Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of automatic cleaning of vehicle radiators, and more specifically, to an automatic cleaning system and method for an off-road vehicle radiator. Background Art
[0002] Military off-road engines generally use internal combustion engines. Part of the fuel used by the engine is converted into heat, so the engine needs to be cooled to ensure that it works at an appropriate temperature. The radiator is used to cool the engine. Due to their own characteristics, military off-road vehicles often travel in relatively harsh working conditions. The radiator is often covered with dust or adhered to debris, resulting in insufficient heat dissipation performance of the engine radiator, affecting the engine's power. Designing a device that automatically cleans the radiator can solve the problem of off-road vehicles easily clogging the radiator in complex environments.
[0003] The prior art has the following disadvantages: (1) When dust affects the heat dissipation performance of the radiator, it is generally necessary to disassemble it and manually flush it with a high-pressure water gun, which is time-consuming and cumbersome to operate; (2) When an automatic cleaning device is used, it is difficult to ensure the cleaning effect because the cleaning wind direction or sweeping action is fixed. Summary of the invention
[0004] In view of the above defects or improvement needs of the prior art, the present invention provides an automatic radiator cleaning system and method for an off-road vehicle. The cleaning system includes a conversion gear train, an electromagnetic telescopic valve, a mechanical fan, a washing pot, a wind pressure sensor and a water pump. The conversion gear train is connected to the engine for transmitting power to the mechanical fan. A forward gear set and a reverse gear set are provided in the conversion gear train. The two gear sets are used alternately to change the direction of power output from the conversion gear train to the mechanical fan, thereby achieving a better cleaning effect. Detergent solution is stored in the washing pot. Before the mechanical fan works, the detergent solution is pumped to the nozzle at the end through a water pipe by a water pump, and the high-pressure water flow is finally sprayed onto the radiator to wet and clean the dust thereon. The wind pressure sensor can detect the wind pressure near the radiator to help people in the vehicle determine whether the radiator is attached with too much dust and blocked, thereby solving the problems of poor vehicle radiator cleaning effect and inability to monitor radiator performance in real time.
[0005] In order to achieve the above object, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided an automatic radiator cleaning system for an off-road vehicle, comprising:
[0006] A mechanical fan, an electromagnetic telescopic valve, a washing pot, a water pump and a conversion gear train, wherein the washing pot stores a washing solution, and the water pump is connected to the washing pot and is used to pump the washing solution to the radiator;
[0007] The conversion gear train includes a first transmission shaft, a second transmission shaft and a third transmission shaft, and the axes of the three are arranged in parallel. The first transmission shaft is provided with a first gear and a second gear. The first transmission shaft is connected to the mechanical fan shaft and is the power output shaft of the conversion gear train. The second transmission shaft is provided with a third gear and a fifth gear. The second transmission shaft is connected to the engine shaft and is the input shaft of the conversion gear train power. The third transmission shaft is provided with a fourth gear. The second gear is meshed with the fifth gear, and the fourth gear is meshed with the first gear. The electromagnetic telescopic valve is used to push the second transmission shaft to slide axially, so that the third gear is meshed with the fourth gear, and the second gear is disengaged from the fifth gear.
[0008] Furthermore, it includes a paddle, which is fixedly mounted on the electromagnetic telescopic valve, and an annular groove is provided on the second transmission shaft. The paddle is in contact with and connected to the annular groove to push the second transmission shaft to slide axially.
[0009] Furthermore, it includes a wind pressure sensor and a controller, the controller is respectively connected to the electromagnetic telescopic valve, the water pump and the wind pressure sensor signal, and is used to control the water pump switch and the extension and retraction of the electromagnetic telescopic valve. The wind pressure sensor is arranged between the radiator and the mechanical fan, and is used to detect the wind pressure and send the value to the controller.
[0010] Furthermore, it comprises a nozzle and a water pipe, wherein the water pipe is used to connect the water pump and the nozzle, and the nozzle sprays the cleaning solution onto the radiator.
[0011] Furthermore, it comprises a wind shield, the radiator is arranged at one end of the wind shield, the mechanical fan is arranged at the other end, and the wind shield is used to increase wind pressure.
[0012] Furthermore, it comprises a connecting plate, which is arranged at the connection between the second transmission shaft and the engine shaft to prevent dust and debris from entering.
[0013] According to another aspect of the present invention, a method for using the automatic radiator cleaning system for an off-road vehicle is provided, comprising the following steps:
[0014] S100, detecting whether the radiator is blocked, the wind pressure sensor detects the wind pressure at the radiator and sends the detected value to the controller, the controller compares the detected wind pressure value with the preset value and sends the comparison result to the control console.
[0015] S200, cleaning the radiator. The person in the car issues a command to start cleaning to the controller through the control panel. After receiving the command, the controller sends a signal to start the water pump. The water pump pumps the detergent solution in the washing pot to the water pipe. After the water pipe guides the detergent solution to the radiator, the detergent solution is sprayed on the radiator through the nozzle to moisten and rinse the dust and debris on the radiator.
[0016] S300, adjust the mechanical fan to rotate in the opposite direction to clean the radiator. The person in the car issues a command to switch the direction to the controller through the console. The controller sends an electrical signal to the electromagnetic telescopic valve, which retracts, driving the paddle to contact and push the annular groove, pushing the second transmission shaft, so that the second gear and the fifth gear are disengaged, and the third gear and the fourth gear are engaged. After the adjustment is completed, the controller sends an electrical signal to the water pump to stop it, and then the vehicle engine starts to work and inputs power through the second transmission shaft. The fourth gear will drive the first gear to rotate, and finally drive the mechanical fan to rotate in the opposite direction through the first transmission shaft. The mechanical fan creates wind pressure on one side of the radiator to clean the radiator.
[0017] S400, adjust the mechanical fan to rotate forward to clean the radiator. After the mechanical fan rotates in the reverse direction to clean, the engine stops working. The person in the car issues a command to switch the direction to the controller through the console. The controller sends an electrical signal to the electromagnetic telescopic valve, which extends to drive the paddle to contact and push the annular groove, causing the second transmission shaft to slide axially, the fourth gear and the third gear to disengage, the second gear and the fifth gear to engage, and then the engine is started to drive the second transmission shaft to rotate. [0027] In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more clearly understood, the present invention is further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are only used to explain the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention. In addition, the technical features involved in the various embodiments of the present invention described below can be combined with each other as long as they do not conflict with each other.
[0028] like Figure 1-Figure 3 As shown, the present invention provides an automatic cleaning system for an off-road vehicle radiator, comprising a radiator 1, a wind shield 2, a mechanical fan 3, an electromagnetic telescopic valve 13, a water pump 16, a wind pressure sensor 17 and a conversion gear train 20, wherein one end of the wind shield 2 is fixed to the radiator 1, and the mechanical fan 3 is fixed to the other end of the wind shield 2. When dust accumulates on the radiator 1, the mechanical fan 3 is started to blow air, and the air flow forms a wind pressure on one side of the radiator 1 along the air supply channel formed in the wind shield 2, thereby cleaning the radiator 1, and the conversion gear train 20 and the mechanical fan 3 are connected. The fan 3 is connected in transmission to provide power for it. Since the cleaning effect of blowing air in a single direction is limited, the output direction of the conversion gear train 20 can be regulated by the electromagnetic telescopic valve 13, so as to realize the forward and reverse rotation of the mechanical fan 3 and better clean the radiator 1. In order to prevent the strong adhesion of stains, a water pump 16 and a wind pressure sensor 17 are also provided. The former is used to spray water to the radiator 1 to enhance the cleaning effect, and the wind pressure sensor 17 is used to sense the size of the wind pressure to realize the function of automatic monitoring, which solves the problems of poor cleaning effect of the vehicle radiator and inability to monitor the radiator performance in real time.
[0029] like Figure 1 and Figure 2As shown, the conversion gear train 20 includes a first gear 4, a first transmission shaft 5, a second gear 6, a second transmission shaft 7, a connecting plate 8, a third transmission shaft 9, a third gear 10, a fourth gear 11 and a fifth gear 14, wherein the second transmission shaft 7 is connected to the engine output end for transmitting power to the conversion gear train 20, a connecting plate 8 is provided at the connection between the second transmission shaft 7 and the engine output end, the connecting plate 8 is used for sealing to prevent dust from entering, a third gear 10 and a fifth gear 14 are also provided on the second transmission shaft 7 for respectively realizing reverse and forward power transmission, further, the first transmission shaft 5 is arranged parallel to the axis of the second transmission shaft 7, the end of the first transmission shaft 5 is connected to the mechanical fan 3 for driving the mechanical fan 3 to rotate, a first gear 4 and a second gear 6 are provided on the first transmission shaft 5 along the axis, wherein the second gear 6 is meshedly connected with the fifth gear 14 for outputting power to the first transmission shaft 5, the second gear 6 is a driving wheel for the first transmission shaft 5 to rotate, thereby driving the mechanical fan 3 to rotate forward, further, the first transmission shaft 5 and A third transmission shaft 9 is also provided between the second transmission shafts 7, and the third transmission shaft 9 is parallel to the axes of the two. A fourth gear 11 is provided on the third transmission shaft 9, and the gear is kept in meshing state with the first gear 4. When it is necessary to change the rotation direction of the mechanical fan 3, the second transmission shaft 7 is slid axially so that the fifth gear 14 is disengaged from the second gear 6, and the third gear 10 in the idling state slides to a state of meshing with the fourth gear 11. At this time, the third gear 10 drives the fourth gear 11 to rotate, and the fourth gear 11 drives the first gear 4 to rotate. At this time, the first gear 4 is the driving wheel driving the first transmission shaft 5 to rotate. Compared with the case where the second gear 6 is the driving wheel, the rotation direction of the first gear 4 is opposite to that of the second gear 6. Therefore, the mechanical fan 3 can be driven to rotate in the opposite direction. The second gear 6 and the fifth gear 14 form a forward gear set, and the first gear 4, the third gear 10 and the fourth gear 11 form a reverse gear set. By alternating the forward and reverse transmission of the two gear sets, the wind direction of the mechanical fan 3 can be changed to achieve a better cleaning effect on the radiator 1.

Preferably, the annular groove is provided between the third gear 10 and the fifth gear 14, and the paddle 12 contacts the side wall of the annular groove. Driven by the electromagnetic telescopic valve 13, the paddle 12 can push the two opposite side walls of the annular groove, thereby pushing the second transmission shaft 7 to slide axially, thereby achieving the purpose of controlling the steering of the first transmission shaft 5 and the mechanical fan 3 through the controller 18.
[0031] Furthermore, if Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the cleaning system further includes a washing pot 15, a water pump 16, a wind pressure sensor 17 and a control console 19, wherein the washing pot 15 stores a detergent solution, and the water pump 16 can pump the detergent solution in the washing pot 15 to the radiator 1, and wet and clean the dust and debris on the surface thereof by spraying water at high pressure. Preferably, the water pump 16 pumps the detergent solution through a water pipe, and a spray head is installed at the end of the water pipe to improve the cleaning and wetting efficiency. Furthermore, the water pump 16 communicates with the controller 18 by signal exchange, and the controller 18 sends a start and stop signal to control the water pump 16. The switch of the pump 16, further, the wind pressure sensor 17 and the controller 18 communicate with each other in signal. The wind pressure sensor 17 is arranged between the radiator 1 and the mechanical fan, and is used to sense the wind pressure on the radiator 1 and transmit the data signal to the controller 18. The controller 18 can compare the detected value with the preset value, and transmit the comparison result to the control console 19. The control console 19 is connected with the controller 18 by signal and can receive wind pressure information. The people in the car can control the water pump 16 and the electromagnetic telescopic valve 13 through the control console 19 to realize the monitoring and automatic cleaning of the radiator 1 status.
