The processor is used for executing following steps: receiving a starting instruction for starting a photographing application input by a user, starting a front camera and a rear camera at the same time according to the starting instruction, recognizing a camera used when the photographing application is closed last time, previewing images collected by the camera used when the photographing application is closed last time, recognizing images collected by the other camera, respectively judging the images collected by the front camera and the rear camera meet preset conditions or not, selecting the camera meeting the preset conditions for previewing according to a judgment result and turning off the camera not meeting the preset conditions. In this way, the camera that the user needs to use can be recognized automatically, and previewing can be realized, so that the user does not need to input selecting operation, and photographing efficiency of the mobile terminal is improved.
