Abstract

The embodiment of the application discloses a communication method and device, which relates to the field of communication, and may avoid the problem that the communication service of the user is damaged because RNC devices continuously try to establish a connection with a core network. The communication method is applied to a communication network including a first wireless control device, a second wireless control device, an access network device and a core network device, wherein the first wireless control device and the second wireless control device share the same interface of the core network device . The communication method comprises the steps of: in a case where a heartbeat link between the first wireless control device and the second wireless control device is disconnected, the first wireless control device determining whether the first wireless control device and the access network device are disconnected; and if the first wireless control device determines that it is disconnected from the access network device, the first wireless control device stopping sending link establishment requests to the core network device.
