Description

Title of the invention: HAIR CARE SERUM COMPOSITION FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a hair care serum composition. The hair care serum composition comprises at least two polymers, at least one silicone, at least one amidoamine, at least one organic acid, at least one cationic surfactant and at least one non-ionic surfactant. The present invention also relates to a method of treating and reconstructing hair and to using a hair care serum composition. CONTEXT OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In the field of cosmetic treatment of keratinous fibers, particularly human keratinous fibers, and more particularly hair, consumers desire hair care treatments that can impart hydration and reconstruct damaged hair, which can improve the appearance of frizzy hair.

[0003] The quality and condition of hair is generally negatively affected by several factors, such as the action of external agents such as sunlight, wind, pollution, humidity and chemicals in swimming pools, and also by mechanical or chemical treatments, such as brushing, combing, shampooing, dyeing, bleaching, permanent waving and / or straightening. The hair is thus damaged by these different factors and can over time become dry, coarse or dull, especially in fragile areas and more particularly at the ends, which leads to split ends. In such circumstances, the hair can also become less manageable, more frizzy and less manageable, and more difficult to style or shape.

[0004] The aim is to treat and reconstruct keratinous fibers that have been sensitized and / or damaged, in particular to treat keratinous hair fibers that have an opaque, dull, brittle, lifeless and / or fragile appearance, as well as dry and split ends.

[0005] Cellulose and gums are used to achieve different objectives in a formulation, which may be related to film formation, stability, textures, etc. Silicones, most of the time, are related to the appearance of cosmetics, film formation, shine, etc. In most products developed for hair care, it is common to find some type of cellulose, which may sometimes be combined with a gum. When the gum is cationic, it is rarely used in products with rinse, because after rinsing, the gum filler will allow good interaction with water and can come out of the yarn, thus spoiling its presence in the initial formulation.

[0006] One way to reduce friction and achieve high performance in terms of fiber coverage is to invest in film-forming polymers, however, the combination of more than two polymers for this purpose is rarely observed in literature and products.

[0007] Following the consumer movement in the treatment category towards a more liquid and fluid texture with knowledge of skin care and the ideal balance of hair care ingredients, an objective of the present invention is to provide an alternative hair care experience with a new sensoriality to hair care routines and immediate reconstructive effects: strengthened and aligned hair, without stiffness and shiny.

[0008] Although care products that address these problems already exist on the market, the hair care system of the present invention provides improved hair results, including improved manageability, manageability, detangling, softness and clean feel, satisfaction with repair and texture, frizz control or less frizz, and less hair breakage. Summary of the invention

[0009] The invention relates to a skin care serum texture for a hair care product aimed at repairing hair, replenishing hair moisture without leaving it greasy, oily and without weighing the hair down. The product can be used as a rinse-out or leave-in product.

[0010] The hair care serum composition of the present invention contains a combination of polymers and care ingredients, the formulation of which may be related to film formation, stability, textures, etc.

[0011] It has been surprisingly discovered that the use of two celluloses of different molecular weights can combine and form intertwined structures. Added to a cationic gum and a mixture of two types of silicones, the deposition of this entire silicone polymer complex becomes rapid, strong and individually uniform on the fiber. The presence of a positively charged silicone at acidic pH will strengthen the deposition initiated by the cationic guar gum, as both amodimethicone and the gum silicone will have a high affinity for the damaged yarn, as the yarn is predominantly negatively charged. The high molecular weight of the other silicone, dimethicone, also strengthens the deposition by intertwining with other polymer chains. Therefore, the considerable increase in the weight of the structure also results in high slip (less friction), neutralization fillers, greater coverage area and resistance to rinsing.

[0012] Instrumental tests show that the invention significantly increases the flexibility of damaged yarn, which can translate into greater strength. Expert and laboratory tests show that the formulation has an immediate effect on yarn processing and coverage, generating wet and dry results of high fiber alignment. From this, it is possible to suggest that there is an increase in yarn weight due to the deposition of the silicone polymer complex and ease of drying since the yarn becomes more hydrophobic. The excellent results of both rinse-off and leave-on products demonstrate that the formulation is versatile and unique.

[0013] In general, rinse-off products are different from leave-on products, but the present invention has proven that a single formulation can have excellent results in these very different scenarios.

[0014] Other subjects and characteristics, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become even more apparent upon reading the detailed description and examples which follow. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0118] Two prototype products were tested in two steps. The first time, users applied the inventive composition of Ex. 1 after shampooing and waited for it to act for 5 minutes, then rinsed the product and optionally used a conditioner or mask. This routine was based on one of the liquid keratin routines. The second time, users were free to choose their routine.

[0119] During application, the inventive composition exhibited rapid absorption and easy application related to the fluid and light texture, and furthermore ease of detangling. In addition, the inventive composition gives the hair rapid results with a soft feel, shine and movement, less frizz and volume with treated ends. Therefore, users mentioned that the inventive composition can be a stand-alone treatment. Flexibility test

[0120] Two instrumental flexibility tests were conducted on a strand of smoothed and dirty hair and a strand of bleached hair compared to a strand of natural hair as references. The objective of these tests was to evaluate the impact of the hair care serum composition of the present invention on the flexibility of the hair, after rinse-out treatments. The results can be evaluated in [Fig.l] and [Fig.2], in which a high maximum force (N) indicated that the hair was straight and rigid, and a lower maximum force indicated that the hair was softer and more flexible.

[0121] The smoothed and dirty hair exhibited lower flexibility compared to the natural hair reference. After applying the composition of Ex. 1 to smoothed and dirty hair, the hair exhibited similar flexibility to that of natural hair.

[0122] The bleached hair also exhibited lower flexibility compared to the natural hair reference. After applying the composition of Ex. 1 to bleached hair, the hair exhibited similar flexibility to that of natural hair.
