The invention discloses muskmelon and pinto bean paste, which is prepared from the following raw materials: muskmelon, pinto beans, maize, celery, water, gymnadenia conopsea, stevia rebaudiana, self-heal, luffa leaves, corn stigmas, agar, fructose and coconut powder. A making method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparing muskmelon pulp; (2) preparing pinto bean paste; (3) preparing maize paste; (4) preparing vegetable juice; (5) preparing a nutrient solution; (6) soaking the agar, and heating the agar till melting for later use; and (7) mixing the materials obtained in all above steps, adding the fructose, coconut powder and appropriate water, boiling over high-temperature fire, boiling over slow fire, discharging the mixture out of a pan till the soluble solids reach 80-90%, thus obtaining the muskmelon and pinto bean paste.
