Abstract

The invention provides the application of thymic peptide Beta4 in preparing drugs for preventing and curing bronchial asthma. The test shows that the thymic peptide Beta4 can increase the tidal volume, reduce the breathing frequency and improve the pulmonary ventilation function of a mouse; the thymic peptide Beta4 can inhibit the hyperfunction of a Th2 cell subgroup, reduce the generation of IL-5 and prevent eosinophile granulocyte from aggregating and adhering so as to alleviate the inflammation of an airway and lung tissue; the thymic peptide Beta4 adopts the ways to interfere the occurrence of asthma, alleviate the symptoms of the asthma, defer the irreversibility of airway obstruction and recover the lung function level of the asthma. The application of the invention provides a base for new drug screening.
