Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for picking up the primary arrival of seismic waves. The method includes the steps of determining a first primary-arrival set of a plurality of seismic trace data which satisfy a specified condition; carrying out fitting treatment on apparent velocities respectively corresponding to a plurality of primary arrivals and offset distancescorresponding to the plurality of seismic trace data, determining target time window ranges respectively corresponding to the plurality of seismic trace data according to the fitting result, determining a second primary-arrival set of a plurality of seismic trace data, determining a target time window range and a second primary-arrival set through iteration until the absolute value of the difference between the primary arrival values of adjacent seismic trace data in the second primary-arrival set is smaller than a preset time difference threshold value; determining final time window ranges respectively corresponding to the plurality of seismic trace data, determining a target primary arrival set of the plurality of seismic trace data so as to enable the target primary arrival set to meetthe specified condition, and enabling the absolute value of the difference between the primary arrival values of adjacent seismic trace data to be smaller than the preset time difference threshold value. The precision of the primary arrival of picked-up seismic waves can be improved.
