[0009] Compared with a vehicle without a movable panel on the roof, the indoor height, which is one of the indicators of the space inside the vehicle, i.e., the maximum vertical distance from the flat floor surface near the center of the vehicle to the ceiling lining, is shortened by about 10 mm to 30 mm in a vehicle roof having a movable panel and an opening of a fixed panel, which is one of the indicators of the space inside the vehicle. Therefore, especially for tall people, there are complaints that the head clearance is small.
[0010] In addition, in recent years, electric vehicles (EVs) that have been rapidly expanding in scale have often mounted batteries under the floor, and the floor surface is accordingly located upward, and the seat surface is also moved upward, so that the head clearance of passengers is further reduced. Therefore, for vehicles with movable panels that can be opened and closed on the roof, there is a possibility that the head clearance is significantly narrowed.
[0011] In addition, from the perspective of vehicle weight reduction, it is also important to resinize the panel and miniaturize the mounting portion of the roof weather strip. Furthermore, when the roof weather strip is mounted on the resin panel by bonding, the resin panel surface needs to be degreased and primed, which makes the workability during assembly poor. In addition, in the case of double-sided tape, water leakage caused by peeling off the panel and roof weather strip due to deterioration of the tape and malfunction of the panel caused by peeling off the roof weather strip also become problems. Summary of the invention
[0012] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention of technical solution 1 is a roof weather strip installation structure, characterized in that at least two panels are arranged on the roof of the vehicle, the first panel is a movable panel configured to open and close the opening of the roof, and the second panel is a resin fixed panel fixedly arranged adjacent to the front or rear of the vehicle with respect to the first panel, and an acute-angled inclined surface is formed from the first panel side to the bottom of the vehicle in the up and down direction of the vehicle at the second panel end portion of the second panel on the first panel side, and a weather strip installation portion with a cross-section that is approximately L-shaped is formed from the second panel lower surface of the second panel toward the bottom of the vehicle and toward the first panel. The roof weather strip has: a mounting base with a cross-section that is approximately U-shaped; and a hollow sealing portion, which is connected to the mounting base, and the mounting base is mounted on the weather strip installation portion.
[0013] In the present invention of technical solution 1, a weather stripping mounting portion with a cross-section approximately in the shape of an L is formed from the lower surface of the second panel of the second panel toward the bottom of the vehicle and toward the first panel, and the roof weather stripping has: a mounting base with a cross-section approximately in the shape of a U; and a hollow sealing portion connected to the mounting base, and the mounting base is mounted on the weather stripping mounting portion. Therefore, compared with the case where the roof weather stripping is mounted by bonding, the workability during installation can be improved, and in addition, undesirable conditions such as water leakage caused by deterioration after installation based on bonding and peeling of the roof weather stripping can be eliminated.
[0014] In addition, since the weather strip mounting portion has a substantially L-shaped cross section from the lower surface of the second panel of the second panel toward the lower side of the vehicle and toward the first panel, the mounting base of the roof weather strip can be provided above the vehicle, compared with the case where the weather strip mounting portion is formed perpendicularly to the second panel. As a result, the interior height can be increased in a vehicle having an opening portion having a movable panel that can open and close the roof and a fixed panel.
[0015] In addition, an acute-angled inclined surface is formed in the vehicle vertical direction from the first panel side to the bottom of the vehicle at the second panel end portion on the first panel side, so that the hollow sealing portion can be arranged within the space formed below the vehicle on the inclined surface. As a result, when abutting against the first panel, the hollow sealing portion can be deformed without excessive buckling or other loads. In addition, the space below the vehicle on the inclined surface can be used to reduce the interval between the first panel and the second panel. In addition, the hollow sealing portion protrudes from between the first panel and the second panel to the top of the vehicle, and it is easy to control the appearance of the roof from being damaged.
[0016] Here, the "movable panel" refers to a panel that can open and close an opening formed on the roof of a vehicle and can move in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. In addition, the "fixed panel" refers to a panel that is installed on the roof of a vehicle and does not move in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. In addition, the fixed panel includes the following action, that is, when the movable panel opens the opening, the movable panel side of the fixed panel moves toward the top of the vehicle.
[0017] The present invention according to claim 2 is based on the invention according to claim 1, wherein a protrusion is formed on the weather strip mounting portion, and an engaging portion is formed inside the opening of the mounting base, and the protrusion and the engaging portion engage with each other.
[0018] In the present invention of technical solution 2, a protrusion is formed on the weather strip mounting portion, and a locking portion is formed inside the opening of the mounting base, and the protrusion and the locking portion are locked together. Therefore, when a force in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is applied to the mounting base due to deformation of the hollow sealing portion during opening and closing of the first panel, the mounting base can be prevented from moving in the front-rear direction of the vehicle.
[0019] However, the first panel can be opened and closed, but the first panel is usually left in a closed state, that is, in a state where the hollow sealing portion and the end of the first panel are in contact with each other, for a long time. Therefore, the hollow sealing portion and the end of the first panel are sometimes fixedly connected. If the first panel is opened in a state where the hollow sealing portion and the end of the first panel are fixedly connected, the hollow sealing portion is stretched in the front-to-back direction of the vehicle, and the mounting base connected to the hollow sealing portion is also stretched in the front-to-back direction, and the mounting base may fall off from the weather strip mounting portion.
[0020] In this case, since the protrusion and the engaging portion are also engaged, even when the hollow sealing portion is stretched in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the mounting base connected to the hollow sealing portion is stretched in the longitudinal direction, the mounting base can be prevented from falling off from the weather strip mounting portion.
[0021] The present invention of Technical Solution 3 is based on the invention of Technical Solution 1 or Technical Solution 2, and at least one of an upper bulge and a lower bulge is formed on the side surface of the non-opening side of the mounting base, and the hardness of the upper bulge and the lower bulge is lower than that of the parts constituting the mounting base. The upper bulge abuts against the lower surface of the second panel, and the lower bulge abuts against a shell arranged under the vehicle of the second panel.
[0022] In the present invention of technical solution 3, at least one of an upper bulge and a lower bulge is formed on the side surface of the non-opening side of the mounting base, and the hardness of the upper bulge and the lower bulge is lower than that of the member constituting the mounting base. The upper bulge abuts against the lower surface of the second panel, and the lower bulge abuts against a shell arranged below the vehicle of the second panel. Therefore, the upper bulge bends when abutting against the lower surface of the second panel, and the mounting base and the lower surface of the second panel are sealed to prevent water from entering. In addition, the upper bulge becomes a preload force at the bottom, which can stabilize the mounting position of the roof weather stripping and reliably fix the mounting base of the roof weather stripping to the weather stripping mounting portion. In addition, when the mounting base deteriorates over time, the front end portion of the opening side of the mounting base having a cross-section approximately in the shape of a letter U also expands, which can prevent the mounting base from becoming easily detached from the weather stripping mounting portion.
[0023] On the other hand, the lower bulge bends when it abuts against the shell, sealing the mounting base and the shell. When the first panel serving as a movable panel is opened, water attached to the hollow sealing portion flows downward along the surface of the hollow sealing portion and rebounds downward, thereby preventing water from penetrating into the mounting base and the shell.
[0024] In addition, in the present technical solution 3, at least one of an upper bulge and a lower bulge is formed on the side surface of the non-opening side of the mounting base, thereby including a case where only an upper bulge is formed, a case where only a lower bulge is formed, and a case where both an upper bulge and a lower bulge are formed.
[0025] Effects of the Invention
[0026] At least two panels are arranged on the roof of the vehicle, the first panel is a movable panel configured to open and close the opening of the roof, and the second panel is a resin fixed panel fixedly arranged adjacent to the front or rear of the vehicle with respect to the first panel, and an acute-angled inclined surface is formed from the first panel side to the bottom of the vehicle in the vertical direction of the vehicle at the second panel end portion on the first panel side of the second panel, and a weather stripping mounting portion with a cross-section approximately L-shaped is formed on the lower surface of the second panel of the second panel and below the vehicle, the roof weather stripping has: a mounting base with a cross-section approximately U-shaped; and a hollow sealing portion, which is connected to the mounting base, and the mounting base is mounted on the weather stripping mounting portion, so that compared with the case of mounting the roof weather stripping by bonding, the workability during installation can be improved, and in addition, it can eliminate the undesirable conditions such as water leakage and peeling of the roof weather stripping associated with deterioration after installation based on bonding.
[0027] In addition, since the weather strip mounting portion has a substantially L-shaped cross section from the lower surface of the second panel toward the lower side of the vehicle and toward the first panel, the mounting base of the roof weather strip can be provided above the vehicle, compared with the case where the weather strip mounting portion is formed perpendicularly to the second panel. As a result, the interior height of the vehicle having an opening having a movable panel that can open and close the roof and a fixed panel can be increased.
[0028] In addition, an acute-angled inclined surface is formed in the vehicle vertical direction from the first panel side to the bottom of the vehicle at the second panel end portion on the first panel side, so that the hollow sealing portion can be arranged within the space formed below the vehicle on the inclined surface. [0035] based on Figures 1 to 3 Hereinafter, the front-rear direction of the vehicle 1 is referred to as the "front-rear direction", and the upper and lower parts in the height direction of the vehicle 1 are referred to as the "upper part" and the "lower part", respectively. In addition, the width direction of the vehicle 1 is referred to as the "width direction".
[0036] Figure 1This is a top view of the roof 2 of the vehicle 1 when viewed from above the roof 2. The vehicle 1 is a sedan-type automobile, and the roof 2 is divided into four parts by panels in the front-rear direction, and is a type called a so-called panoramic roof (panoramic window roof) in which the first panel 11 is a movable panel, and the second panel 12, the third panel 13, and the fourth panel 14 are fixed panels. The first panel 11 and the third panel 13 are composed of glass plates, and by moving the cover on the inner side of the glass plate, the sense of openness in the vehicle can be improved in a wide area, and light can be taken into the vehicle. In addition, the vehicle 1 is not limited to a sedan-type automobile, and the roof 2 is not limited to a panoramic roof type.
[0037] The first panel 11 is installed so that the opening 10 can be opened and closed. That is, the first panel 11 is installed so that it can perform an inclined lifting action in which the rear portion is lifted with its front portion as a fulcrum, and a sliding action in the front and rear directions. Regarding the opening and closing action based on the first panel 11, a so-called outer sliding type is adopted in which a sliding action is performed in an inclined and raised state. The first panel 11 has a first panel edge portion 11a (11a) formed along its peripheral portion and having a substantially square ring shape and corresponding to the end portion on the second panel 12 side and made of a polyurethane resin material. Figure 3 ) In addition, the resin material of the first panel edge portion 11a is not limited to polyurethane.
[0038] On the other hand, the second panel 12 is installed in front of the first panel 11 and closes the front part of the opening 10. The second panel 12 is formed in a structure that the first panel 11 side is raised upward in order to adjust the intrusion of wind into the vehicle when the first panel 11 moves backward. In addition, the second panel 12 may also be a structure that the first panel 11 side is not raised upward.
[0039] Figure 2 2 is a cross-sectional view of a roof weather strip 20. The roof weather strip 20 includes a mounting base 21 and a hollow sealing portion 22 connected to the mounting base 21. The mounting base 21 is formed in a substantially U-shaped cross section in which a first longitudinal side 23 and a second longitudinal side 24 are connected by a connecting portion 25.
[0040] The upper bulge 28 is formed in a hemispherical shape on the outer side surface of the first longitudinal side 23 of the mounting base 21 (the side surface of the first longitudinal side 23 that is not on the opening 26 side (non-opening side)). In addition, the shape of the upper bulge 28 is not limited to a hemispherical shape. The upper bulge 28 is formed of a material having a lower hardness than the member constituting the first longitudinal side 23.
[0041] The lower bulge 29 is formed in a hemispherical shape on the outer side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 of the mounting base 21 (the side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 that is not on the opening 26 side (non-opening side)). In addition, the shape of the lower bulge 29 is not limited to a hemispherical shape. The lower bulge 29 is formed of a material with a lower hardness than the member constituting the second longitudinal side 24.
[0042] The engaging portion 27 is formed inside the opening 26 of the mounting base 21 and on the inner side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 (the side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 on the opening 26 side). The engaging portion 27 is a substantially right triangle whose protrusion relative to the inner side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 decreases as it moves away from the connecting portion 25. In addition, the hypotenuse of the substantially right triangle may be an arc.
[0043] The hollow sealing portion 22 is connected to the mounting base 21 at the first end 30 and the second end 31 as two ends, and the cross section is formed into a substantially D-shaped shape. The first end 30 is connected to a position spanning the first longitudinal side 23 and the connecting portion 25, and the second end 31 is connected to the connecting portion 25. In addition, the connection portions of the first end 30 and the second end 31 with respect to the mounting base 21 are not limited to the above-mentioned positions.
[0044] Regarding the roof weather strip 20, the Figure 2 The cross section of Figure 1 The molding is performed continuously in the width direction. Ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) is used as the material for the roof weather strip 20, a hard material is used for the mounting base 21, and a sponge material is used for the hollow sealing portion 22, the upper bulge 28, and the lower bulge 29. The hardness of the hard material is greater than or equal to 60 of the International Rubber Hardness (IRHD). In addition, the specific gravity of the hollow sealing portion 22 is greater than or equal to 0.4 and less than or equal to 1.0. In the present embodiment, a sponge material of the same hardness is used for the hollow sealing portion 22, the upper bulge 28, and the lower bulge 29. In addition, according to the contact between the upper bulge 28 and the lower surface 12b of the second panel ( Figure 3 ) and the lower bulge 29 and the housing 50 ( Figure 3 ), the hardness of the upper bulged portion 28 and the lower bulged portion 29 is preferably less than or equal to the hardness of the hollow sealing portion 22.
[0045] Figure 3 The roof weather strip 20 according to the embodiment of the present invention is mounted on the second panel 12 and the first panel 11 is closed. Figure 1AA cross-sectional view. The second panel 12 is made of resin. Regarding the second panel 12, an inclined surface 16 having an acute angle X from the first panel 11 side toward the bottom is formed at the second panel end 15 on the first panel 11 side. In addition, the angle formed by the first panel upper surface 11b of the first panel edge 11a and the second panel side surface 11c is 100 degrees. In addition, the angle formed by the first panel upper surface 11b and the second panel side surface 11c is not limited to 100 degrees.
[0046] In addition, a weather strip mounting portion 17 having a substantially L-shaped cross section is formed downward from the second panel lower surface 12b of the second panel 12 and in the direction of the first panel 11. The substantially L-shaped weather strip mounting portion 17 is composed of a protruding portion 17a protruding downward substantially vertically from the second panel lower surface 12b, and a mounting portion 17b extending substantially parallel to the second panel lower surface 12b from the lower front end portion of the protruding portion 17a, and a protruding portion 18 protruding downward and engaging with an engaging portion 27 formed on the mounting base 21 of the roof weather strip 20 is formed at the front end portion of the mounting portion 17b on the first panel 11 side. In addition, the upper bulge 28 is formed in a hemispherical shape on the outer side surface of the first longitudinal side 23 of the mounting base 21, and the upper bulge 28 is bent and abutted against the second panel lower surface 12b of the second panel 12. Therefore, in order to engage the engaging portion 27 formed on the second longitudinal side 24 with the protrusion 18, it is necessary to open the opening 26 side of the second longitudinal side 24 to allow the protrusion 18 to pass. Therefore, it is preferred that the protrusion 18 is formed on the lower side of the mounting portion 17b.
[0047] In addition, when the protrusion 18 and the locking portion 27 are locked together, if the shape of the protrusion 18 is consistent with the shape of the joint portion between the second longitudinal side portion 24 and the connecting portion 25, the mounting base 21 can be stably mounted on the mounting portion 17b. Therefore, it is preferred that the protrusion 18 is formed into a rectangle, especially a rectangular or square shape, at the front end portion of the mounting portion 17b.
[0048] The front end portion of the mounting portion 17b on the first panel 11 side is formed in such a manner that, when the mounting base 21 of the roof weather strip 20 is mounted on the mounting portion 17b, the outer side surface (non-opening side surface) of the connecting portion 25 of the mounting base 21 is located vertically below and near the connecting portion 19 between the second panel lower surface 12b and the inclined surface 16, so that the inclined surface 16 can be effectively and flexibly used to configure the hollow sealing portion 22, which is preferred. Figure 3 In the figure, the outer side surface of the connecting portion 25 of the mounting base 21 is located slightly closer to the first panel 11 than vertically below the connecting portion 19 (dash and dot line).
[0049] In the present embodiment, the angle X between the upper surface 12a of the second panel and the inclined surface 16 is 50 degrees. In addition, it is preferred that the angle X between the upper surface 12a of the second panel and the inclined surface 16 is 40 to 60 degrees. When the angle X is less than 40 degrees, the length of the inclined surface 16 can be ensured, but the hollow sealing portion 22 needs to be formed larger in the front-to-back direction, and the weight of the roof weather strip 20 increases, so it is not preferred. In addition, if the angle X exceeds 60 degrees, the space between the inclined surface 16 and the edge 11a of the first panel is reduced. Along with this, when the first panel 11 is closed, in the hollow sealing portion 22, the degree of bending of the upper end 22a during deformation increases, and the durability of the hollow sealing portion 22 is reduced, so it is not preferred.
[0050] If the roof weather stripping 20 is installed on the mounting portion 17b of the weather stripping mounting portion 17 from the opening side of the mounting base 21, the upper bulge 28 is bent above the mounting portion 17b and abuts against the first longitudinal side portion 23 of the mounting base 21 and the second panel lower surface 12b, thereby sealing the first longitudinal side portion 23 and the second panel lower surface 12b.
[0051] In addition, below the mounting portion 17b, the protrusion 18 formed on the mounting portion 17b engages with the engaging portion 27 formed on the second longitudinal side 24 of the mounting base 21. The engaging portion 27 is a nearly right triangle whose protrusion relative to the side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 decreases as it moves away from the connecting portion 25, so it is easy to insert the mounting base 21 into the mounting portion 17b from the first panel 11 side to the front.
[0052] A housing 40 is disposed below the second panel 12. A housing step portion 41 that steps downward is formed in the housing 40 on the first panel 11 side. The front end portion of the housing step portion 41 is bent at 90 degrees relative to the housing step portion 41 and extends downward.
[0053] When the case 40 is disposed, the lower bulging portion 29 bends and comes into contact with the case step portion 41 below the mounting portion 17 b , thereby sealing the space between the second vertical side portion 24 and the case step portion 41 .
[0054] When the first panel 11 is closed, the hollow seal portion 22 of the roof weather strip 20 is pressed and deformed by the first panel edge 11 a of the first panel 11 , and the hollow seal portion 22 abuts against the first panel edge 11 a of the first panel 11 and the inclined surface 16 of the second panel 12 .
[0055] In addition, the upper end portion 22a of the hollow sealing portion 22 is located below the line connecting the first panel upper surface 11b and the second panel upper surface 12a.
[0056] As described above in detail, according to this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
[0057] (1) In the present embodiment, the roof weather strip 20 includes: a mounting base 21 having a substantially U-shaped cross section; and a hollow sealing portion 22 connected to the mounting base 21. The mounting base 21 is mounted to the weather strip mounting portion 17 formed on the housing 50. Therefore, compared with the mounting of the roof weather strip 20 by bonding, the workability during mounting can be improved, and the disadvantage of deterioration after mounting by bonding can be eliminated.
[0058] (2) In the present embodiment, the hollow sealing portion 22 contacts the first panel edge 11 a of the first panel 11 and the inclined surface 16 of the second panel 12 , thereby preventing water from entering the vehicle interior from between the first panel 11 and the second panel 12 .
[0059] (3) In the present embodiment, the weather strip mounting portion 17 has a substantially L-shaped cross section extending downward from the second panel lower surface 12b of the second panel 12 and toward the first panel 11. The substantially L-shaped weather strip mounting portion 17 is composed of a protrusion 17a protruding downward substantially perpendicularly from the second panel lower surface 12b and a mounting portion 17b extending substantially parallel to the second panel lower surface 12b from the lower front end portion of the protrusion 17a. The mounting base 21 of the roof weather strip 20 is mounted to the mounting portion 17b extending substantially parallel to the second panel lower surface 12b. Therefore, compared with the case where the weather strip mounting portion 17 is formed perpendicularly to the second panel 12, the mounting base 21 of the roof weather strip 20 can be provided above the vehicle. As a result, in a vehicle having an opening portion having a movable panel that can open and close the roof and a fixed panel, the interior height can be increased.
[0060] (4) In the present embodiment, an acute-angled inclined surface 16 is formed downward from the first panel 11 side in the up-down direction at the second panel end 15 of the second panel 12, so that the hollow sealing portion 22 can be arranged within the space formed below the inclined surface 16. As a result, when the hollow sealing portion 22 abuts against the first panel 11, it is possible to deform without generating excessive bending or other loads. In addition, by utilizing the space below the inclined surface 16, the interval between the first panel 11 and the second panel 12 can be reduced. Furthermore, the upper end 22a of the hollow sealing portion 22 protrudes upward from between the first panel 11 and the second panel 12, and control can be easily performed to prevent the appearance of the roof from being damaged.
[0061] (5) In the present embodiment, a protrusion 18 protruding downward in a rectangular shape is formed at the front end portion of the mounting portion 17b of the weather strip mounting portion 17 on the first panel 11 side, and an engaging portion 27 in the shape of a nearly right triangle is formed on the inner side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 of the mounting base 21 of the roof weather strip 20, the protrusion from the side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 decreasing as it moves away from the connecting portion 25. The protrusion 18 engages with the engaging portion 27, so that it is easy to insert the mounting base 21 formed with the engaging portion 27 into the mounting portion 17b of the weather strip mounting portion 17 formed with the protrusion 18.
[0062] Furthermore, after the mounting base 21 is mounted on the mounting portion 17 b , when a force in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 1 is applied to the mounting base 21 due to deformation of the hollow sealing portion 22 when the first panel 11 is opened or closed, the mounting base 21 can be prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 1 .
[0063] In addition, usually, the first panel 11 is left in a closed state, that is, in a state where the first panel edge 11a is in contact with the hollow sealing portion 22, for a long time, and sometimes the hollow sealing portion 22 and the first panel edge 11a of the first panel 11 are fixedly connected, but in this case, the protrusion 18 and the engaging portion 27 are also engaged, so when the hollow sealing portion 22 is stretched toward the rear of the vehicle 1 and the mounting base 21 connected to the hollow sealing portion 22 is stretched toward the rear, it is also possible to prevent the mounting base 21 from falling off from the weather strip mounting portion 17.
[0064] (6) In the present embodiment, an upper bulge 28 is formed on the outer side surface of the first longitudinal side portion 23 of the mounting base 21. The hardness of the upper bulge 28 is lower than that of the components constituting the mounting base 21. The upper bulge 28 is bent and deformed toward the lower surface 12b of the second panel and abuts against it. Therefore, the side of the first longitudinal side portion 23 of the mounting base 21 is pre-tightened by the weather strip mounting portion 17, thereby stabilizing the mounting position of the roof weather strip 20.
[0065] In addition, when the first panel 11 is opened, when water accumulated in the abutting portion between the hollow sealing portion 22 and the inclined surface 16 and water attached to the hollow sealing portion 22 flows along the inclined surface 16 and the inclined surface 16 side of the hollow sealing portion 22, the upper bulge 28 also abuts against the lower surface 12b of the second panel, thereby preventing the flowing water from seeping into the space between the mounting base 21 and the weather strip mounting portion 17.
[0066] Furthermore, even when the hollow seal portion 22 deteriorates over time and water intrudes between the hollow seal portion 22 and the inclined surface 16 , it is possible to prevent water from intruding between the attachment base 21 and the weather strip attachment portion 17 .
[0067] (7) In the present embodiment, the lower bulge 29 is formed on the outer side surface of the second longitudinal side 24 of the mounting base 21. When the housing 40 is arranged below the second panel 12, the lower bulge 29 has a lower hardness than the member constituting the mounting base 21, and the lower bulge 29 is bent and deformed toward the housing step 41 of the housing 40 to abut against it. Therefore, the second longitudinal side 24 side of the mounting base 21 is pre-tightened by the weather strip mounting portion 17, and the engagement between the engaging portion 27 and the protrusion 18 can be reliably ensured. In addition, the mounting position of the roof weather strip 20 is stable.
[0068] In addition, when the first panel 11 is opened, when water accumulated in the abutting portion between the hollow sealing portion 22 and the first panel edge 11a, water attached to the hollow sealing portion 22 flows along the first panel 11 side of the hollow sealing portion 22, and when water flowing along the first panel 11 side drops and bounces downward, the lower bulge 29 also abuts against the shell step portion 41, thereby preventing the flowing water and the rebounded water from seeping into between the mounting base 21 and the shell 40.
[0069] (8) In the present embodiment, the second panel 12 is made of resin, and thus can be reduced in weight.
[0070] When implementing the present invention, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the purpose of the present invention.
[0071] The material constituting the roof weather strip 20 may be formed of thermoplastic elastomers, soft synthetic resins, etc., in addition to EPDM. As the thermoplastic elastomer, in addition to TPV, olefin thermoplastic elastomers (TPO) are also preferred from the viewpoints of weather resistance, recycling, cost, etc.
