The invention discloses a method for measuring the energy consumption of driving behaviors of a motor vehicle driver. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the parameters of energy consumption features of driving behaviors, dividing running conditions of a vehicle, establishing a comprehensive measuring model structure of the energy consumption features of the driving behaviors, establishing a relation model between the driving behaviors and the energy consumption of the vehicle, determining the parameter threshold value of optimal driving behaviors under the constraints of energy consumption, adopting the form of score evaluation to conduct hierarchical computing on the energy consumption features of the driving behaviors of a driver under different running conditions. According to the invention, the method is conducted on the basis of the difference between the current driving behavior under different running conditions and the parameter threshold value of the optimal driving behavior by taking into full consideration of the differences of road conditions, traffic and working conditions during the running of the vehicle, can accurately describe the features of energy consumption of the driving behaviors during the driving of the driver, and further provides scientific methods and tools in the fields like driver evaluation and examination, driving behavior differentiation and feedback, driver training and optimization, etc.
