Abstract

A method, apparatus and computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The method may include: establishing a connection with a service network; sending an encrypted authentication credential to the service network, the authentication credential including a randomly selected key encryption key (KEK) and a service network identifier; authentication information and signature of the service network; and authenticating the service network by verifying the signature based on the KEK. The encrypted authentication credentials may be operable to identify the serving network. The signature can be generated using the KEK.
