The capacity expansion configuration file generation method comprises the steps of: judging whether an obtained cell capacity expansion parameter satisfies a pre-set capacity expansion parameter constraint condition or not; if so, determining the cell hardware specification after capacity expansion according to the cell capacity expansion parameter; and, if the fact that the cell hardware specification after capacity expansion satisfies a pre-set hardware specification constraint condition, generating a cell capacity expansion configuration file according to the cell capacity expansion parameter. By means of the method, before the cell capacity expansion configuration file is generated, the fact that the cell hardware specification after capacity expansion satisfies the pre-set hardware specification constraint condition is ensured; therefore, the capacity expansion success rate is increased; and resources are saved.
