Problems solved by technology

[0015] In practical applications, the existing technology has the following problems: when the AAS CPE requests the uplink bandwidth through the polling mechanism, it will cause a large access delay
That is to say, even if a certain CPE does not need to request uplink bandwidth, the base station still needs to waste time asking whether the CPE has a request for uplink bandwidth, and for a CPE with bandwidth request requirements, it may take a long time to wait for the base station to poll it
Therefore, for the AAS CPE outside the regular coverage, that is, the AAS CPE in the extended area, the polling strategy for the bandwidth request is not efficient, which will lead to the problem of large access delay

Embodiment Construction

[0046] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0047] In the embodiment of the present invention, when the AAS CPE located in the extended area needs to request uplink bandwidth, a bandwidth request is sent to the base station through a frame sent by the base station and carrying a contention window for competing for bandwidth, that is, the bandwidth The request is sent to the base station in the contention window. If the AASCPE obtains the requested bandwidth, the network access process is completed. Wherein, the base station sends the frame including the contention window to the AAS CPE in each direction through the beams of different directions formed by the adaptive antenna.

[0048] The first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below. This embodiment relates to a network acces...

Abstract

The invention relates to the wireless communication field, and discloses a network access method, a system as well as a device to enable the bandwidth requesting efficiency of an AAS CPE to be improved, so as to reduce the access delay. In the invention, a base station sends out a frame which contains a competition window used for competing the bandwidth to the AAS CPE through beams which are formed by a self-adaptive antenna and direct to different directions, and the AAS CPE sends out a bandwidth request to the base station though the competition window when needing to request a bandwidth. If the AAS CPE obtains the requested bandwidth, the access procedure of the network is finished. A timer is arranged in the AAS CPE. When the timer is time out, and the AAS CPE does not obtain the requested bandwidth or obtain the bandwidth smaller than the requested one, the AAS CPE resends out the bandwidth request to the base station through the competition window after random backoff for a certain time, or discards a signal data unit to be sent out.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular to network access technology. Background technique [0002] In recent years, communication technology has developed rapidly. Currently, there are even some license-free systems, such as Wireless Regional Area Network (WRAN for short), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE for short) 802.16H, Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN for short). Local Area Network, referred to as "WLAN") and other systems. Among them, the WRAN network is an emerging network technology that provides high-bandwidth and wide-range coverage for remote areas and low-density population areas. IEEE formally established the IEEE802.22 working group for it, therefore, WRAN is an alias of IEEE802.22. [0003] The WRAN system is a license-exempt operation system, and the WRAN network uses a cognitive radio technology to search for an idle frequency band of a licensed user (LU) for communicatio...
