Abstract

The present invention generally relates to an apparatus having a cutter element (20) for destroying articles such as sheets, and for feeding at least the top sheet into the cutter element from a stack of sheets in a tray (14) So that the mechanism (23) of shredding. In one embodiment, the apparatus uses a rotatable feed roller (24) to feed the paper at the top of the stack to the cutter element.
