The light emitting unit (200) is provided with a semiconductor light emitting element (210) which is disposed so that the optical axis of light to be emitted is inclined with respect to the axis perpendicular to the inner wall surface on which the light emitting unit (200) is disposed, and a cover member (220) having a transmission portion (221) through which light to be emitted by the semiconductor light emitting element (210) is transmitted.
