Description

FIELD

[0001] The invention relates to the field of atomization, and more particularly, relates to an aerosol generating device.BACKGROUND

[0002] The heat-not-burning (HNB) aerosol generating device is an aerosol generating device which heat aerosol forming materials in a HNB manner to form inhalable aerosol. At present, a heater, such as a heating plate or heating pin, of aerosol generating devices is inserted into an aerosol-generating substrate to heat the aerosol-generating substrate, and the heating temperature is controlled to make components in the aerosol-generating substrate volatilize to generate aerosol to be inhaled by users.

[0003] When one aerosol-generating substrate is heated for a certain period of time, and the amount of aerosol generated by one aerosol-generating substrate reaches the upper limit, the aerosol-generating substrate needs to be pulled out of the aerosol generating device,or users have to stop smoking or continue to smoke after the aerosol-generating substrate is replaced by a new one. In this case, how to pull the aerosol-generating substrate out of the aerosol generating device easily and quickly without causing damage to the aerosol-generating substrate and leaving residues on the heater becomes an important issue. Aerosol-generating substrates are generally pulled out of existing HNB aerosol generating devices manually by users. However, due to the difference of forces applied by users, the pulling force varies drastically, and when the aerosol-generating substrate is pulled out by users, the aerosol-generating substrate may be scratched or residues may be left on the heater due to adhesion between contact parts of the aerosol-generating substrate and the heater, compromising the heating effect in subsequent use, for example, producing a smell of scorching.SUMMARY

The elastic assembly 23 is configured to change the length of the receiving space 220 when changing the extractor 2 and the body portion 11 from the connected state to the separated state.

[0032] Specifically, the receiving assembly 22 may comprise a fixed tube 221 fixedly connected to the top cover 21 and a movable tube 222 located below the fixed tube 221 and slidably arranged inside or outside the fixed tube 221, and the fixed tube 221 and the movable tube 22 cooperatively define the receiving space 220. The inner diameter of the outer tube 2211 may be greater than the outer diameter of the inner tube 2212.

[0035] In some embodiments, the movable tube 222 may comprise a first tube section 2222 and a second tube section 2224 located above the first tube section 2222 and connected to the first tube section 2222. The second tube section 2224 is slidably arranged between the outer tube 2211 and the inner tube 2212. The outer diameter of the second tube section 2224 is greater than the outer diameter of the first tube section 2222 and matches the inner diameter of the outer tube 2211, that is, an outer wall of the second tube section 2224 is in sliding and contact fit with an inner wall of the outer tube 2211. A step surface formed between the second tube section 2224 and the first tube section 2222 forms the second limit protrusion 2223. A mounting space allowing the elastic assembly 23 to be mounted therein is formed between the inner wall of the outer tube 2211 and the outer wall of the first tube section 2222. The elastic assembly 23 may be a spring and disposed between the inner wall of the outer tube 2211 and the outer wall of the first tube section 2222.

[0036] The inner diameter of the first tube section 2222 may be equal to or approximately equal to the inner diameter of the inner tube 2212, and the first tube section 2222 is arranged below the inner tube 2212 in an axial direction. The inner diameter of the second tube section 2224 matches the outer diameter of the inner tube 2212, that is, an outer wall of the inner tube 2212 may be in sliding and contact fit with an inner wall of the second tube section 2224. At least one limit and guide structure is arranged on the second tube section 2224 and the inner tube 2212 respectively and is used for guiding sliding of the movable tube 222 and limiting circumferential movement of the movable tube 222 relative to the inner tube 2212. In this embodiment, there are two limit and guide structures which are located on two opposite sides of the receiving space 220 respectively. The limit and guide structure may comprise a guide groove 2225 extending in the longitudinal direction and a guide protrusion 2214 in sliding fit with the guide groove 2225. Specifically, in this embodiment, the guide groove 2225 extends through the second tube section 2224 and extends from the top of the second tube section 2224 approximately to the bottom of the second tube section 2224, and the guide protrusion 2214 is formed by an outward extension of the outer wall of the inner tube 2212. There may be two guide protrusions 2214 which are in sliding and contact fit with two circumferential sides of the guide groove 2225 respectively. The axial length of the guide groove 2225 is greater than the maximum sliding distance of the movable tube 222 with respect to the fixed tube 221, such that the guide protrusion 2214 is prevented from disengaging from the guide groove 2225 when the top cover 21 is separated from the body portion 11. In other embodiments, there may be only one guide protrusion 2214, and two circumferential sides of the guide protrusion 2214 are in sliding and contact fit with two circumferential sides of the guide groove 2225 respectively.

[0037] A guide portion 181 is formed at an upper end of the body portion 11, a lower end of the top cover 21 is slidably sleeved on the guide portion 181, an inner wall of the top cover 21 is in sliding and contact fit with an inner wall of the guide portion 181, and the guide portion 181 can fulfill a guide effect in the process of changing the top cover 21 and the body portion 11 from the connected state to the separated state. When the top cover 21 and the guide portion 181 are in sliding and contact fit, the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is located at the first position where it is heated by the heater 14. When the top cover 21 and the guide portion 181 are not in sliding and contact fit, the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is located at the second position where at least part of the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is separated from the heating unit 14. An axial height H0 of the guide portion 181 is less than or equal to the maximum sliding distance of the movable tube 222 with respect to the fixed tube 221. In this embodiment, the axial height H0 of the guide portion 181 is equal to the maximum sliding distance of the movable tube 222 with respect to the fixed tube 221. The top of the guide portion 181 may extend upwards to form a hood 182, and the hood 182 covers the heating unit 14 and can protect the heating unit 14 against damage caused by horizontal movements of the top cover 21 when the top cover 21 and the body portion 11 are connected. The hood 182 is arranged between the top cover 21 and the outer tube 2211 and is spaced apart from the inner wall of the top cover 21 and the outer wall of the outer tube 2211. Specifically, the guide portion 181 and the hood 182 are both hollow cylinders and are connected, the cross-sectional dimension of an outer side of the guide portion 181 is greater than the cross-sectional dimension of an outer side of the hood 182 and corresponds to the cross-sectional dimension of an inner side of the top cover 21, that is, the cross-sectional dimension of the outer side of the hood 182 is less than the cross-sectional dimension of the inner side of the top cover 21. A support arm 183 may be formed in the guide portion 181, and an upper surface of the support arm 183 may support the receiving assembly 22 or be spaced apart from a lower surface of the receiving assembly 22. A lower surface of the support arm 183 may abut against the heating base 15 to fix the heating base 15.

[0038] As shown in FIG. 4, the top cover 21 and the body portion 11 are connected, and in this case, the top cover 21 is sleeved on outside of the guide portion 181 and is in contact with the guide portion 181, a matching height of the lower end of the top cover 21 and the guide portion 181 is equal to the axial height H0 of the guide portion 181, a lower surface of the top cover 21 abuts against an upper surface of the body portion 11, and the upper end of the heating unit 14 extends through the bottom wall 2221 of the movable tube 222 to be inserted into the receiving assembly 22. The elastic assembly 23 is in a semi-compressed state to allow the upper surface of the movable tube 222 to elastically abut against a lower surface of the inner tube 2212 to prevent the movable tube 222 from shaking. When the device is not used, that is, when the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is not inserted into the receiving assembly 22, the total length of the receiving assembly 22 is called as an initial length L0 (i.e., the sum of the length of the inner tube 2212 and the length of the movable tube 222).

[0039] When users want to inhale, the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is inserted into the receiving assembly 22, the heating unit 14 penetrates into the bottom of the aerosol-generating substrate 200, the bottom of the aerosol-generating substrate 200 abuts against the bottom wall 2221 of the movable tube 222, and the heating unit 14 is powered on to bake and heat the aerosol-generating substrate 200. In the process of inserting the aerosol-generating substrate 200 into the receiving assembly 22, the insertion force applied to the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is small and will not push the movable tube 222 to move downwards, and thus, the total length of the receiving assembly 22 is maintained in the initial length L0. When a large insertion force is applied to the aerosol-generating substrate 200, the aerosol-generating substrate 200 may push the bottom wall 2221 of the movable tube 222 to drive the movable tube 222 to move downwards slightly, and the total length of the receiving assembly 22 will be slightly increased and then return to the initial length L0.

[0040] After the aerosol-generating substrate 200 is heated, the top cover 21 can be pulled to move upwards away from the body portion 11. When the top cover 21 moves upwards, the matching height of the lower end of the top cover 21 and the guide portion 181 decreases gradually on one hand; on the other hand, the fixed tube 221 moves upwards with the top cover 21, the movable tube 222 and the aerosol-generating substrate 200 do not move, the first limit protrusion 2213 of the fixed tube 221 moves upwards to further compress the elastic assembly 23, the total length of the receiving assembly 22 increases gradually, and there is no relative movement between the aerosol-generating substrate 200 and the heating unit 14. As shown in FIG. 5, when the top cover 21 and the body portion 11 are just separated from each other, the lower end of the top cover 21 is just separated from the guide portion 181, that is, the top cover 21 moves with respect to the guide portion 181 by H0, the fixed tube 221 slides with respect to the movable tube 222 by H0, and the total length of the receiving assembly 22 changes from L0 to L0+H0. As shown in FIG. 6, when the top cover 21 continue to move upwards the movable tube 222 will move upwards with the top cover 21,the bottom wall 2221 of the movable tube 222 pushes the aerosol-generating substrate 200 to move upwards to be separated from the heating unit 14.

[0041] A dust cover 25 for covering or uncovering the opening 210 may be arranged at the top of the top cover 21. When the aerosol generating device 100 is not used, the dust cover 25 can be pushed to cover the opening 210 to prevent dust from entering the opening 210. When the aerosol generating device 100 is used, the dust cover 25 can be pushed to uncover the opening 210 to allow the aerosol-generating substrate 200 to be inserted into the aerosol generating device 100 via the opening 210.

[0042] FIG. 7 illustrates an aerosol generating device 100 according to a second embodiment of the invention, which differs from the aerosol generating device 100 in the first embodiment mainly in that, in this embodiment, the movable tube 224 is slidably sleeved on outside of the fixed tube 223. Correspondingly, in this embodiment, the elastic assembly 23 is arranged between the inner wall of the movable tube 224 and the outer wall of the fixed tube 223. The first limit protrusion 2231 abutting against the lower end of the elastic assembly 23 may be formed by an outward extension of the outer wall of the fixed tube 223 in the radial direction, and the second limit protrusion 2243 abutting against the upper end of the elastic assembly 23 may be formed by an inward extension of the inner wall of the movable tube 224 in the radial direction.

[0043] Specifically, in this embodiment, the movable tube 224 may comprise a first tube section 2241 and a second tube section 2242 located above the first tube section 2241. The outer diameter and inner diameter of the second tube section 2242 may be respectively greater than the outer diameter and inner diameter of the first tube section 2241. The fixed tube 223 is slidably arranged in the second tube section 2242, and the lower end of the fixed tube 223 separably abuts against a step surface formed between the second tube section 2242 and the first tube section 2241. The inner diameter of the fixed tube 223 may be the same as that of the first tube section 2241, such that when the top cover 21 and the body portion 11 are connected, inner walls of the receiving space 220 are in smooth transition. The inner diameter of the second tube section 2242 is greater than that of the fixed tube 223, and the elastic assembly 23 is arranged between the inner wall of the second tube section 2242 and the outer wall of the fixed tube 223. The first limit protrusion 2231 may be formed by an outward extension of the outer wall of the lower end of the fixed tube 223 in the radial direction, and the second limit protrusion 2243 may be formed by an inward extension of the inner wall of the upper end of the second tube section 2242 in the radial direction.
