Abstract

The invention discloses a behind-the-neck transverse connector with a lower opening, which consists of two transverse connection components and a transverse-passing transverse connection bar which are mutually connected. Each transverse connection component comprises a transverse connection body, a pressing sleeve and a jack screw, wherein the upper part of the transverse connection body is an upper adapting head part with a threaded hole; seen from the front side, two sides of the lower part of the upper adapting head part are provided with elastic clips for clasping longitudinal connection bars; seen from the side direction, the middle part of the transverse connection body is provided with a through hole for the transverse connection bar to pass; the pressing sleeve is sleeved on the elastic clips at two sides of the transverse connection body; and the jack screw is screwed into the threaded hole of the upper adapting head part of the transverse connection body to lock each part ofthe transverse connection components. The behind-the-neck transverse connector with low incisure and the lower opening can overcome the defects of the prior art, is convenient for a doctor to carry out orthopaedic operation of the neck, and relatively reduces the wound to a patient.
