Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Method and apparatus for high throughput preparation of a cement-based material using step-by-step dosing Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of cement production and testing and, in particular, to a method and apparatus for carrying out high throughput preparation of a cement-based material by means of step-by-step dosing. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
[0002] High-throughput preparation processes of cement-based materials are characterized by rapid research and development, low cost, high efficiency, and the like. Such a process is the basis and premise of rapid iterative optimization of cement-based materials, and is one of the important ways to promote the revolution of research and development paradigm and facilitate the rapid transformation and development of cement industry. However, due to the complexity and multiplicity of cement-based materials, the products produced therefrom have different intermediate and final products, and each step involves different raw materials, numbers, and types. The preparation process of cement-based materials has many weighing steps, and the requirements for weighing accuracy are high.Complete automation of a high-throughput preparation process for a cement-based material therefore represents a major challenge.
[0003] At present, the prior art generally uses flow valves to control the mass of the sample, but this method does not take into account problems such as the fineness and particle size of the powder. When the fineness of the powder is excessively high, the particles tend to agglomerate due to the van der Waals force, which affects the weighing accuracy, and results in excessive weighing errors, especially when the measured weight in grams is too small. In addition, an admixture such as a grinding agent, a water-reducing agent, and so on must be additionally added during the high-throughput preparation of a cement-based material, and the required mass thereof may sometimes be only about 1 g.Therefore, existing high-throughput preparation techniques are only suitable for the formulation of cement-based materials in large batches, while operations for low-mass cement-based materials for testing still rely to a large extent on semi-manual processes, and the procedure is cumbersome and prone to some human errors, which affects accuracy. tests, and seriously hinders the practical application and promotion of such techniques.

The multi-route and multi-step configurations are used to perform weighing, respectively, thereby combining coarse weighing and fine weighing. The result of the coarse weighing serves as a basis, and is corrected by means of the fine weighing.
[0040] The lowest metering device of the first column of metering groups is adapted to connect to the lowest metering device of each of the other columns of metering groups, and to connect to the mixing device, and the mixing device is connected to the storage device.

[0045] The metering device comprises a support frame and a weighing bucket, the support frame is equipped with a measuring instrument, and the upper and lower openings of the weighing bucket tube are each equipped with a flow solenoid valve;
[0046] the weighing bucket is designed to contain a solid raw material to be weighed.

[0050] The multi-channel device for raw materials comprises a plurality of primary storage compartments (i.e. PI, P2...Pn) adapted to receive raw materials of structural units in a cement-based material.
[0051] The primary storage compartments are equipped with a flow solenoid valve at their lower end and are connected to the feed control device by means of a tube.
[0052] Structural units are single-mineral, single-phase unit components of the cement-based material that retain specific hydration and hardening characteristics, or admixtures for cement concrete.
[0053] The plurality of primary storage compartments are provided to facilitate sorting and storage.
[0054] The mixing device comprises a plurality of secondary pre-loading tanks (i.e. Ql, Q2...Qn) configured to uniformly mix the raw materials from the multi-channel device for raw materials and accurately weighed by the feed control device.
[0055] The secondary pre-loading tanks contain mixing balls, and are connected to a discharge tube at their lower end, where discharge is controlled by a solenoid flow valve, and the discharge tube is covered with a screening grid.

[0058] Storage tanks facilitate the storage of a target material.
[0059] The apparatus also comprises cleaning devices, and the multi-channel device for raw materials, the feeding control device, the mixing device, and the storage device are respectively connected to the cleaning devices.
[0060] Cleaning devices are used for cleaning residual materials in the mixing device and the storage device and for pre-dispersing the materials. The cleaning devices mainly adopt gas-based cleaning. For example, an industrial blower is used.
[0061] The cleaning devices for the primary storage compartments and weighing buckets may further be used to pre-disperse the materials contained therein by means of compressed air in order to avoid excessive agglomeration.
[0062] The stepwise assay of the present invention is designed and carried out according to the following steps:
[0063] 1) design of the number of dosage groups according to the characteristics physical such as apparent (bulk) density, specific surface area and fineness of raw materials; and
[0064] 2) control of the feed rate by means of a flow valve electromagnetic and adopting multi-stage dosing to achieve precise weighing step by step.
[0065] Specifically, n parallel columns of dosing groups are preset to form a weighing sequence of "one main group and multiple auxiliary groups", wherein each column of dosing groups comprises n dosing devices, n being an integer, and n 1.
[0066] As shown in [Fig.2](a), for each column, weighing at the first-stage main dosing group gives al, and weighing at the first-stage auxiliary dosing groups gives ail, al2...aln. [Fig.2](a) shows a route diagram of the step-wise dosing in the present invention.
[0067] The next stage weighing is carried out according to the mass obtained and the mass required for a formulation ratio. For each column, weighing at the second stage dosing group provides a2, and weighing at the second stage auxiliary dosing groups provides a21, a22...a2n.
[0068] The above steps are repeated until the weighing result summarized at an + 1 at the very bottom of the first column satisfies a designed formulation ratio of the cement-based material composition.
[0069] According to the present invention, accurate weighing of the basic elements of structural units during a high-throughput preparation process can be achieved by means of step-by-step weighing, so as to rectify material weighing errors resulting from agglomeration and excessively small weighing amounts. The present invention assists the technical application and promotion of high-throughput methods in the field of cement-based materials, and makes it possible to fully demonstrate the advantages and characteristics of high-throughput experimental techniques for cement-based materials.
[0070] The method further comprises uniform mixing and storing.
[0071] Uniform mixing and storage are arranged sequentially after step weighing.
[0072] Uniform mixing allows for uniform mixing of accurately weighed raw materials, and
[0073] the storage serves to store a target material formed by uniformly mixing multiple raw materials.
[0074] In the present invention, step-by-step dosing is adopted during feeding in order to achieve precision weighing of multiple raw materials in a cement-based material.
[0075] In use, the method for high throughput preparation of a cement-based material using stepwise dosing comprises the following steps:
[0076] designing a formulation ratio based on the composition of the cement-based material,
[0077] firstly, using the multi-channel raw material device to separately feed multiple raw materials of structural units into a cement-based material,
[0078] secondly, using the feed control device to weigh the raw materials of the structural units,
[0079] then, using the mixing device to uniformly mix the accurately weighed raw materials, and
[0080] finally, receiving by the storage tank device multiple uniformly mixed raw materials, thereby forming a target material.
[0081] When the feed control device performs weighing, the number of dosing groups is predefined, in which n columns of dosing groups (i.e., multi-route) are included, each column of dosing groups has n dosing devices (i.e., multi-step), n is an integer, and n 1.
[0082] The lowest dosing device of the first column of dosing groups is adapted to connect to the lowest dosing device of each of the remaining columns of dosing groups. The adoption of step-by-step weighing is to adopt multi-route and multi-step weighing to obtain, by gradual convergence, the mass to be weighed, thereby achieving precision weighing.
[0083] In the designed formulation ratio, for a powdery raw material weighing less than 1 g, the accuracy is 0.01 g, and when the weight is between 1 g and 500 g, the accuracy is 0.2 g, and for a gravel raw material (i.e., when weighing a heavier raw material), the accuracy is 1 g.
[0084] The present invention enables precision weighing for high-throughput preparation of a small-mass cement-based material to be tested, and solves problems such as low accuracy of sample mass due to flow valve control, and dependence on manual labor for weighing a small mass, thereby reducing economic and labor costs, and improving research and development efficiency.

[0102] The assay results at a4 in Table 5 show that the errors of the weighed masses are within ±0.2 g. In addition, the slag content of cement sample S was determined and analyzed according to GB / T12960 "Quantitative Determination of Cement Components". In this method, selective dissolution is adopted for the slag component. After selective dissolution of a cement sample by a solution containing EDTA having a pH of 11.60, clinker minerals and gypsum are largely dissolved, and other components are substantially not dissolved.
