Abstract

The invention provides a seminar scheduling method and system based on integer programming. The method comprises the following steps: describing the number of conferences, conference themes and participant demands in a seminar by adopting an integer programming method; determining constraint conditions which need to be met by seminar scheduling, and establishing a target function; solving the objective function by utilizing a planning solver to obtain an optimal seminar scheduling result, wherein the constraint conditions comprise a hard constraint and a soft constraint, and the hard constraint comprises a time period conference number constraint, a conference arrangement constraint and a conference conflict constraint, the soft constraint comprises a conference time period selection constraint and a theme number constraint; according to the scheme, different variables, relationships and common constraints in a seminar scheduling model are described by using integer programming, so that the optimal solution of the problem can be solved by optimizing a software tool.
