Abstract

To appropriately execute processing based on gas measurement.SOLUTION: A biological information measurement system pertaining to an embodiment is a system for measuring biological information of a user in a toilet room on the basis of defecation gas discharged into the bowl of a toilet stool installed in the toilet room. The biological information measurement system comprises a gas detection device including a gas sensor that reacts to gas contained in a gaseous body and a control device for controlling the gas detection device. The gas sensor is composed of a sensor element and a resistive element for measurement that are arranged therein, and the control device controls the gas detection device so that the measured value by the gas sensor fits within a predetermined range at other than the time when the toilet stool is in use by the user, and executes reference value control for controlling the measured value used as a reference value to a prescribed value. The gas detection device executes processing related to defecation gas measurement by using the reference value controlled by the reference value control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
