The method comprises following steps: obtaining measuring logging well information of shale in a well to be evaluated in a work area; determining the shale layer segment of the well to be evaluated; establishing a shale gas reservoir quality evaluation standard according to measuring logging well information of real drilling wells in the work area; using the total organic carbon content TOC of shale as an X axis and the total porosity POR of shale as a Y axis to form a TOC-POC evaluation plate; on the evaluation plate, marking the classes of shale gas reservoir quality with different symbols; drawing a determined work area quality classification standard on the evaluation plate; setting points of the shale total porosity POR and total organic carbon content TOC of the shale gas reservoir layer segment of the well to be evaluated on the evaluation plate; determining the reservoir quality class corresponding to the shale gas reservoir layer segment of the well to be evaluated according to the area where the data points are located; outputting evaluation results.
