The invention is characterized in that the invention makes use of the psychological characteristics that human eyes are sensitive to the brightness imbalance of adjacent pixels and are not sensitive to the slowly changing brightness imbalance to finish smooth transition of each pixel brightness on the display and the whole screen brightness, and an adaptive way which is adopted in the smooth operation process adjusts the size of a smoothing window according to the bright imbalance situation, which possibly reduces the correctional amplitude as well as gains better uniformity correctional effect, thus decreasing the gray loss of pixel points and being beneficial to keep the images clear.
