Abstract

The present application discloses a synchronization method and device. The method includes that a terminal transmits a first uplink signal to a network device at a supplementary uplink resource and receives the indication information returned by the network device, so that the frequency synchronization with the supplementary uplink resource can be obtained according to a frequency deviation valueindicated by the indication information. That is, the terminal in the present application acquires the frequency synchronization with the supplementary uplink resource according to the indication information sent by the network device, and does not completely depend on a synchronization signal received on the downlink resource. Therefore, when the synchronization method is applied to an NR-LTE coexistence case, an NR terminal can obtain the frequency synchronization with the supplementary uplink resource according to the indication information, so that the uplink signals between different terminals are orthogonal to each other in the frequency domain, and do not interfere with each other or affect the uplink transmission performance of an LTE terminal on the supplemental uplink resource.
