Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a sidebar menu display method and apparatus, and a terminal. The method comprises the steps of receiving slide operation sliding from a sidebar of a screen; detecting whether the slide operation accords with preset conditions which include the slide speed of the slide operation is greater than a preset threshold value and the ending position of the slide operation is not positioned in a preset mistaken touch area; and displaying a sidebar menu corresponding to the side of the screen if the detection result shows that the slide operation accords with the preset conditions. The invention helps to solve the problems of the prior art that a user is not informed and triggers and displays a notification bar by mistake to cause maloperation. The sidebar menu is triggered and displayed only when the slide operation is the quick slide operation and the ending position of the slide operation is not positioned in the mistaken touch area, thereby preventing the sidebar menu from being triggered and displayed when the user is not informed to cause maloperation.
