Abstract

A method for inputting Chinese characters on numeral keys with double-initial codes of phrase conversion of radicals belongs to the technical field of Chinese character information processing and relates to conversion of Chinese character radicals into phrases, splitting and combining principles of Chinese character parts as well as arrangement of parts and strokes on the numeral keypads. The method is characterized by comprising: conversing character-forming parts and partial non-character-forming parts in normal radicals of Chinese characters into phrases and taking double-initial for coding; classifying strokes into five groups, i.e. Hen (horizontal line), Shu (top-down vertical line), Pey (left-downward slope line), Dian (right-downward point) and Zhe (zigzag). Nah (short pausing stroke) belongs to the group of Dian (right-downward point). By whether crossed through by other strokes, the five classes of strokes are divided into another five stroke groups containing cross strokes, i.e. cross-Hen, cross-Shu, cross-Pey, cross-Dian (cross-Nah) and cross-Zhe. Therefore, ten classes of strokes are got. All Chinese characters can be input with the basic pinyin method and the ten strokes. At the most, six key-in operations are required to input a single character or a multi-character phrase. The code coincidence rate is low, so blind input can be realized.
