Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method in a vehicle and an apparatus for a vehicle for transferring playback of media content between a mobile device and the vehicle. The method includes detecting playback of media content on a mobile device and retrieving the media content played back on the mobile device. The captured media content is then played back on the vehicle synchronously with the playback of the media content on the mobile device. Next, a first message is sent to the mobile device instructing the mobile device to pause playback of its media content.
