Description

Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to an opening / closing and vaporizing mechanism for a bottle, for example of perfume.

[0002] It also concerns a bottle, notably used in perfumery, equipped with such an opening / closing and vaporization mechanism. State of the art

[0003] We know of containers that include a fluid and a pump for vaporizing the fluid contained in the container.

[0004] European patent EP 1 829 791 describes such a container comprising a body defining an internal volume intended to receive the fluid and surmounted by a neck having an orifice through which a vaporization pump is introduced.

[0005] A lid is attached to the neck around the pump by snapping it onto the opening, while the pump is equipped with a push button that moves between a high and a low vaporization position along the lid. The push button has protrusions that slide in grooves on the inner face of the lid when the push button is moved between its high and low positions.

[0006] A cover is movable around the push button, moving between a position where it partially obscures the push button and a position where it provides access to the push button. The cover is equipped with internal ribs that slide in grooves formed on its outer face when the cover is moved between its position where it partially obscures the push button and its position where it provides access to the push button.

[0007] An external sleeve is attached to the lid at the neck of the container. This external sleeve rotates freely relative to the container, lid, cap, and pump. The external sleeve has an inner surface with curved grooves that extend along its length. The cap is further equipped with drive pins that fit into the curved grooves of the external sleeve.

[0008] When the outer sleeve is rotated, it moves the cover from its position where it partially obscures the push button to its position where it provides access to the push button, or vice versa. Thus, by rotating the outer sleeve, it is possible to activate or deactivate the push button to dispense or deactivate the fluid.

[0009] In the position of the hood where it partially obscures the push button, a stop formed in projection in the hood comes into contact with the push button and an elastic tab formed in projection of the hood fits into a groove made at an upper end of the outer sleeve. Description of the invention

[0010] The invention aims to provide an opening / closing and vaporizing mechanism for a bottle, for example of perfume, which is particularly simple and convenient to use.

[0011] The invention thus relates, in a first aspect, to an opening / closing and vaporization mechanism for a bottle, for example of perfume.

[0012] The opening / closing and vaporization mechanism includes a vaporization pump configured to be partially inserted into the bottle, a push button attached to the vaporization pump and configured to actuate it, a ring configured to be attached to the bottle by a rotational movement of the ring relative to the bottle, with the push button which is mounted movable in translation above and relative to the ring, and a sleeve mechanically attached to the ring and mounted movable in translation around and relative to the ring and the push button, between a first position, called high, in which the push button is inaccessible and a second position, called low, in which the push button is accessible and can be actuated by a user. One of the sleeve and the ring is provided with at least one guide groove, at least one retaining notch provided in the groove and at least one stop notch provided in the groove and opposite the at least one retaining notch, while the other of the ring and the sleeve is provided with at least one additional stop and guide notch provided in projection and opposite the at least one groove. The opening / closing and vaporizing mechanism is configured so that, in the first position, called the high position of the sheath, at least one additional stop and guide notch is sandwiched between at least one stop notch and at least one retaining notch so that the sheath is held in the high position with the push button inaccessible, while in the second position, called the low position, at least one additional stop and guide notch is at a distance from at least one stop notch by having been forced against at least one retaining notch so that the push button is accessible.

[0013] Thanks to the arrangement of the sheath and the ring, the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism according to the invention provides a particularly simple and convenient solution for allowing or not, and therefore securing, the actuation of the push button.

[0014] Indeed, by simply translating the sleeve around and relative to the ring, the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism goes from a so-called storage configuration in which the push button is inaccessible to a so-called vaporization configuration in which the push button is accessible.

[0015] In addition, thanks to a notch and groove system as described above, the storage and vaporization configurations of the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism are configurations in which the sheath is in stable high and low positions.

[0016] Furthermore, in the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism according to the invention, the sleeve and the ring are configured so that the rotational actuation of the sleeve allows, by the cooperation of at least one additional stop and guide notch with longitudinal edges of at least one guide groove, the ring to be rotated in order to be removed from the bottle.

[0017] In other words, thanks to the arrangement of the sleeve and the ring, the opening / closing and vaporizing mechanism performs several functions here, including an accessibility function for the push button and a torque transmission function for dismantling the mechanism for example for filling the bottle.

[0018] Particularly simple, convenient and economical preferred features of the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism according to the invention are presented below.

[0019] The ring is at least partially threaded internally and secured by screwing it onto the bottle.

[0020] The ring has an overall cylindrical shape, and is provided with a first cylindrical lateral wall defining a first external face and a first internal face which delimits, with an upper flange of the ring, a first internal space open at a first lower end.

[0021] At least one additional stop and guide notch is provided on the first cylindrical lateral wall projecting from the outer face of the ring.

[0022] At least one additional stop and guide notch is located on the upper flange side, at a distance from the first lower end of the ring.

[0023] The ring is configured to receive at least partially a neck of the bottle in its first internal space.

[0024] The vaporization pump comprises a pump body at least partially received in the first internal space of the ring, and a vaporization conduit extending from the pump body and opening through an orifice provided in the upper flange of the ring.

[0025] The push button has a second cylindrical wall, a support wall above the second cylindrical wall and a vaporization well connected at one end to the vaporization duct and opening at a second end, opposite the first end, through the second cylindrical wall.

[0026] The ring has a shoulder to which the push button is attached by its second cylindrical wall.

[0027] The sheath has an overall cylindrical shape, and is provided with a third cylindrical side wall and a top opening through which the push button emerges or not depending on the position of the sheath.

[0028] In the first position of the sheath, the push button is located below the upper opening of the sheath and is thus inaccessible; whereas in the second position of the sheath, the push button emerges through the upper opening of the sheath and is thus accessible for operation by the user.

[0029] The third cylindrical lateral wall of the sheath defines a third external face and a third internal face which delimits a third internal space open at a third lower end.

[0030] At least one groove is provided in the third internal face of the sheath, and at least one retaining notch and at least one stop notch are provided in the third internal face of the sheath, at least partially protruding into at least one groove.

[0031] At least one groove extends globally from the third lower end of the sheath to near an upper edge of the sheath, at the level of its upper opening.

[0032] At least one retaining notch and at least one stop notch are located on the side of the third lower end of the sheath, away from its upper opening.

[0033] The invention also relates, in a second aspect, to a bottle, particularly used in perfumery, comprising a container defining a volume and surmounted by a neck, as well as an opening / closing and vaporization mechanism as described above and secured by a rotational movement on the neck of the container.

[0034] The vaporizer pump is partially inserted into the neck and opens at one end into the volume of the container.

[0035] The push button is attached to a second end of the vaporization pump, opposite its first end.

[0036] The ring is internally threaded and screwed onto an external face of the neck. Brief description of the figures

[0037] We will now continue the exposition of the invention by describing examples of implementation, given below by way of illustration and not limitation, with reference to the attached drawings. There figure 12 shows a detail of the Figure 10 . Detailed description

[0038] THE figures 1 and 2 illustrate a bottle 1, notably used in perfumery, comprising a container 2, or receptacle, defining a volume for receiving a fluid such as perfume.

[0039] Bottle 1 here has, on an upper part 3, an ornamental plate 4.

[0040] Container 2 is topped with a neck (visible on the Figures 5 , 6 , 9 And 10 ) extending outwards from the upper part 3.

[0041] Bottle 1 has an opening / closing and spraying mechanism 5 mounted on the neck of container 2.

[0042] The opening / closing and vaporizing mechanism 5 is provided in particular with a ring 6 configured to be secured on the bottle 1 by a rotational movement of the ring 6 relative to the bottle 1, a sleeve 7 mechanically secured to the ring 6 and mounted movably in translation around and relative to the ring 6, and a push button which is mounted movably in translation above and relative to the ring 6.

[0043] The sleeve 7 is movable between a first position, called the high position, in which the push button 8 is inaccessible, as on the figures 1 and 2 , and a second position, called low, in which the push button 8 is accessible and can be operated by a user for the vaporization of the perfume (see below in more detail).

[0044] THE figures 3 And 4show in exploded perspective the opening / closing and vaporization mechanism 5, referred to below as the mechanism for the sake of brevity.

[0045] In addition to the ring 6, the sleeve 7 and the push button 8, the mechanism 5 includes a vaporizing pump 9 configured to be partially inserted into the bottle 1, with the push button 8 which is subject to the vaporizing pump 9 and which is configured to actuate it by pressure from the user.

[0046] In detail, ring 6 has an overall cylindrical shape.

[0047] The ring 6 is provided with a first cylindrical lateral wall 11 defining a first external face 12 and a first internal face 13.

[0048] The first internal face 13 delimits, with an upper flange 14 of the ring 6, a first internal space 15 open at a first lower end 16 of the ring 6.

[0049] The ring 6 also has, at the junction between the upper flange 14 and the first cylindrical side wall 11, a portion 17 forming here an overthickness of the first cylindrical side wall 11.

[0050] The mechanism 5 is further provided here with a plurality of additional stop and guide notches 18.

[0051] These additional stop and guide notches 18 are here arranged in a regularly distributed manner around the cylindrical circumference of the portion 17 of the ring 6, projecting from the external face 12 of the ring 6.

[0052] These additional stop and guide notches 18 are therefore located here on the side of the upper flange 14, at a distance from the first lower end 16 of the ring 6.

[0053] The ring 6 is also provided with a shoulder 19 projecting from the upper flange 14 and which is pierced with a through orifice 46 which opens into the first internal space 15.

[0054] Note that ring 6 is configured to receive at least partially the neck of bottle 1 in its first internal space 15 (see details below).

[0055] In particular, the ring 6 is partially threaded internally, that is to say on its first internal face 13, so as to be secured by screwing onto an external face which is itself threaded of the neck of the bottle 1.

[0056] The vaporization pump 9 has a pump body 21 partially received in the first internal space 15 of the ring 6.

[0057] The vaporizing pump 9 is configured to be partially inserted into the neck of the bottle 1 and open into the volume of the container 2 at a first end 20 of a vaporizing conduit 22 of the vaporizing pump 9.

[0058] The vaporization conduit 22 extends from the pump body 21 and opens through the through orifice 46 provided in the upper flange 14 of the ring 6, by a second end 23 of the vaporization conduit 22 which is opposite to the first end 20.

[0059] The push button 8 has a second cylindrical wall 24 defining a second external face 29 and a second internal face 30, as well as a support wall 25 surmounting the second cylindrical wall 24 and delimiting, with the second internal face 30, a second internal space 31 open at a second lower end 32 of the push button 8.

[0060] The push button 8 is secured by its second cylindrical wall 24 to the shoulder 19 of the ring 6, which is at least partially received in the second internal space 31 of the push button 8.

[0061] The push button 8 also has a vaporization well 26 housed in the second internal space 31.

[0062] The vaporization well 26 is connected at a first end 27 to the vaporization conduit 22, by its second end 23, and opens at a second end (not shown), opposite to the first end 27 of the vaporization well 26, through the second cylindrical wall 24, thus allowing the vaporization of the perfume in the immediate environment of the bottle 1.

[0063] The sleeve 7 has an overall cylindrical shape, and is provided with a third cylindrical lateral wall 27 and a top opening 28 through which the push button 8 emerges or not depending on the position of the sleeve 7 relative to the ring 6 (see details below).

[0064] The third, cylindrical side wall 27 of the sheath 7 defines a third external face 33 and a third internal face 34 which delimits a third internal space 35 open at a third lower end 36 of the sheath 7.

[0065] The mechanism 5 is provided here with a plurality of guide grooves 37 which are made in the third internal face 34 of the sleeve 7.

[0066] The guide grooves 37 extend generally from the third lower end 36 of the sleeve 7 to near an upper edge 38 of the sleeve 7, at the level of its upper opening 28.

[0067] The guide grooves 37 are here generally regularly distributed in the third internal space 35 of the sleeve 7.

[0068] The mechanism 5 is further provided here with a plurality of retaining notches 39 and a plurality of stop notches 40 provided in the third internal face 34 of the sleeve 7, at least partially projecting into the respective guide grooves 37.

[0069] The retaining notches 39 and the stop notches 40 are located on the side of the third lower end 36 of the sleeve 7, at a distance from its upper opening 28.

[0070] The mechanism 5 is configured here so that the arrangement of the guide grooves 37, retaining notches 39 and stop notches 40 in the third internal space 35 of the sleeve 7 and the arrangement of the complementary stop and guide notches 18 projecting from the external face 12 of the ring 6 can cooperate.

[0071] In particular, the operation of mechanism 5 is explained with reference to figures 5 to 12 .

[0072] As indicated above, the sheath 7 is configured to be translated between the first position, called high, and the second position, called low.

[0073] In the first position of the sheath 7, visible in particular on the Figures 5 And 6 , the push button 8 is located under the upper opening 28 of the sheath 7 and is thus inaccessible.

[0074] The ring 6 is mounted by its first inner face 13 and by a rotational movement, here by screwing, on the outer face 51 of the neck 50 of the bottle 1.

[0075] The vaporizing pump 9, attached to the ring 6, thus has the first end 20 of its vaporizing conduit 22 in the receiving volume 55 defined by the container 2 of the bottle 1.

[0076] In this first position of the sheath 7, the ring 6 is only partially inserted into the third internal space 35 of the sheath 7 and the third lower end 36 of the sheath 7 is at a distance from the ornamental plate 4 mounted on the upper part 3 of the container 2 of the bottle 1.

[0077] In this first position of the sleeve 7, the additional stop and guide notches 18 of the ring 6 are axially sandwiched between the stop notches 40 and the retaining notches 39 of the sleeve 7 so that the latter is held in the raised position with the push button 8 inaccessible (see figure 11 ).

[0078] In addition, the complementary stop and guide notches 18 of the ring 6 are transversely interposed between longitudinal edges 60 of the respective guide grooves 37.

[0079] In this position, it is possible to drive the sleeve 7 relative to the ring 6 by a rotational movement so as to unscrew the latter from the neck 50 of the bottle 1, for example to proceed with filling the latter, thus forming a refillable bottle 1.

[0080] On the contrary, in the second position of the sheath 7, visible in particular on the figures 9 And 10 , the sleeve 7 has been translated to the ornamental plate 4 on the container 2 of the bottle 1, and the push button 8 emerges through the upper opening 28 of the sleeve 7 and is thus accessible for operation by the user.

[0081] In this second position of the sheath 7, the ring 6 is mostly inserted into the third internal space 35 of the sheath 7 and the third lower end 36 of the sheath 7 is in the immediate vicinity of, or even resting on, the ornamental plate 4 mounted on the upper part 3 of the container 2 of the bottle 1.

[0082] In this second position of the sleeve 7, the additional stop and guide notches 18 of the ring 6 have slid in guide grooves 37 and are at a distance from the retaining notches 39 and the stop notches 40 of the sleeve 7, after having been forced against the retaining notches 39, so that the push button 8 is accessible (see figure 12 ).

[0083] To do this, the additional stop and guide notches 18 of the ring 6 have here, on the one hand, a straight portion 63 intended to bear against an additional straight portion of the stop notches 40 of the sleeve 7, and on the other hand, a ramped portion 62 intended to cooperate with a substantially curved portion 65 of the retaining notches 39.

[0084] Such a configuration allows the additional stop and guide notches 18 to be moved on either side of the retaining notches 39 when they are stressed.

[0085] Thanks to the arrangement of the sleeve 7 and the ring 6, the mechanism 5 provides a particularly simple and convenient solution for enabling or disabling, and therefore securing, the actuation of the push button 8.

[0086] Indeed, by simply translating the sleeve 7 around and relative to the ring 6, the mechanism 5 goes from a so-called storage configuration in which the push button 8 is inaccessible to a so-called vaporization configuration in which the push button 8 is accessible.

[0087] In addition, thanks to the notched system 18, 39 and 40 and guide grooves 37 as described above, the storage and vaporization configurations of the mechanism 5 are configurations in which the sheath 7 is in stable high and low positions.

[0088] Furthermore, in the mechanism 5, the sleeve 7 and the ring 6 are configured so that the rotational actuation of the sleeve 7 allows, through the cooperation of the complementary stop and guide notches 18 with the longitudinal edges 60 of the guide grooves 37, the ring 6 to be rotated in order to be removed from the bottle 1.

[0089] In other words, thanks to the arrangement of the sleeve 7 and the ring 6, the mechanism 5 performs several functions here, including an accessibility function for the push button 8 and a torque transmission function for dismantling the mechanism 5 for example for filling the bottle 1.

[0090] Unillustrated variants are shown below.

[0091] The guide grooves, stop notches and retaining notches are formed on the ring rather than on the sleeve, and the additional stop and guide notches are formed on the sleeve rather than on the ring.

[0092] The mechanism may include more or fewer guide grooves, stop notches, retaining notches and additional stop and guide notches.

[0093] The stop notches, retaining notches and additional stop and guide notches may have different shapes from those described and illustrated.

[0094] The ring, the sheath and / or the push button may have shapes that differ from an overall cylindrical shape.

[0095] The bottle may be without an ornamental plaque.

[0096] It is generally recalled that the invention is not limited to the examples described and represented.
