Abstract

Disclosed are methods and systems for transmission of uplink control information and feedback for carrier aggregation systems. The user equipment device may be configured to use one or more uplink component carriers to transmit uplink control information and other feedback for several downlink component carriers. The user equipment device may be configured to transmit these data using the physical uplink control channel instead of the physical uplink shared channel. The user equipment device may be configured to determine the uplink control information and feedback data to transmit, the physical uplink control channel resources to transmit the uplink control information and feedback data, and how the physical uplink control channel may be to transmit uplink control information and feedback data.
