Abstract

The invention relates to a printer. Recording paper is removed during midway printing from a printer which enables the reel-shaped recording paper to move in a reciprocating way and repeatedly prints the reel-shaped recording paper when the recording paper is printed again from the residual state on the midway printing. A storage mechanism (30 b) used for storing the printing state is arranged inthe printer which prints the reel-shaped recording paper, cuts the recording paper into specific length and discharges the recording paper outside after printing; and when an electric power source isswitched on, the recording paper is discharged outside in considerably maximum printing length and then is cut off under the circumstance of unfinished state of the previous printing, according to theprinting state stored in the storage mechanism as well as referring to the previous printing state.
