Abstract

The invention discloses a thermostatic valve, a thermostatic valve control method and a water heater. The thermostatic valve comprises a motor, a valve body, a valve rod, a rotating assembly, a rotation limiting assembly and an electric control component, wherein a water mixing cavity with a hot water valve port and a cold water valve port is defined by the valve body; the valve rod is movably arranged in the valve body, so that the opening degrees of the hot water valve port and the cold water valve port are changed; the motor drives the rotating assembly to rotate; the rotating assembly is connected with the valve rod so as to drive the valve rod to move; the rotating assembly comprises a cam; the rotation limiting assembly comprises a zero switch; and the electric control component is in circuit connection with the motor and the zero switch and is used for controlling the motor to stop rotating according to an electric control signal generated by contact between the cam and the zeroswitch. According to the thermostatic valve, the position of the valve rod in the valve body is changed by the motor, so that the opening degrees of the hot water valve port and the cold water valveport are changed; rotation of the motor is controlled through the zero switch; when the cam is in contact with the zero switch, the valve rod stays at the position in which the hot water valve port isclosed.
