The dormitory management method comprises: a user client sends user check-in application information to a server; the server receives the user check-in application information sent by the user client, and inquires whether accommodation information of a user exists in an accommodation database; if the accommodation information of the user exists in the accommodation database, the server feeds back the condition, that user checks in a dormitory, to the user client, and ends the check-in application process; if the accommodation information of the user does not exist in the accommodation database, the server generates a user accommodation information list; the server sends the user accommodation information list to the user client, and inquires whether the user client checks in an assigned room; and the user client receives the user accommodation information list sent by the server, and confirms whether to check in the assigned room for the server.
