The method includes acquiring a pair of video frame images, including a first image and a second image, to be compared through a browser of the terminal from the network side; pre-uploading the first and second images to the network side; allowing the image contents of the first and second images to be the same and to be acquired from a first video file and a second video file which are acquired by different encoding manners and processing from the same video contents; in the video comparing interface provided by the browser, jointing and displaying the first and second images to allow a user to compare the video qualities. Compared with the prior art limited by the signal computer environment, the method has the advantage that the method is capable of being adaptive to the team coordinated working scene of a network platform.
