Abstract

On the basis of tests on a large number of samples, the density and the acoustic velocity of the ash, the fixed carbon and the volatile components are calibrated with the enumeration method. The method provides most basic parameters for well logging interpretation of coal seams in the exploration and development process of coal field and coal seam gas, and a basis is laid for quantitative interpretation of the physical properties of the coal quality and the coal reservoir, and the coal seam gas content.
