Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for reducing time of transient interruption of subnetwork connection protection service. The method comprises the following steps: after a head node and a tail node are configured with subnetwork connection protection service, if the fact that a working routeway fails on the head node or the tail node is detected, controlling the node to switch service to a protecting path, and controlling the node to send warning information switched to the protecting path to an opposite-end node.
