Abstract

The bi-directional speed governor comprises a bracket; the bracket is provided with a tachometer wheel, a ratchet wheel and a brake mechanism trigger assembly; the ratchet wheel is provided with a shifting fork linked with the brake mechanism trigger assembly; at least two stop blocks are arranged on one of the side surfaces on the circumference of the tachometer wheel; and the shifting fork is provided with an interference assembly, and interference can occur between the shifting fork and the stop blocks. The interference assembly comprises a support fixed to the shifting fork, an electromagnet fixed to the support and an electromagnetic core which is arranged in the electromagnet and penetrates through a hole in the shifting fork, and the motion trail of the electromagnetic core is parallel to the axis of the tachometer wheel.
