Abstract

The invention discloses a branch cable and equipment employing the same. The branch cable comprises a multi-core access cable, a multi-core jumper cable and at least two connecting pieces with a plurality of wiring terminals, wherein each core wire of the multi-core access cable is used for transmitting a path of core wire signals, and all the core wire signals form a signal set; each of the corewires of the multi-core access cable is directly connected to one wiring terminal of the connecting pieces; the wiring terminals directly connected with the core wires of the multi-core access cable are at least distributed on the two connecting pieces; and each wiring terminal directly connected with the core wire of the multi-core access cable is connected with one wiring terminal of each connecting piece through the multi-core jumper cable which is jumped among the connecting pieces, so that all the core wire signals of the signal set can be accessed to each connecting piece, and at most one path of the core wire signals is accessed to any wiring terminal of each connecting piece.
