Abstract

To provide a gas engine having a control valve for controlling a supply of work oil, in which shaking caused by a weight balance thereof.SOLUTION: An engine 1 includes: a gas injection valve 30 for injecting hydrogen gas into a cylinder 16; a gas gate valve 35 for controlling a supply of the hydrogen gas into the gas injection valve 30; a gate control valve 43 which opens and closes the gas gate valve 35 by controlling a supply of work oil into the gas gate valve 35; and an injection control valve 47 which opens and closes the gas injection valve 30 by controlling the supply of work oil into the gas injection valve 30. The gas injection valve 30 and the gas gate valve 35 are both inserted into an upper surface 15a of a cylinder cover 15. One lateral surface of the cylinder cover 15 composes an attachment surface 15l facing a predefined direction A1 that is perpendicular to a center axis Op of the piston 21. The gate control valve 43 and the injection control valve 47 are both attached to the attachment surface 15l.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
