Abstract
Description
Description of the invention: False wall panel of the screen type with as- magnetic assembly The invention relates to the technical field of false walls of the screen type. The term "screen" here refers to a vertical panel screen designed to isolate from view and to conceal, the screen also being able to protect against drafts and wind if necessary. A screen panel can be openwork, and may include, for example, elements made of wood, polymer, composite, or metal, with the elements forming slats or strips, giving the panel the appearance of a shutter or louvers. There are also blackout screen panels made of canvas or fabric. Screens can be used temporarily, for example to create voting booths during elections, or to create stands during exhibitions or trade fairs. Screens can be used for extended periods, for example to protect privacy on a balcony or terrace, or to create a workspace in a workshop, office, or retail space. Screens can be used permanently, for example to create a fitting room or a medical consultation room. Screens are thus used in very different contexts, with specific requirements for each context. In the medical field, mobile screens are used to preserve patient privacy, for example, during an examination or outpatient procedure. A medical screen typically consists of a metal frame, particularly made of aluminum alloy, onto which a coated fabric curtain is mounted, sliding on a rod, or onto which rigid panels, for example, made of polycarbonate, are mounted. A key requirement for medical screens is the preservation of patients' health; in particular, medical screens must be washable and must not hinder or disrupt treatment. In interior design, office screens are used to separate workspaces or reception areas such as cafeterias. An office screen typically consists of a metal frame onto which a panel made of melamine, glass, fabric, or a polymer material, such as polycarbonate, is mounted. There are also office screens with a wooden frame encased in foam, for example... Melamine, covered with fabric, particularly polyester. The essential requirement for office screens is the comfort of people; office screens must reduce noise pollution and allow for the reconfiguration of workspaces or reception areas. In the entertainment industry, screens are used for photo shoots or filming, or to create fitting rooms. Screens used in entertainment are most often rented, along with other production equipment, from audiovisual equipment and service rental companies, often by the day or week. Examples include cardboard screens, or screens made of a wooden or aluminum alloy frame with a fabric screen, particularly black nylon, mounted on it. Screens can be used to conceal cables or flight cases in technical control rooms, or to delimit a fitting area, for example, during fashion shows. The essential requirements for screens rented for entertainment are lightness, price, opacity, and ease of use. As a guideline, a 1-meter screen...8m high and 2m wide, articulated with four panels, including a black nylon canvas, usually weighs about 10 kg, for a rental price of around 24 euros per day. The invention relates in particular to screens used in the entertainment industry, especially during filming or fashion shows, and the invention relates more particularly to screens equipped with magnetic assembly means. The use of magnetic means for assembling false wall panels is known. Document AU2006202122 (Worthington, 2006) describes the assembly of rectangular panels to form a false wall. Each panel comprises a frame with recesses along its vertical edges, the openings of the recesses facing inward. A bar-shaped magnet is inserted into each recess, which is then closed with a cap. The magnet is mounted in its recess so as to be free to rotate about its longitudinal axis. To assemble two panels, the vertical lateral edges of the two panels are placed opposite each other, and the magnets contained in the frame members of each panel are aligned when the edges of the two panels are butted together. A retaining device prevents horizontal movement between the two panels. The means of retaining the two panels comprises a spring-loaded clip projecting from a vertical edge of the first panel, this clip fitting into a recess in the vertical edge of the second panel. The device described in document AU2006202122 has many drawbacks. Firstly, each panel bears, on its two lateral vertical edges, three Protruding spring clips. The presence of these spring clips poses a risk of hand injuries during the assembly or disassembly of panels. Secondly, the device does not allow the creation of false walls or screens including corners. Thirdly, if a magnet is incorrectly positioned, the user must remove the front or back panel, then remove the cap covering the internal recess in the panel, to access the faulty magnet, these operations being tedious. The GB2523300 standard (Np Aerospace, 2015) describes a panel comprising a core of thermosetting foam or thermoplastic, or wood, the core being covered with a skin of woven or non-woven composite material. Panels can be joined in the same plane to form partitions. The panels are equipped with magnets along their joining edges. The panels described in GB2523300 are not suitable for creating false walls or screens with corners. Document US20210087811 (Lai Ting-Yu, 2021) describes the assembly of panels to form temporary partitions. Each panel comprises a frame with a magnet screwed to each upright. A magnetizable U-shaped element covers the magnet. This arrangement allows the frame to be made of a non-metallic material. The panels described in document US2021 / 0087811 have several drawbacks. In particular, the U-shaped joining elements are mounted on the frame and create an additional thickness, so a gap is necessarily present between the two assembled panels. The resulting false wall is not completely opaque. A first object of the invention is to provide a false wall of the screen type which does not present the disadvantages of devices known in the prior art. A second object of the invention is to provide a wall panel enabling the formation, by assembly of at least two panels, of a false wall of the screen type which is perfectly opaque. A third object of the invention is to provide a screen-type wall panel which is easy to maintain, in particular to clean. Another object of the invention is to provide a screen-type panel whose appearance can be quickly and easily changed, according to the wishes or needs of the user. Another object of the invention is to provide a screen-type panel that is lightweight, easy to transport, allowing its use in the entertainment industry, particularly for photo shoots or filming, or even for creating fitting rooms, the panel allowing the creation of temporary spaces or confidentiality, dedicated for example to the management of film shoots for cinema, advertising, fashion or events. Another object of the invention is to provide a screen-type panel enabling the formation of false walls including angles, in particular right angles. For these purposes, it is proposed, according to a first aspect, a screen-type panel comprising a frame formed by the assembly of two uprights and at least one crossbar, the frame comprising means for assembling two panels together, the assembly means being of a magnetic type and comprising a magnet fixed on a support piece, the support piece being fixed on the upright of the frame, the support piece having a front face and being provided with means suitable for allowing adjustment of the position of this front face between a retracted state, in which a magnet is fixed on the front face of the support piece, and a deployed state, in which the front face of the support piece is apparent. These adjustment means allow the position of the support piece and the magnet to be fixed so that the front face of the support piece or the magnet does not protrude from the edge of the chassis. Since the upright is a profiled piece with a lateral edge, the front face of the support piece is thus advantageously flush with this lateral edge, in the deployed state of the support piece. The upright being a profiled piece having a lateral edge, the magnet having a front face, the front face of the magnet is advantageously flush with the lateral edge of the upright, in the retracted state of the support piece. The frames of two panels can thus be assembled with their uprights in contact, without light or daylight between the two adjacent uprights. In some implementations, each of the two frame uprights has at least two support pieces, with only one upright having a magnet on each support piece. One side edge of the panel is thus equipped with active magnetic means, including a magnet—for example, the right-hand side edge of the panel—while the other side edge has passive magnetic means and no magnet. This arrangement makes panel assembly very intuitive. Advantageously, the support piece comprises two side panels, each of which has at least one oblong opening for a screw-mounting device on the frame upright. The support piece is U-shaped, with the two side panels perpendicular to a front panel that supports the front face. This arrangement allows two panels to be joined at a 90° angle, an assembly that is useful for creating private spaces, such as a fitting room. Advantageously, each of the two side walls of the support piece is provided with two oblong openings for the passage of screwing means onto the frame upright. Advantageously, the panel includes a casing that at least partially conceals the frame from view. The casing is made in the form of an annular strip or a bag, for example from a polymer material or textile. In a particular implementation, the cover is made of textile material, for example polyester and elastane. Other objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description of embodiments given below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: [Fig.1] is a perspective view of a screen-type panel, according to a embodiment method, the panel envelope not being shown, in order to show the panel frame structure; [Fig.2] is a perspective view from a lower angle of the panel frame represented in [Fig.1]; [Fig. 3] is an exploded perspective view of the assembly of a magnet on a support piece, the support piece itself being fixed to an upright of a chassis as shown in figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 shows a frame 1 of a screen-type panel, according to one embodiment, the frame 1 being shown in perspective. In the embodiment shown, the chassis 1 comprises two uprights 2 and three cross members 3, and forms a rectangular frame, the chassis 1 being provided with two support feet 4. In other embodiments, not shown, the chassis comprises a single cross member, for example in the upper part, the chassis having a U or H shape when viewed from the front. In other embodiments, not shown, the frame has two crossbars, for example at the top and bottom, or more than three crossbars. The number of crossbars depends in particular on the height of the panel. As an example, the uprights 2 are approximately 2100 mm long, and the crossbars 3 are approximately 1000 mm long. In other, unrepresented embodiments, the frame comprises more than two uprights, and when viewed from the front, it appears as a lattice. The number of uprights depends, in particular, on the width of the panel. In the embodiment shown, the crossbeams 3 are substantially equidistant. In other embodiments, not shown, the frame comprises three or more cross members, not equidistant. The distance between the cross members depends including desired mechanical properties for the screen-type panel, with closely spaced crossbars in the lower part allowing for increased weight in the lower part of the screen and therefore the stability of a large screen. The terms "upright" and "cross member" here refer in particular to a piece of roughly constant or profiled section, the piece being able to be made of steel, metal alloy such as aluminum alloy, solid or reconstituted wood, polymer material or composite material. In some designs, the uprights and crossbars are made of metallic material, for example steel, stainless steel, or a light alloy such as aluminum alloy. The uprights and crossbars may be coated, for example, with a lacquer finish. They are produced, for example, by cold drawing or cold rolling. In some implementations, the uprights and crossbars are made of polymer material or composite material, and are obtained for example by molding, extrusion, or pultrusion. For example, the profiles are made of composite material reinforced with fiberglass, flax fiber, or carbon fiber. The use of composite materials makes it possible to form a very lightweight frame 1, as the material used to form the uprights 2 and cross members 3 has a low density, for example on the order of 1.85 g / cm³, while the frame 1 has high mechanical strength. The uprights 2 and cross members 3 may be made of polymer material, where appropriate reinforced with short or long fibers, for example carbon fiber, the polymer material being for example polyethylene, in particular high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyetheretherketone (PEEK), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), epoxy resin, or a copolymer or mixture of these polymers. In the embodiment shown, the uprights 2 have a substantially square cross-section. As an example, the uprights 2 and crossbars 3 can be formed from square-section tubes, 25 mm on each side and 1.5 mm thick, made of aluminum alloy. In other embodiments, not shown, the uprights have a round cross-section, or are C-shaped, or U-shaped. The uprights and crossbars can be solid or hollow. In some designs, the uprights and crossbars are solid profiles with a square, rectangular, or polygonal cross-section. Advantageously, the uprights and crossbars are hollow profile components, for example, tubes with a square, rectangular, or polygonal cross-section, allowing for the formation of a frame that is both lightweight and highly mechanically resistant. The assembly of the uprights and crossbeams can be carried out, for example, by welding. brazing, gluing, bolting, riveting. When the uprights and crossbars are made of solid wood or reconstituted wood, the assembly of the uprights and crossbars is for example made by tenon and mortise or with dowels. When the uprights and crossbars are made of metallic material, for example aluminum alloy, the assembly of the uprights and crossbars is carried out in particular by welding or bolting. In some configurations, the frame is demountable, facilitating storage or the creation of different panels within a range. For example, the uprights and crossbars are assembled using mitered joints and bolted together. The uprights and / or crossbars are of varying lengths, allowing for the creation of panels of different heights and widths, depending on the requirements. The panels can advantageously be delivered disassembled, allowing a maximum number of profiles to be packaged in a minimum volume. In the embodiment shown, the uprights 2 and cross members 3 form a frame 1 having a substantially flat lateral edge 5, and an envelope covering the frame 1 and advantageously resting on its lateral edge. The envelope is not shown in the figures, in order to illustrate the structure of the frame 1. In other embodiments, not shown, the lateral edge of the chassis is in the shape of an arc of a circle. The term "envelope" here refers to a piece that adapts to the shape of chassis 1, and surrounds and covers chassis 1. In some implementations, the casing takes the form of an annular strip of material, forming a band, resting against the stiles 2 of the panel. The casing forms a sleeve and slides onto the frame 1, with the casing open at the top and bottom of the panel. Advantageously, the casing covers the entire height of the stiles 2 and may extend slightly above them, so as to completely conceal the frame 1 from view by an observer looking at the panel from the front. Alternatively, the casing may cover only a portion of the height of the frame 1. In other implementations, the envelope takes the form of a bag, resting against the panel's uprights 2, the bag being closed on one side, the envelope then covering the frame 1. Advantageously, the envelope completely conceals the frame 1 from the view of an observer looking at the panel from the front or from above. Alternatively, the envelope may only cover part of the height of the frame 1. The envelope advantageously performs several functions. A primary function is to cover, mask, or hide the chassis from view. Advantageously, the cover completely conceals the frame 1 from view by an observer, forming a protective cover for it. For this purpose, in some implementations, the cover is made of opaque textile material, for example, polyurethane-coated polyester, or even a composite material. In other implementations, the cover is made of a flexible, opaque thermoplastic material, such as polyvinyl chloride. "Flexible" here refers to the property of a material to be elastically deformed, the cover advantageously conforming to the shape of the frame 1. The cover can be printed, for example, by screen printing. The resulting panel is advantageously completely opaque, thus preserving the privacy of a space, particularly a temporary space used as a production control room for film, advertising, fashion, or events. A second function of the cover is to allow the screen-style panel to be adapted to the user's needs. To this end, the cover is advantageously detachable, allowing the user to choose the cover according to their requirements. For example, the cover forms a closed sleeve around the frame 1, secured by hook-and-loop fasteners, a zipper, an elastic band through eyelets, or a snap closure. The user can thus choose, for example, a cover made of washable or non-washable fabric, a cover in a specific solid color or with a print, depending on the intended use of the screen-style panel. The screen-style panel thus formed blends seamlessly into its surroundings, as the cover can feature a color or print related to the brand or product for advertising, fashion, or events. A third function of the enclosure is to improve the acoustic comfort of users when using the screen-type panel. For this purpose, the enclosure is advantageously made of acoustic fabric or textile, for example, perforated or micro-perforated polymer fabric. In the embodiment shown, the cover is advantageously made of a black stretch fabric, for example, composed of polyester and elastane. For example, the fabric is polyester-elastane and stretches approximately 10% lengthwise and approximately 7% widthwise, being produced in widths of 200 cm. The fabric is advantageously flame-retardant and fire-resistant according to DIN 4102-01. It is advantageously washable at 30°C and can be dry-cleaned and ironed. The fabric has a low density, approximately 260 g / m². The fabric exhibits good colorfastness to rubbing, between 3 and 4 according to NF-EN ISO 105X12. In the embodiment shown, the panel is formed by the placement of the chassis 1 in an envelope, and the advantageous attachment of two stabilizing feet 4. The panel may have more than two stabilizing feet, especially when the frame is wide. When the frame is narrow, the panel may only have one stabilizing foot. The 4 stabilizing feet are advantageously mounted pivoting on a lower cross member 3 of the chassis 1. The feet 4 are thus mobile between a folded storage position and a deployed use position. A foot 4 in the folded position extends substantially parallel to the lower cross member 3 of the frame 1, and does not protrude beyond the plane formed by the frame 1. The folded position of the feet 4 is convenient when storing, transporting or handling stacked panels. A foot 4 in the deployed position extends substantially perpendicularly to the lower cross member 3 of the chassis 1. The stabilizing feet advantageously incorporate a thin, flat, ground-supporting plate with rounded edges. These features minimize the risk of injury or tripping of feet by people walking near the sign. Mechanical stops can determine the folded and unfolded positions of the 4 stabilizing feet. In one implementation, the rotation of feet 4 is carried out over a limited stroke of 90°, by the presence of two mechanical stops. In other implementations, the rotation of the 4 feet is possible over a 180° range, the deployed position being marked by a positioning means. Advantageously, the rotation of a stabilizer foot 4 is carried out against the resistance of an elastic means, such as a torsion spring. In some implementations, the panel includes at least one height-adjustable foot 4, allowing for a stable position of the panel on uneven ground. Foot 4 is advantageously equipped with an elastomer pad, reducing the risk of slipping. In the embodiment shown, the frame of the chassis 1 defines two windows 6, 7, each forming an empty space in the panel. In some embodiments, not shown, a material is placed within the frame, for example in one of the windows 6, 7. This material advantageously offers acoustic and / or thermal insulation properties. For example, the frame houses a panel made of cork, wood fiber, hemp or cellulose fiber, cotton wool, polyurethane, polyester, glass wool, or rock wool. In the embodiment shown, the chassis 1 is intended to be placed on the ground. In other embodiments, not shown, the chassis is provided with means for attaching it, for example by suspension. To this end, an upper cross member of the chassis may be provided with male or female attachment means. In other embodiments, not shown, the chassis is provided with means for mounting on a surface such as a wall. In some embodiments, not shown, the uprights and crossbars form a frame which, when viewed from the front, has a U-shaped H-shape, with the casing resting on the lateral edge of the uprights. In the embodiment shown, the chassis frame is rectangular in shape and extends substantially in a vertical plane. In other, unrepresented embodiments, the frame is roughly square, or has a height less than its width. Such geometry is useful, for example, for concealing control room equipment and, more generally, technical equipment in a temporary installation. In some embodiments, not shown, the uprights and / or crossbars are curved, the frame forming a non-rectilinear contour. For example, the upper crossbar is curved, so as to form a top edge that is substantially in the shape of a circular or elliptical arc. Chassis 1 is equipped with 10 magnetic assembly means. At least one magnet 11 is fixed to a support piece 12, the support piece 12 being fixed in a recess 13 provided on an upright 2 of the chassis 1. Magnetic assembly means include active and passive means. An "active magnetic assembly means" refers to means comprising a magnet. A "passive magnetic assembly means" refers to means comprising elements attracted by a magnet. In the embodiment shown, the active means are arranged on a first upright 2a of the chassis 1, the passive means being arranged on the second upright 2 of the chassis 1. In other embodiments, not shown, some panels do not have magnets, the frames of these panels only including passive assembly means, other panels including magnets, on at least one of the two uprights of the frame. In other embodiments, not shown, the two uprights of the frame each carry at least one magnet. In the embodiment shown, the chassis 1 includes five magnets 11, approximately equidistant, on one upright 2a of the frame, the other upright 2 of the frame being without magnets, each upright comprising five support pieces 12 for magnets. The support pieces 12 fixed on a first upright 2a of the chassis 1, and each carrying a magnet 11, are arranged at the same height as the support pieces 12 fixed on the second upright 2 of the chassis 1, which do not carry a magnet. The number of magnets 11 depends in particular on the desired strength for the assembly, which itself depends on the constraints of use, in particular the risks of a person leaning on a panel of the screen. In the embodiment shown, the support piece 12 is U-shaped, thus defining a front or frontal support face 14 for the magnet 11 when it is mounted on the support piece 12 of a first panel. The support piece 12 includes two lateral walls 15, 16 for supporting a magnet 11 of a second panel, brought close to and assembled with the first panel. The support piece 12 is for example made of steel, and is mounted by screwing, in the recess 13 of the upright 2a, the upright 2a being for example made of aluminium alloy. The magnet 11 is advantageously made in the form of a plate, forming a flat front face 17. The magnet 11 is fixed to the support piece 12, for example by screwing. In the embodiment shown, two screws 18, 19 allow the magnet 11 to be mounted on the support piece 12, the magnet 11 being pressed against the front face 14 of the support piece 12. For reference, magnet 11 is a plate 40 mm high, 20 mm wide and 2 mm thick. Magnets 11 can be of the aluminium-nickel-cobalt type, ferrites, or even of the rare earth type, for example samarium-cobalt. Advantageously the magnets are of the neodymium-iron-boron type, obtained by sintering. The support piece 12 is provided, on each of its two lateral support walls 15, 16, with two oblong slots 20, 21, for fixing the support piece 12 to a post 2 by screwing. The screwing means 22 of the support piece 12 to the post 2 are shown in the exploded view in [Fig.3]. The oblong lights 20, 21 allow adjustment of the position of the support piece 12 in the recess 13. Advantageously, when the support piece 12 does not carry a magnet 11, this position adjustment is made so as to ensure that the front face 14 of the support piece 12 is flush, in alignment, in the same plane, with the lateral edge 5 of the upright 2. When the lateral edge of the upright is curved, for example in an arc of a circle, the front face of the support piece is of similar shape and comes into continuity with the lateral edge of the upright. Advantageously, when the support piece carries a magnet 11, this position adjustment is made so as to ensure that the magnet 11 is flush with, aligned with, and in the same plane as the lateral edge 5 of the upright 2. When the lateral edge of the upright is curved, for example in an arc of a circle, the front face of the magnet is of a similar shape and comes into continuity with the lateral edge of the upright. A first advantage of these arrangements is to ensure that the lateral surface of the two uprights 2 of a frame does not have any protruding elements. Thus, when the enclosure is mounted on the frame, the risk of injury or tearing is significantly reduced. This advantage is all the more important given that the enclosure is intended to be removed frequently, either for cleaning or because the panel has changed users. Screen-type panels used in film production offices are usually rented by the day or week. The panels according to the invention allow the enclosures to be customized to users' preferences in terms of color or image printing. The risk of hand injuries when handling the frames is also reduced, as the lateral surface of the uprights does not have any protruding elements. A second advantage of this mounting method is that it ensures a flush, plane-to-plane contact between the two lateral edges of the two adjacent uprights during panel assembly. This flush contact is achieved through the thickness of the two assembled panels. Consequently, there are no gaps or spaces between the lateral edges of the two assembled panels, resulting in perfect privacy and secrecy. A third advantage of this mounting of the support pieces is to allow the assembly of two contiguous panels along three contact surfaces, making it possible to form walls with 90° angles. The invention makes it possible to create removable partitions and temporary spaces dedicated to film production management, for cinema, advertising, fashion, events. The panels can be adapted to user demand, by choosing a removable cover with a suitable aesthetic (colour, possible printing), and by choosing panels with suitable acoustic or thermal properties. The panels provide complete blackout, preserving privacy. The panels are assembled without creating any residual gaps between them. The panels are easy to maintain and can withstand intensive use. The panel cover is machine washable or dry cleanable and can be ironed. Folding screen-type panels are lightweight. For reference, a panel made according to the method shown, with a height of 2100 mm and a width of 1000 mm... mm, and comprising a welded aluminium frame made of 25 mm square tubes with a thickness of 1.5 mm, covered with a polyester / elastane fabric cover with a density of 260 g / m°, it is extremely light, its weight being around 4 kg. The panels are assembled without tools. The panels exhibit great mechanical stability, thanks to the use of wide feet. The panel assembly is very strong. As an example, when an assembly of two panels as shown is used, with neodymium-iron-boron type magnets, the adhesive force is around 167N and the shear force is around 33N. The panels are easily stored and transported, stacked on top of each other, or bundled on pallets. The feet are conveniently mounted to swivel, their presence not hindering the stacking of the panels during storage, transport, or handling.
