[0054] Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 2 is a perspective view of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0055] like Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, the dishwasher 1 may include a body 10 forming an exterior.
[0056] The dishwasher 1 may further include an inner tank 12 provided inside the main body 10. The inner tank 12 may be provided in a substantially box shape. One side of the inner tank 12 may be open. That is, the inner tank 12 may have an opening. For example, the front surface of the inner tank 12 may be open.
[0057] The dishwasher 1 may further include a door 11 configured to open and close an opening of the inner tank 12. The door 11 may be installed in the body 10 to open and close the opening of the inner tank 12. The door 11 may be installed in the body 10 to be rotatable.
[0058] The dishwasher 1 may further include a storage container provided in the inner tank 12 to accommodate tableware.
[0059] The storage container may include a plurality of baskets 51, 52, and 53. Relatively large tableware may be stored in the plurality of baskets 51 and 52. However, the types of tableware accommodated in the plurality of baskets 51, 52, and 53 are not limited to relatively large tableware. That is, the plurality of baskets 51, 52, and 53 may accommodate not only relatively large tableware but also relatively small tableware.
[0060] The plurality of baskets 51, 52, and 53 may include an intermediate basket 52 located in the middle of the height of the dishwasher 1 and a lower basket 51 located in the lower portion of the dishwasher 1 in the height direction. The intermediate basket 52 may be provided to be supported by the intermediate guide rack 13a, and the lower basket 51 may be provided to be supported by the lower guide rack 13b. The intermediate guide rack 13a and the lower guide rack 13b may be mounted on the inner wall 14 of the inner tank 12 so as to be able to slide toward the opening of the inner tank 12. The inner wall 14 of the inner tank 12 may include an inner surface of a right wall and an inner surface of a left wall of the inner tank 12.
[0061] The storage container may include an upper basket 53 located in the upper part of the height of the dishwasher 1. The upper basket 53 may be formed as a shelf assembly to accommodate relatively small tableware. The following is suitable, the upper basket 53 may accommodate cooking utensils such as spoons, knives, or spatulas, or cutlery. In addition, the shelf assembly may accommodate small cups, such as coffee cups. However, the types of tableware accommodated in the upper basket 53 are not limited to the above examples.
[0062] In addition, the configuration of the basket is not limited thereto, and thus the upper basket 53 may not be included depending on the size of the liner 12. Therefore, the storage container may be implemented by only the middle basket 52 and the lower basket 51.
[0063] The dishwasher 1 may further include a sump 20 configured to collect and store wash water. The dishwasher 1 may include a washing chamber C corresponding to a space formed by the inside of the inner tank 12.
[0064] The washing chamber C is a space in which dishes placed in the baskets 51, 52 and 53 are washed by washing water and then dried. Washing water circulating in the washing chamber C and the sump 20 may be sealed to prevent the washing water from leaking to the outside of the washing chamber C through components other than the sump 20.
[0065] The dishwasher 1 may further include spray units 41, 42, and 43 configured to spray wash water. The spray units 41, 42, and 43 may include a first spray unit 41 disposed below the lower basket 51 in the height direction of the dishwasher 1, a second spray unit 42 disposed below the middle basket 52 in the height direction of the dishwasher 1, and a third spray unit 43 disposed above the upper basket 53 in the height direction of the dishwasher 1.
[0066] The first spray unit 41 may be rotatable around a rotation axis 41 a , the second spray unit 42 may be rotatable around a rotation axis 42 a , and the third spray unit 43 may be rotatable around a rotation axis 43 a .
[0067] However, the position of the spray unit is not limited thereto, and thus, unlike the second and third spray units 42 and 43, the first spray unit 41 may be fixed to one side of the lower portion of the washing chamber C. In this case, the first spray unit 41 may be configured to spray water in a substantially horizontal direction through a fixed nozzle, and the washing water sprayed in the horizontal direction from the nozzle of the first spray unit 41 may be guided to the upper side because the direction of the sprayed water is changed by the switching assembly. The switching assembly may be mounted on a rail through a holder and translated along the rail.
[0068] The third spray unit 43 may spray wash water toward dishes stored in the upper basket 53 and the middle and lower baskets 52 and 51 , and the second spray unit 42 may spray wash water toward dishes stored in the middle and upper baskets 52 and 53 .
[0069] Unlike the second and third spray units 42 and 43 , the first spray unit 41 may be fixed to a lower side of the inner container 12 , specifically, to the inside of the water storage tank 20 .
[0070] The dishwasher 1 may include a circulation pump 30 configured to pump water stored in the water storage tank 20 toward the spray units 41, 42, and 43. The wash water pumped by the circulation pump 30 may be supplied to the first spray unit 41 through the alternating device 200 connected to the circulation pump 30. Alternatively, the wash water pumped by the circulation pump 30 may be moved upward through a pipe 100 described later and then supplied to the second spray unit 42 or the third spray unit 43.
[0071] As described above, wash water stored in the water sump 20 or wash water introduced into the dishwasher 1 from the outside may flow to the alternating device 200 through the circulation pump 30 .
[0072] The alternating device 200 may supply wash water to the first spray unit 41 through the first flow path 61 connected to the first spray unit 41 , and may supply wash water to the pipe 100 through the second flow path 62 connected to the pipe 100 .
[0073] The alternating device 200 may selectively supply wash water to at least one of the first spray unit 41 and the pipe 100 .
[0074] The first flow path 61 and the second flow path 62 may be disposed below the washing chamber C. Wash water may flow into the first spray unit 41 and the duct 100 provided in the washing chamber C through the first flow path 61 and the second flow path 62 .
[0075] Washing water may flow into the second spray unit 42 and the third spray unit 43 through the pipe 100. (The first spray unit, the second spray unit, and the third spray unit of the spray unit may be referred to as a first rotating member, a second rotating member, and a third rotating member of the spray unit, respectively. However, hereinafter, the spray units will be referred to as a first spray unit, a second spray unit, and a third spray unit. In addition, the names of the spray units are not limited thereto, and on the contrary, the spray units may be referred to as a first spray unit, a second spray unit, and a first spray unit in sequence from the upper side)
[0076] Hereinafter, the pipeline 100 will be described in detail.
[0077] Figure 3 is a perspective view of a pipeline of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 4 is an exploded perspective view of a pipeline of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of a portion of a pipeline of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 6 is a perspective view of an intermediate rotating member and an intermediate basket of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 7 is a rear perspective view of an intermediate rotating member of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 8is a cross-sectional view of an intermediate rotating member and an intermediate basket of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view of a portion of a pipeline of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.10 is a cross-sectional view of a pipeline of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.11 is a rear perspective view of a portion of a first housing of a duct of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.12 is a front perspective view of a portion of a first housing of a duct of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0078] As described above, regarding the first body 110 and the second body 120 , numbers such as “first” and “second” do not limit components, and thus components corresponding to the first body 110 and components corresponding to the second body 120 may be referred to as the second body 120 and the first body 110 , respectively.
[0079] In addition, as for the first shell 140 and the second shell 150, numbers such as "first" and "second" do not limit the components, so the components corresponding to the first shell 140 and the components corresponding to the second shell 150 can be respectively referred to as the second shell 140 and the first shell 150.
[0080] like Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the duct 100 may include a first body 110 (the first body 110 may be referred to as an extension, but it is referred to as the first body hereinafter) extending in a first direction D1 facing upward in the height direction of the dishwasher 1. Wash water pumped from the circulation pump 30 disposed below the washing chamber C may move upward through the first body 110 to flow to the second spray unit 52 or the third spray unit 53.
[0081] The first body 110 may include a first outlet hole 111 provided to discharge wash water moving upward along the first body 110 .
[0082] The wash water discharged through the first outlet hole 111 may move to the second spray unit 42 .
[0083] The duct 100 may include a second body 120 to which wash water flows and which extends in a second direction D2 in the front-rear direction of the dishwasher 1 relative to the first direction D1 (the second body 120 may be referred to as an inlet portion, but hereinafter it is referred to as the second body 120).
[0084] The second body 120 may include an inlet docking piece 122 and an inlet hole 121, wherein the inlet docking piece 122 extends to the lower side of the washing chamber C by passing through the lower surface 12a of the inner tank 12 and is configured to allow the pipeline to be supported by the lower surface 12a of the inner tank 12, and the inlet hole 121 is arranged at the lower end of the inlet docking piece 122 and the washing water flows to the inlet hole 121.
[0085] The inlet docking piece 122 may introduce wash water into the second body 120 through the inlet hole 121 while supporting the duct 100 against the inner tank 12 .
[0086] Wash water introduced through the inlet hole 121 may move to the inside of the duct 100 through the duct flow path 101 formed in the second body 120 and the first body 110 , and then be discharged to the first outlet hole 111 .
[0087] The duct flow path 101 may be defined as a space disposed inside the duct 100 along the first and second bodies 110 and 120 and in which wash water flows. The duct flow path 101 may have a width extending in a third direction D3 perpendicular to the first and second directions D1 and D2.
[0088] The first body 110 may include a second outlet hole 112 provided to discharge wash water flowing upward along the first body 110 .
[0089] The wash water discharged through the second outlet hole 112 may move to the third spray unit 43. That is, the wash water flowing through the first body 110 may be discharged to the second spray unit 42 or the third spray unit 43 through the first outlet hole 111 or the second outlet hole 112.
[0090] The duct 100 may include an upper duct 160 connecting the third spray unit 43 to the second outlet hole 112. The upper duct 160 may be provided to communicate with the second outlet hole 112.
[0091] Specifically, the lower end of the upper duct 160 may be inserted into the second outlet hole 112 to be interlocked with the second outlet hole 112. However, the configuration is not limited thereto, and thus the second outlet hole 112 may be inserted into the lower end of the upper duct 160.
[0092] The configuration is not limited to the embodiment of the present disclosure. Therefore, the upper duct 160 may be provided as two components and formed integrally with the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 described later.
[0093] In conventional manner, when the duct includes portions extending in the first, second and third directions as shown in the embodiments of the present disclosure, that is, when the duct is formed in three dimensions, the duct may be manufactured by a blow molding method.
[0094] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the first body 110 may extend in a first direction D1, and the second body 120 may extend in a second direction D2 relative to the first body 110. In addition, the first body 110 and the second body 120 may extend in a third direction D3 to form a duct flow path 101.
[0095] When the pipe is manufactured by the blow molding method, the manufacturing time is relatively long, and the pipe is formed through a relatively large number of manufacturing steps, which is inefficient.
[0096] In particular, when the pipe is manufactured by a blow molding method, a tube extrusion process, an L-bending process or a U-bending process for forming the pipe in a three-dimensional direction, a process of forming the shape by molding, and a process of cutting unnecessary portions may be required.
[0097] As the shape of the pipe becomes more complex, the number of manufacturing steps may increase and complicate, thereby reducing manufacturing efficiency. In particular, when the traveling direction of the flow path formed inside the pipe changes, the process of bending the pipe may increase, thereby reducing manufacturing efficiency.
[0098] Furthermore, in order to form the first outlet hole 111 in the pipe, and in order to additionally form a docking portion 146 that is removably coupled to the second injection unit 42 or a guide 156 configured to guide the second injection unit 42 to be coupled to the docking portion 146, additional manufacturing steps may be required to form these, or alternatively, the docking portion 146 and the guide 156 need to be additionally formed and then coupled to the pipe, because it is difficult to achieve this specific shape of the pipe using a blow molding method, thereby reducing manufacturing efficiency.
[0099] In order to alleviate such difficulty, the duct 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may be formed when the first housing 140 is coupled to the second housing 150 .
[0100] Therefore, instead of the blow molding method, the duct 100 may be manufactured by coupling the first shell 140 and the second shell 150 , which are injection molded into a desired shape.
[0101] Since the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 are injection-molded separately and then easily coupled to each other to manufacture the duct 100 , the manufacturing steps may be reduced and the manufacturing time may also be reduced, thereby improving productivity.
[0102] Even in a conventional manner, the pipe can be formed by a manufacturing method in which two parts are thermally joined. However, in the case of a thermally joined manufacturing method, the manufacturing method is only possible when the pipe extends in one direction. Therefore, when the pipe needs to extend in at least three directions (such as a first direction D1, a second direction D2, and a third direction D3) (as shown in the embodiment of the present disclosure), the thermally joined method cannot be applied to manufacture the pipe.
[0103] In order to alleviate the above difficulties, as for the pipe 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the first shell 140 and the second shell 150 can be hooked with each other, so even when the pipe 100 has a shape extending in at least three directions D1, D2 and D3, the pipe 100 can be formed using only two parts (the first shell and the second shell).
[0104] Specifically, the first housing 140 may include a hook 145 hooked to the second housing 150 , and the second housing 150 may include a hook groove 155 with which the hook 145 is engaged.
[0105] The first case 140 may include a first region 141 of the first case 140 corresponding to the first body 110 and a second region 142 of the first case 140 corresponding to the second body 120 .
[0106] The second case 150 may include a first region 151 of the second case 150 corresponding to the first body 110 and a second region 152 of the second case 150 corresponding to the second body 120 .
[0107] The first region 141 of the first case 140 and the first region 151 of the second case 150 may be disposed at a position facing each other and engaged through engagement of the hook 145 and the hook groove 155 .
[0108] The second region 142 of the first case 140 and the second region 152 of the second case 150 may be disposed at a position facing each other and engaged through engagement of the hook 145 and the hook groove 155 .
[0109] The duct 100 may include a bent portion 130 provided on the first body 110 and extending in the third direction D3 (the bent portion 130 may also be referred to as a third body, but it is referred to as a bent portion hereinafter).
[0110] The bent portion 130 is a portion bent in a direction in which the first body 110 extends so as not to restrict rotation of the first spray unit 41 .
[0111] That is, as described above, when the first spray unit 41 sprays wash water through its rotation, the duct 100 may restrict the rotation of the first spray unit 41 according to the size of the inside of the washing chamber C.
[0112] The duct 100 may be radially arranged outside the first spray unit 41 through the bent portion 130, and thus the duct 100 may not restrict the rotation of the first spray unit 41. Therefore, the inside of the washing chamber C may be effectively utilized.
[0113] The first case 140 may include a third region 143 of the first case 140 corresponding to the bent portion 130 .
[0114] The second case 150 may include a third region 153 of the second case 150 corresponding to the bent portion 130 .
[0115] The third direction D3 may be defined as a direction perpendicular to the first direction D1 or the second direction D2. The bent portion 130 may extend perpendicularly to the first body 110 or the second body 120 in a direction corresponding to the third direction D3. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the bent portion 130 may extend to be inclined relative to the third direction D3.
[0116] As described above, the bent portion 130 may be formed on any one portion of the first body 110 , and thus the first body 110 may be disposed on opposite ends of the bent portion 130 .
[0117] Therefore, the duct 100 may extend from the second body 120 in the second direction D2 , extend in the first direction D1 , extend in a direction inclined to the third direction D3 , and then extend again in the first direction D1 .
[0118] It is suitable that the bent portion 130 is formed adjacent to the lower surface 12a of the liner 12. This is because when the first spray unit 41 is arranged adjacent to the lower surface 12a of the liner 12, the first spray unit 41 can rotate near the lower surface 12a of the liner 12.
[0119] However, the position of the bent portion 130 is not limited thereto, and thus the bent portion 130 of the duct 100 may extend directly from the second body 120 without being disposed on the first body 110 .
[0120] At this time, the duct 100 may extend from the second body 120 toward the second direction D2 , extend in a direction inclined to the third direction D3 , and then extend in the first direction D1 .
[0121] As described above, since the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 include the first, second, and third regions 141 , 142 , 143 , 151 , 152 , and 153 , the duct may have a shape extending in three different directions.
[0122] Since the first case 140 and the second case 150 are manufactured by the injection molding method, the first case 140 and the second case 150 having a shape extending in multiple directions may be easily manufactured.
[0123] The first case 140 and the second case 150 may include a plastic material. In addition, the first case 140 and the second case 150 may be formed of a material that is moldable using an injection molding method.
[0124] As described above, the first case 140 may include the first body 110, the second body 120, and the bent portion 130 corresponding to the first area 141, the second area 142, and the third area 143. In addition, the first case 140 may include a hook 145 configured to be hooked to the second case 150.
[0125] One side of the first housing 140 may include an open shape. That is, one open side of the first housing 140 may be coupled to the second housing 150 to form the duct flow path 101 of the duct 100 .
[0126] The upper end of the first area 141 of the first housing 140 may include a first outlet hole 111 configured to discharge wash water to the second spray unit 42. The first outlet hole 111 may communicate with the pipe flow path 101 so that wash water moving upward along the pipe 100 may flow to the outside of the pipe 100 through the first outlet hole 111.
[0127] like Figures 5 to 8 As shown, the first outlet hole 111 may be formed at the upper end of the first region 141 of the first housing 140 , and a docking portion 146 removably coupled to the second spray unit 42 may be formed at the upper end of the first region 141 of the first housing 140 .
[0128] The second spray unit 42 may include a docking piece 42 b docked to the docking portion 146 to allow wash water of the pipe 100 to flow into the second spray unit 42 .
[0129] When the middle basket 52 is pulled out, the docking piece 42b may be taken out to the outside together with the second spray unit 42, so the docking with the docking portion 146 may be released. When the docking portion 146 is inserted into the washing chamber C again, the docking piece 42b may be inserted into the inside together with the second spray unit 42, so the docking piece 42b may be docked to the docking portion 146. The docking portion 146 may have a tubular shape protruding in the second direction D2. The first outlet hole 111 may be provided at the end of the tubular shape.
[0130] The docking piece 42b may include an accommodating portion 42c, which is provided in a direction opposite to the first direction D1, and when the docking piece 42b is docked to the docking portion 146, the docking portion 146 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 42c. The accommodating portion 42c may be provided in a tubular shape including a circumference larger than that of the docking portion 146 so that the docking portion 146 can be accommodated therein.
[0131] The docking portion 146 may be inserted into the accommodation portion 42 c to connect the pipe 100 to the inside of the second spray unit 42 .
[0132] An opening and closing protrusion 146a protruding in the second direction D2 to open and close a check valve 42d provided inside the docking piece 42b when engaging with the docking piece 42b may be provided at an end of the docking portion 146. When the docking piece 42b is inserted into the cleaning chamber C and docked to the docking portion 146, the opening and closing protrusion 146a may press the check valve 42d provided inside the docking piece 42b to allow the second spray unit 42 to communicate with the pipe 100.
[0133] The check valve 42d may be configured to open and close the communication between the inside of the second spray unit 42 and the accommodating portion 42c.
[0134] When the second spray unit 42 is taken out together with the middle basket 52, the check valve 42d prevents the wash water remaining in the second spray unit 42 from being discharged to the outside through the accommodating portion 42c.
[0135] The check valve 42 d may be configured to be opened by the opening and closing protrusion 146 a when the second spray unit 42 is docked to the pipe 100 .
[0136] A sealing assembly 146 b in which a sealing member is assembled to prevent water leakage that may occur when the accommodating portion 42 c is docked to the docking portion 146 may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular shape of the docking portion 146 .
[0137] The sealing assembly 146b may be provided in an annular shape along the tubular outer peripheral surface of the docking portion 146. A sealing member may be provided in an annular shape and assembled on the sealing assembly 146b to perform sealing between the docking portion 146 and the accommodating portion 42c.
[0138] As described above, the second housing 150 may include the extension 110, the inlet portion 120, and the bent portion 130 corresponding to the first, second, and third regions 151, 152, and 153. In addition, the second housing 150 may include a hook groove 155 configured to engage with the hook 145.
[0139] One side of the second housing 150 may include an open shape. That is, one open side of the second housing 150 may be coupled to an open side of the first housing 140 to form the duct flow path 101 of the duct 100 .
[0140] The upper end of the first area 151 of the second housing 150 may include a second outlet hole 112 configured to discharge wash water to the third spray unit 43. The second outlet hole 112 may communicate with the pipe flow path 101 so that wash water moving upward along the pipe 100 may flow to the outside of the pipe 100 through the second outlet hole 112.
[0141] The second outlet hole 112 may be coupled to the upper pipe 160 . Wash water discharged from the second outlet hole 112 may flow along the upper pipe 160 to the third spray unit 43 .
[0142] As described above, the upper pipe 160 is provided separately from the first housing 140 or the second housing 150, but is not limited thereto. Therefore, the upper pipe 160 may be formed in such a manner that the upper pipe 160 extends from the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 and then is coupled to each other by the engagement of the hook 145 and the hook groove 155.
[0143] The second outlet hole 112 can be formed to point to the upper side of the upper end of the first area 151 of the second shell 150, and the guide member 156 configured to guide the docking between the second injection unit 42 and the docking portion 146 can be formed to point to the front side of the upper end of the first area 151 of the second shell 150.
[0144] When the second spray unit 42 is taken out in the second direction D2 and then inserted in the direction opposite to the second direction D2, the guide 156 can guide the docking piece 42b so that the docking piece 42b moving toward the pipe 100 according to the second spray unit 42 is accurately docked to the docking portion 146.
[0145] Specifically, the guide 156 may be formed to have a shape protruding from the second housing 150 toward the second direction D2.
[0146] The guide 156 may be provided in a pair of protrusion shapes extending from opposite sides of the second housing 150 toward the second direction D2 .
[0147] The abutment 42 b may include guide surfaces 42 e disposed at opposite sides of the abutment 42 b so as to correspond to the guide 156 and be guided by protrusions of the guide 156 provided in a pair of protrusion shapes.
[0148] The guide surfaces 42e may extend from opposite sides of the abutment 42b to the third direction D3 and a direction opposite to the third direction D3, and thus the pair of guide surfaces 42a may be provided.
[0149] The guide surface 42e may include an upper surface and a lower surface, and the docking member 42b may be guided when the guide member 156 is inserted into a space formed between the upper surface and the lower surface.
[0150] An upper surface of the guide surface 42e may be formed to be inclined upward in an opposite direction to the second direction D2, and a lower surface of the guide surface 42e may be formed to be inclined downward in an opposite direction to the second direction D2.
[0151] Therefore, the distance between the upper surface and the lower surface of the guide surface 42e may increase as directed in the opposite direction to the second direction D2.
[0152] When the abutment member 42 b moves in the opposite direction of the second direction D2 , the guide surface 42 e may move in the direction of the guide member 156 .
[0153] Since the space between the upper surface and the lower surface of the guide surface 42e moves toward the guide member 156, and the distance between the upper surface and the lower surface decreases as pointing in the second direction D2 as described above, even if the guide surface 42e moves upward or downward, the docking member 42b can be stably guided by the guide member 156 in the direction opposite to the second direction D2.
[0154] The configuration of the guide 156 is not limited to the embodiment of the present disclosure, and may be formed in the first housing 140. Alternatively, the guide 156 may be formed on both the first housing 140 and the second housing 150.
[0155] In addition, the position of the above-mentioned docking portion 146 is not limited thereto, and thus the docking portion 146 may be formed in the second housing 150 , or alternatively, the docking portion 146 may be formed by the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 .
[0156] The above configuration such as the butting portion 146, the guide 156, and the opening and closing protrusions 146a and the sealing member 146b formed in the butting portion 146 cannot be molded by the blow molding method. This is because it is difficult to perform fine molding by using the blow molding method.
[0157] However, since the duct 100 is formed in such a manner that components formed by the injection molding method are hooked to each other as shown in the embodiment of the present disclosure, various shapes can be easily formed by injection molding, and thus the docking portion 146, the guide 156, and the opening and closing protrusion 146a and the sealing assembly 146b formed in the docking portion 146 can be easily formed. In addition, components having a more complex shape than the above components can be relatively easily formed.
[0158] like Fig. 9 As shown, as described above, the second region 142 of the first housing 140 may be provided to extend in the second direction D2.
[0159] At least a portion of a surface extending in the second direction D2 in the second region 142 of the first housing 140 may include a curved surface R1 from the first direction D1 to the second direction D2.
[0160] The flow of wash water flowing in the second body 120 may be improved by the curved surface R1 of the second region 142 of the first housing 140 .
[0161] The wash water flowing from the inlet hole 121 flows in the first direction D1, and the flow direction of the wash water is changed to the second direction D2 in the interior of the second body 120. In this case, the flow direction can be smoothly guided by the curved surface R1, and thus the efficiency degradation caused by the decrease in flow velocity due to the collision between the second area 142 of the first housing 140 and the wash water can be prevented.
[0162] As described above, the second region 152 of the second case 150 may be provided to extend in the second direction D2.
[0163] At least a portion of a surface extending in the second direction D2 in the second region 152 of the second housing 150 may include a curved surface R2 from the first direction D1 to the second direction D2.
[0164] The flow of wash water flowing into the inlet portion 120 may be improved by the curved surface R2 of the second region 152 of the second housing 150 .
[0165] The washing water flowing from the inlet hole 121 flows in the first direction D1, and the flow direction of the washing water is changed to the second direction D2 in the inlet portion 120. In this case, the flow direction can be smoothly guided by the curved surface R2, and the flow of the washing water in the duct flow path 101 within the inlet portion 120 can be improved. When the duct is manufactured by the conventional blow molding method, it is difficult to realize components similar to the curved surface R1 formed in the second area 142 of the first shell 140 and the curved surface R2 formed in the second area 152 of the second shell 150. However, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the curved surface R1 formed in the second area 142 of the first shell 140 can be easily formed using an injection molding method, and thus the curved surface R1 can be accurately positioned to the position where the washing water most often collides with the second area 142.
[0166] Furthermore, by analysis, the curved surface R2 formed in the second region 152 of the second housing 150 may be easily formed using an injection molding method, and thus the curved surface R2 may be positioned at a position in the second body 120 where wash water is most easily guided.
[0167] Wash water flowing along the curved surfaces R1 and R2 in the duct flow path 101 may flow from the second body 120 to the first body 110 without pressure loss.
[0168] The second body 120 may be formed of the second region 142 of the first housing 140 and the second region 152 of the second housing 150. The inlet docking piece 122 of the second body 120 may extend downward from the second region 152 of the second housing 150 and be provided in a tubular shape.
[0169] The inlet dock 122 may be arranged to extend to the outside of the washing chamber C by passing through the lower surface 12a of the liner 12. The inlet dock 122 arranged outside the washing chamber C may be connected to the second flow path 62 so that wash water flows into the duct 100.
[0170] A portion of the second body 120 that contacts the lower surface 12 a of the liner 12 may be disposed in the annular sealing member 180 to prevent leakage of the washing chamber C.
[0171] The inlet dock 122 disposed outside the washing chamber C may be coupled to the fixing member 170. The fixing member 170 may be formed in a shape surrounding the outer peripheral surface of the inlet dock 122 having a tubular shape and fix the inlet dock 122 to the lower side of the liner 12.
[0172] The rotation protrusion 123 coupled to the coupling member 170 may be arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the inlet docking piece 122. The coupling member 170 may be coupled to the rotation protrusion 123 by rotating in the circumferential direction of the inlet docking piece 122. The coupling member 170 is coupled to the inlet docking piece 122, while supporting the lower end of the lower surface 12a of the liner 12, thereby allowing the duct 100 to be stably supported on the liner 12.
[0173] As described above, the duct 100 may be formed by the coupling of the first housing 140 and the second housing 150. Therefore, it may cause the wash water to leak to the outside of the duct flow path 101.
[0174] When the pipe is manufactured using a blow molding method or a heat bonding method according to a conventional manufacturing method, no leakage of washing water to the outside of the pipe occurs. However, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, when two components are hooked to each other, it may cause difficulty in leakage of washing water through a small gap between the two components.
[0175] To alleviate such difficulty, the duct 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a first sealing surface 144 formed in the first housing 140 and a second sealing surface 154 formed in the second housing 150 .
[0176] The ends of the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 in the second direction D2 may be provided in a closed loop shape (refer to Figure 4 ).
[0177] like Fig.10 As shown, when the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 are coupled to each other, the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 are arranged in contact with each other outside the pipe flow path 101. Therefore, the wash water can be prevented from leaking to the outside of the pipe flow path 101.
[0178] In particular, in the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 , the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 are provided in a closed loop shape at the outer side compared with the region where the pipe flow path 101 is formed.
[0179] Therefore, when the first housing 140 and the second housing 150 are coupled to each other, the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 may contact each other outside the pipe flow path 101 and in the third direction D3 and in the opposite direction of the third direction D3 with respect to the pipe flow path 101 .
[0180] The second housing 150 may include a coupling protrusion 157 that protrudes toward the second direction D2 and is provided in a closed loop shape with respect to the second direction D2.
[0181] The first housing 140 may include a coupling portion 147 including a coupling groove 147 a into which the coupling protrusion 157 is inserted in an opposite direction to the second direction D2 .
[0182] The coupling portion 147 may include a first wall 148 and a second wall 149 protruding in the opposite direction of the second direction D2 to form a concave coupling groove 147a in the second direction D2. The coupling groove 147a may be provided as a space formed between the first wall 148 and the second wall 149. The second wall 149 may be formed closer to the pipe flow path 101 than the first wall 148.
[0183] When the first housing 140 is coupled to the second housing 150 , the coupling protrusion 157 may be inserted into the coupling groove 147 a to be coupled to the coupling portion 147 .
[0184] When the coupling protrusion 157 is coupled to the coupling portion 147 , an inner surface of the coupling protrusion 157 may contact an outer surface of the second wall 149 , and an outer surface of the coupling protrusion 157 may contact an inner surface of the first wall 148 .
[0185] The first sealing surface 144 may be provided to be arranged on an outer surface of the second wall 149 , and the second sealing surface 154 may be provided to be arranged on an inner surface of the coupling protrusion 157 .
[0186] Therefore, when the coupling protrusion 157 is coupled to the coupling portion 147 , the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 may contact each other to seal the pipe flow path 101 .
[0187] As described above, the outer surface of the second wall 149 may be formed by the second sealing surface 154 , and the inner surface 149 a of the second wall 149 may form at least a portion of the duct flow path 101 .
[0188] Furthermore, an inner surface of the first wall 148 may be arranged in contact with the coupling protrusion 157 , and the hook 145 may be provided on an outer surface of the first wall 148 .
[0189] As described above, the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 may be arranged outside the duct flow path 101 in the third direction D3 and in the opposite direction of the third direction D3 with respect to the duct flow path 101 , respectively.
[0190] Therefore, when wash water flows into the duct flow path 101, the duct flow path 101 may be pressed to the outside of the duct flow path 101 by the pressure of the wash water. At this time, the duct flow path 101 may be pressed in the third direction D3 and in the opposite direction of the third direction D3, so the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 may be pressed by the duct flow path 101 toward the direction in which the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 face each other.
[0191] Therefore, the welding force in the direction in which the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 145 contact each other may be increased, and thus the sealing of the pipe flow path 101 may be performed more effectively.
[0192] As described above, the duct 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a shape extending in the first direction D1 , the second direction D2 , and the third direction D3 .
[0193] Therefore, in order to completely seal the pipe flow path 101 of the pipe 100 , the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 145 may need to extend in at least two directions.
[0194] Furthermore, as described above, since the first and second sealing surfaces 144 and 145 are required to be in a closed loop shape with respect to the second direction D2 , the shapes of the first and second sealing surfaces 144 and 145 may be important for sealing the pipe flow path 101 in three dimensions.
[0195] Therefore, if Fig.11 and Fig.12 As shown, in the first section 144a of the first sealing surface 144 arranged on the first area 141 and the third area 143 of the first shell 140, the first sealing surface 144 can be arranged to face the third direction D3 and the opposite direction of the third direction D3. In the second section 144b of the first sealing surface 144 arranged on the second area 142, the first sealing surface 144 can be arranged to face the opposite direction of the first direction D1.
[0196] Since the extension direction of the first sealing surface 144 changes between the first section 144a of the first sealing surface 144 and the second section 144b of the first sealing surface 144, the first sealing surface 144 may include a curved shape connecting the first section 144a to the second section 144b. The following is suitable, and the curved surface of the first sealing surface 144 may be formed inside the inlet portion 120.
[0197] In the first section 154a of the second sealing surface 154 arranged on the first area 151 and the third area 153 of the second shell 150, the second sealing surface 154 can be arranged to face the third direction D3 and the opposite direction of the third direction D3. In the second section 154b of the second sealing surface 154 arranged on the second area 152, the second sealing surface 154 can be arranged to face the first direction D1.
[0198] Since the extension direction of the second sealing surface 154 changes between the first section 154a of the second sealing surface 154 and the second section 154b of the second sealing surface 154, the second sealing surface 154 may include a curved shape connecting the first section 154a to the second section 154b. It is suitable that the curved surface of the second sealing surface 154 may be formed inside the inlet portion 120. In addition, the curved surface of the second sealing surface 154 may be formed to correspond to the curved surface of the first sealing surface 144.
[0199] Therefore, since the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 154 include the first sections 144 a and 154 a and the second sections 144 b and 154 b , respectively, the pipe flow path 101 can be easily sealed in three dimensions.
[0200] The first sections 144 a and 154 a of the first and second sealing surfaces 144 and 154 may be arranged to contact each other in the third direction D3 .
[0201] The second sections 144 b and 154 b of the first and second sealing surfaces 144 and 154 may be arranged in contact with each other in the first direction D1 .
[0202] Therefore, even though the duct 100 includes the shapes of the second body 120 , the first body 110 , and the bent portion 130 , the first sealing surface 144 and the second sealing surface 145 may relatively sufficiently prevent wash water from leaking from the duct flow path 101 .
[0203] Hereinafter, a duct 300 of a dishwasher 1 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. Configurations other than the configuration of the duct 300 described below are the same as those of the above embodiment, and similar descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0204] Fig.13 is an exploded perspective view of a pipe of a dishwasher according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0205] The duct 300 may be formed by hook engagement between the first housing 340 and the second housing 350 .
[0206] The duct 300 may include an extension 310 extending in a first direction D1 facing upward in a height direction of the dishwasher 1. Wash water pumped from the circulation pump 30 disposed below the washing chamber C may move upward through the extension 310 to flow to the second spray unit 52.
[0207] The extension portion 310 may include an outlet hole 311 configured to discharge wash water flowing upward along the extension portion 310. The wash water discharged through the outlet hole 311 may move to the second spray unit 42.
[0208] The first housing 340 may include a docking portion 346 in which the outlet hole 311 is disposed and to which the second spray unit 42 is docked. In addition, the first housing 340 may include a guide 347 configured to guide the docking between the second spray unit 42 and the docking portion 346.
[0209] Unlike the dishwasher 1 according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the dishwasher 1 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may not include the third spray unit. Therefore, the wash water flowing through the pipe 300 may flow only to the second spray unit 42.
[0210] Therefore, unlike the second housing 150 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the second housing 350 does not include the second outlet hole 112 .
[0211] The upper end of the second housing 350 may include an upper portion 357 which is closed to seal the upper end of the duct 300 .
[0212] The inlet portion 320 of the duct 300 may include an inlet docking piece 322 including an inlet hole. The inlet docking piece 322 may be disposed below the second housing 350. However, the position of the inlet docking piece is not limited thereto, and thus the inlet docking piece 322 may be formed in the first housing 340.
[0213] Hereinafter, a duct 400 of a dishwasher 1 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. Configurations other than the configuration of the duct 400 described below are the same as those of the above embodiment, and similar descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0214] Fig.14 is a cross-sectional view of a dishwasher according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0215] The duct 400 may be formed by hook engagement between the first housing and the second housing.
[0216] The duct 400 may include an extension portion 410 extending in a first direction D1 facing upward in a height direction of the dishwasher 1 and an inlet portion 420 extending in a second direction D2 .
[0217] The inlet portion 420 is a space into which wash water flows into the pipe 400. One end of the inlet portion 420 may be connected to the extension 410, and the other end of the inlet portion 420 extending from the one end toward the second direction D2 may be disposed inside the sump 20.
[0218] When the other end of the inlet portion 420 is disposed at one side of the inner tank 120, wash water may leak to the outside of the inner tank 120. To prevent this, the other end of the inlet portion 420 may be disposed inside the sump 20 to minimize leakage from the pipe 400.
[0219] Although several embodiments of the present disclosure have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the present disclosure, the scope of which is defined in the claims and their equivalents.
