Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for table item migration and a network communication system, and relates to the technical field of communication. The method comprises: through issuing a FDB table item that is obtained by active learning of a first switch chip to a second switch chip by using a dynamic address, setting the FDB table item on the second switch chip to be in a non-aging state; when a notification that the second switch chip needs to migrate the FDB table item according to a received message is received, migrating the FDB table item, so as to prevent processor bandwidth of a system from being occupied during a table item migration process, and be benefit for improving efficiency of table item migration. In addition, since the state of non-aging of the terminal address is set, the terminal address is not aged, thereby preventing a problem that the processing efficiency of the FDB table item is low since the terminal address is aged and failed and the FDB table item needs remigration.
