%, but the elongation is the lowest. When the content of the compound increases from 0.02% to 0.1%, the tensile strength of the tobacco sheet with reduced wood pulp fiber content is enhanced. Continue to add the compound to the tobacco sheet, when the addition amount reaches 0.5%, the tensile strength of the tobacco sheet decreases, which shows that when the content of the compound is 0.1%, the tensile strength of the tobacco sheet is best enhanced. Cellulose nanocrystals have a significant effect on improving the tensile strength of the sheet, and after being compounded with nanocarbon, it will not affect its performance in the sheet: among the three types of nanocellulose, cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), carboxyl nanofibrillar cellulose (carboxyl NFC), and unmodified nanofibrillar cellulose (unmodified NFC), CNC has the best effect on improving the tensile strength of tobacco sheets. This shows that the use of CNC is more conducive to uniform dispersion in the coating liquid, so that it can better penetrate into the pores between fibers during the coating process, enhance the hydrogen bonding between fibers, and ultimately improve the tensile strength of tobacco sheets. This study found that the cellulose nanocrystal content cannot be too high, otherwise it will affect the tensile strength of the sheet. Similar to the research results of Luo Boya et al., when the amount of tobacco nanofiber (TCNF) added is certain, the tensile strength of tobacco sheets is enhanced. When the amount of cationic TCNF added increases from 0.03wt% to 0.5wt%, the tensile strength of tobacco sheets is enhanced. Continue to add cationic TCNF to the tobacco sheet. When the addition amount reaches 1wt%, the tensile strength of the tobacco sheet decreases. It can be concluded that adding 0.5wt% of cationic TCNF has the best enhancement effect.
[0074] 2.4 Determination of softness Excellent softness has a great influence on the subsequent slicing and silk making processes of tobacco sheets. The smaller the softness value, the better the softness. Fig.16 It can be seen that when the compound content is 0.1%, the longitudinal softness value is the smallest, the transverse softness value is small, and the softness of the tobacco sheet is greatly improved. When the compound content is 2%, the longitudinal and transverse softness values are both the largest, and the softness of the tobacco sheet is poor. It can also be found that the longitudinal softness in the blank group is lower than the transverse softness, while in the five experimental groups, the longitudinal softness is higher than the transverse softness.
[0075] 2.5 Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) The IT-IR image of tobacco sheet after adding composite material is shown in the attached figure. Fig.17 As shown in the figure, it can be seen that the tobacco flakes are -1 There are characteristic absorption peaks near 3600~3000cm -1 It is the -OH stretching vibration region. At 2900cm-1 There are characteristic absorption peaks near 3000-2800cm -1 The CH stretching vibration peak of -CH2; the bending vibration peak of -OH usually appears at 1650~1550cm -1 As can be seen from the figure, the tobacco flakes are at 1600cm -1 There is a characteristic peak near 1400, 1316, 1028, 921, 815, 775 cm -1 The absorption peak that appears near is the characteristic absorption peak of cellulose Ⅰβ. Compared with the blank sample, the addition of the composite material has no obvious effect on the FT-IR of the tobacco flakes. In the study, it was found that the composite of nanocarbon and cellulose nanocrystals does not affect the internal structure of the original flakes. Therefore, the addition of nanocarbon does not affect the inherent substances such as the aroma of the tobacco flakes. This is consistent with the results of the literature.
[0076] 2.6 In-plane thermal conductivity analysis By the attached Fig.18 It can be seen that after adding the composite of nanocarbon and cellulose nanocrystals, the thermal diffusion coefficient of tobacco sheets has been significantly improved. As the content of the composite increases, the thermal diffusion coefficient of tobacco sheets also increases. When the composite content is 0.5%, the thermal diffusion coefficient increases by 33% compared with the blank sample. The main component of tobacco sheets is plant fiber powder, which is a low thermal conductivity material. After adding nanocarbon, nanocarbon forms a heat conduction path in the tobacco sheets. As the amount of nanocarbon increases, more heat conduction paths will be formed in the direction of heat flow, enhancing the thermal diffusion performance of tobacco sheets.
