Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Fine jewelry piece with means of payment
[0001] The invention relates to the field of jewelry, in particular bracelets and rings and pendants.
[0002] The Applicant has observed profound developments in the field of fine jewelry with regard to materials and shapes. However, one constant is that fine jewelry is non-functional in the sense that it has no technical function for the wearer of said jewelry. A piece of jewelry may be provided with mechanisms such as a clasp whose purpose is to put the jewelry in place or hold it in place. These are functions subordinate to the ornamental function.
[0003] US 11083256 proposes a ring whose inner surface is hollow in cross-section to form an annular channel. An NFC transponder comprising a coil-shaped antenna etched on a flexible substrate formed into a cylindrical shape is installed in the annular channel. A resin seal encapsulates the NFC transponder and the flexible substrate. However, a ring model is manufactured in several sizes for different finger diameters. Each size corresponds to a particular resin seal, NFC transponder and flexible substrate. This significantly complicates manufacturing. In addition, the signal emitted by the antenna arranged in the annular channel inside the ring is poorly transmitted. This imposes constraints on the choice of the material constituting the ring, the shape of the ring and its dimensions due to the dimension of the NFC transponder and the substrate. The antenna of the NFC transponder goes around the ring. However, the choice of material, shape and dimensions is of great importance for a piece of jewelry and is a matter of artistic creation. Imposing such constraints is therefore a significant disadvantage.
[0004] The Applicant has designed and developed a piece of jewelry provided with a means of payment independent of the size of the jewelry and respecting the freedom of ornamental design of the jewelry while offering quality transmission.
[0005] The invention provides a piece of jewelry, in particular a ring or bracelet or pendant, comprising a body having an inner surface, an outer surface and a lumen passing through the body from the inner surface to the outer surface, the body being made of a material chosen from: gold, silver, platinum, titanium, palladium, steel or vermeil; an outer shell forming part of the outer surface of the piece of jewelry and in contact with the body, the outer shell being made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stone, leather; an inner shell forming part of the inner surface and in contact with the body, a closed housing being provided between the outer shell and the inner shell substantially in line with or in the lumen, the housing being in the form of an arc of a circle, the shell internal being made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stone, leather; a flexible tag placed in the housing and comprising an electronic chip and an antenna arranged around the electronic chip, and a screw holding together the external shell and the internal shell. The body can be made of a wide range of materials, including precious metals. The dimensions of the tag are maintained from one size to another of a model of jewelry, and for several models of jewelry. The tag is hidden within the jewelry and thus offers a lack of visual and aesthetic impact.
[0006] In one embodiment, two lumens are provided passing through the body from the inner surface to the outer surface, the two lumens being separated by a crosspiece forming part of the ring body. Signal transmission is preserved and mounting is facilitated.
[0007] In one embodiment, the screw is engaged in the crosspiece. The assembly is simple and robust.
[0008] In one embodiment, the screw is engaged in the body adjacent to one edge of the lumen, with an additional screw being engaged in the body adjacent to an edge of the lumen on the opposite side. The lumen may be large.
[0009] In one embodiment, the screw cooperates with a threaded bore provided in the body or with a nut. The assembly is robust.
[0010] In one embodiment, the body is a single piece. The mechanical strength is satisfactory.
[0011] In one embodiment, the outer shell has a thickness of between 1.0 and 3.0 mm.
[0012] In one embodiment, the inner shell has a thickness of between 1.0 and 2.0 mm. This results in great ornamental freedom.
[0013] In one embodiment, said precious, fine or ornamental stone is chosen from: • Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, • Beryl, including emerald, aquamarine, heliodor, morganite, • Tourmaline, including verdelite, rubellite, paraiba, indicolite, schorl, • Topaz, notably sky blue topaz, swiss blue topaz, London blue topaz, • Garnet, including demantoid garnet, almandine garnet, tsavorite garnet, spessartite garnet, hessonite garnet, rhodolite garnet, pyrope garnet, • Quartz, including cat's eye quartz, hawk's eye quartz, tiger's eye quartz, bull's eye quartz, aventurine, amethyst, citrine, prasiolite, rose quartz, blue quartz, red quartz, smoky quartz, • Chalcedony including agate, chrysoprase, carnelian, onyx, sardonyx, pietersite, • Jasper, including red jasper, blood jasper, heliotrope jasper, • Feldspars including amazonite, moonstone, labradorite, sunstone, • Opal, including fire opal, cacholong, noble opal, • Jade including jade, jadeite, nephrite jade, charoite, • Peridot, tanzanite, iolite, zircon, kyanite, spinel, rock crystal, kunzite, sodalite, azurite, turquoise, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, malachite, chrysocolla, sugilite, chrysoberyl, andalusite, diopside, pinolite, lapis lazuli, • Mother-of-pearl, coral, amber, silicified wood.
[0014] In one embodiment, the electronic chip forms a protrusion relative to the antenna and the external shell has a local concavity corresponding to said protrusion. The size is optimized.
[0015] In one embodiment, the body has a plane of symmetry passing through the axis of said ring and has on its outer surface a step adapted to the outer shell. The outer surface of the part is substantially smooth.
[0016] In one embodiment, the body is a ring body.
[0017] In one embodiment, the tag is removable.
[0018] In one embodiment, the tag is hidden by the rest of the jewelry.

[0040] In the field of jewelry, respect for the artistic freedom of the creator of the object is a basis. Conventionally, artistic freedom was tempered by the mechanical limits of the materials used. The search for boldness of forms led to the development of more resistant materials. Simultaneously, the implementation of original, often fragile, materials was also desired.
[0041] Then the miniaturization of communication electronics made it possible to incorporate it into a piece of jewelry. However, the requirements for data throughput and transmission quality are high, especially since a high-quality piece of jewelry cannot be satisfied with low-end transmission. Taking into account the analysis it had thus made, the Applicant developed a piece of jewelry adapted to high-performance radio communication electronics. The Applicant identified several difficulties. The metal constituting the majority of the volume of a piece of jewelry generally forms a poor transmitter of radio waves, or even constitutes a screen that strongly attenuates the waves.
[0042] Furthermore, a piece of jewelry sometimes includes other non-metallic materials. The Applicant sought to take advantage of said non-metallic materials to promote the transmission of radio waves despite the use of precious metals.
[0043] Thus, the piece of jewelry 1 has a generally annular shape. It may be a ring. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a ring body 2. The ring body 2 is structural in that it gives the piece of jewelry 1 its general shape. The ring body 2 has a bore 3 or inner surface, an outer surface 4 and a lumen 5 passing through the ring body 2 from the bore 3 to the outer surface 4. The edges 6 of the ring body 2 have a free annular shape. Here, the edges 6 of the ring body 2 are rounded. In other words, the ring body 2 has a common branch and two branches 8, 9 axially spaced apart along the axis of the ring, the two distant branches joining the common branch at each of their ends, see [Fig.3].
[0044] In the illustrated embodiment, the ring body 2 is a single-piece annular body. The ring body 2 is symmetrical with respect to a plane normal to the axis of the bore 3. The ring body 2 has a first solid portion, in the lower part of the figures, and a second portion, in the upper part of the figures. The first portion has a thickness in the variable radial direction with a minimum at a distance from the second portion. The second portion comprises the two axially spaced branches 8, 9 delimiting the light 5. Each branch 8, 9 has an arc shape. In cross section, the branch 8, 9 has a rounded section towards the edge 6 and towards the bore 3. Opposite the bore 3, the section of the branch 8, 9 is, here, straight, in particular parallel to the axis of the bore 3. Towards the light 5, the section of the branch 8, 9 is straight, for example oriented radially. At least one step may be provided to facilitate the positioning and holding of other members below. The step is provided on the edge of the light opposite the bore 3 and the edge 6, continuously or discontinuously, for example on the branches 8, 9.
[0045] The branches 8, 9 have a thickness less than the thickness of the first portion, at least in the vicinity of said first portion. A substantially radial surface 7 is thus formed between the first portion and the second portion on each side of the ring body 2. A concavity 17 may be provided in said substantially radial surface 7. The concavity 17 matches the shape of the ring body 2. The concavity 17 is blind.
[0046] The ring body 2 may be made of a material that prevents the transmission of radio waves. The ring body 2 is made of a material chosen from: gold, silver, platinum, palladium, vermeil, titanium, steel.
[0047] The piece of jewelry 1 comprises an outer shell 10 forming a part of the outer surface 4 of the piece of jewelry 1 and in contact with the ring body 2. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises an inner shell 11 forming a part of the surface of said bore 3 and in contact with the ring body 2. A housing 12 closed in the mounted state is provided between the outer shell 10 and the inner shell 11 substantially in line with or in the light 5. The housing 12 is in an arc of a circle. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a flexible tag 13 arranged in the housing 12. The tag 13 comprises an electronic chip 14 and an antenna 15 arranged around the electronic chip 14.
[0048] The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a screw 20 holding the outer shell 10 and the inner shell 11 together. In the embodiment shown, a nut 21 is additionally provided forming a bolt with the screw 20. The screw 20 has a thin head. The screw 20 is brought in from the inside of the ring body 2. The nut 21 is brought in from the outside. The screw 20 engages with the nut 21. The screw and the nut may be made of the same material as the ring body 2 or chosen from the same group of materials. The nut may additionally comprise a precious, fine or ornamental stone.
[0049] The outer shell 10 is a single piece. The outer shell 10 covers the light 5 on the outer side, in other words opposite the bore 3. The outer shell 10 may also partially cover the branches 8, 9. The outer shell 10 has an arc shape. The outer shell 10 has a thickness of between 1.0 and 3.0 mm.
[0050] The circumferential free ends 30 of the outer shell 10 come into contact with the substantially radial surfaces 7. The circumferential free ends 30 of the outer shell 10 may be provided with protrusions to project into the concavities 17. The outer shell 10 has a free outer surface 31 for artistic design or to support another member. The outer shell 10 has an inner surface 32 delimiting the housing 12. The inner surface may be formed as a hollow relative to a cylinder forming a geometric envelope of the outer shell 10 to increase the volume of the housing 12. Two ribs 33 may be formed at the edge of said hollow. The ribs may be in contact with said step of the branches 8, 9. .
[0051] A through hole 34, see [Fig.6], is provided in the outer shell 10. Alternatively, the hole is blind and threaded opening onto the inner surface 32 for engagement with the screw 20. The hole 34 is radial. The hole 34 is arranged in the center of the outer shell 10. On the outside, the hole 34 may have a counterbore 44.
[0052] The outer shell 10 is made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stone, leather.
[0053] The inner shell 11 is here made in two parts, each being in one piece. The two parts are symmetrical with respect to a plane passing through the axis in the embodiment shown. Alternatively, the inner shell 11 is in one piece. The inner shell 11 covers the light 5 on the inner side, in other words on the side of the bore 3. The inner shell 11 is inserted between the branches 8, 9. The inner shell 11 has a thickness of between 1.0 and 2.0 mm.
[0054] The inner shell 11 has an arc shape. The circumferential free ends 30 of the inner shell 11 come into contact with the edge of the lumen 5. The inner shell 11 has an outer surface 35 delimiting the housing 12. The outer surface 35 may be substantially smooth. The outer surface 35 may be straight in section along a plane passing through the axis. The outer surface 35 is distant from the inner surface 32 at least in part. The inner shell 11 has an inner surface 36 flush with the bore 3 of the ring body 2. The inner shell 11 has edges in contact with the inner edges of the lumen 5. The inner shell 11 is longer, along the longitudinal axis, than the opening of the lumen 5 and occupies a larger angular sector. Thus, the internal shell 11 rests in the assembled state, on the edge of the light 5, in particular on the majority of the edge, preferably on the entire edge except, where appropriate, occasionally. The mounting of the internal shell 11 on the ring body 2 is carried out from the outside, in particular according to a radial translation.
[0055] Once mounted on the ring body 2, the outer surface 35 is flush with the concavities 17, see [Fig.4]. The inner surface 32 is flush with the bore 3, see [Fig.7]. The branches 8, 9 protrude axially from the inner shell 11, see figures 4 and 5.
[0056] The internal shell 11 is made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stone, leather.
[0057] In the embodiment shown, the ring body 2 comprises a spacer 40. The spacer 40 is oriented longitudinally. The spacer 40 is parallel to the axis. The spacer 40 connects the branch 8 and the branch 9. The spacer 40 is mounted substantially in the middle of the slot 5. The spacer 40 is arranged at the top of the ring body 2. The spacer 40 is flush with the bore 3, see [Fig. 2]. The spacer 40 has a rectangular section with a bulge 41 in the middle of said spacer 40. The bulge 41 is crossed by a hole 42. The screw 20 is inserted into the hole 42, see [Fig. 2], for fixing the members of the piece of jewelry 1. The bulge 41 extends in width relative to the spacer 40, or in the circumferential direction relative to the ring body 2. The bulge 41 is flush with the bore 3, see [Fig. 2]. The bulge 41 is slightly radially projecting relative to the branches 8, 9, see [Fig.2] and slightly radially hollow relative to the outer surface 35 of the inner shell 11. .
[0058] In another embodiment, the ring body 2 is devoid of a spacer. The inner shell is a single piece. The screw then tightens the outer shell and the inner shell, the inner shell being mounted from the inside. The screw can also engage in the ring body, for example in one of the arms 8, 9 or in both arms 8, 9.
[0059] The tag 13 has a rectangular shape with rounded corners when laid flat. The electronic chip 14 protrudes from the rest of the tag 13. The inner surface 32 of the outer shell 10 has a corresponding hollow at a distance from the free ends 30 and the ribs 33. The electronic chip 14 is off-centered relative to the entire tag 13. In the center of the tag 13, a through hole is provided for the screw 20. The antenna 15 is wound flat around the electronic chip 14 and around the hole. The tag has a body made of a material that is sufficiently flexible to adapt to the curvature of the housing 12.
[0060] The mounting of the tag 13 is carried out after mounting the internal shell 11. The external shell 10 is then mounted to enclose the tag 13 in the housing 12. The mounting is carried out at room temperature. Before mounting, the ring body may be subjected to steps at high temperature, for example by welding.
[0061] The screw 20 passes between the two parts of the inner shell 11. The screw 20 passes through the bulge 41, the tag 13 and the outer shell 10. The screw 20, if necessary with the nut 21, holds and tightens the outer shell 10 against the ring body 2. The tolerances are chosen so that the internal shell 11 is also firmly held. The tag 13 is protected.
[0062] The outer 10 and inner 11 shells give the tag 13 its arched shape. Preferably, the outer shell 10 is opaque. The outer shell 10 consists of a precious, fine or ornamental stone. Said stone is chosen from: diamond, ruby, sapphire, beryl (in particular emerald, aquamarine, heliodor or morganite), tourmaline (in particular verdelite, rubellite, paraïba, indicolite or schorl), topaz (in particular topaz, sky blue, Swiss blue topaz, or London blue topaz), garnet (in particular demantoid garnet, almandine garnet, tsavorite garnet, spessartite garnet, hessonite garnet, rhodolite garnet or pyrope garnet), quartz (in particular cat's eye quartz, hawk's eye quartz, tiger's eye quartz, bull's eye quartz, aventurine, amethyst, citrine, prasiolite, rose quartz, blue quartz, red quartz or smoky quartz), chalcedony (in particular agate, chrysoprase, carnelian, onyx, sardonyx or pietersite), jasper (especially red jasper, bloodstone or heliotrope jasper),feldspars (including amazonite, moonstone, labradorite, or sunstone), opal (including fire opal, cacholong, or noble opal), jade (including jadeite jade, nephrite jade, or charoite), peridot, tanzanite, iolite, zircon, cyanite, spinel or rock crystal, kunzite, azurite, sodalite, turquoise, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, malachite, chrysocolla, sugilite, chrysoberyl, andalusite, diopside, pinolite, lapis lazuli, mother-of-pearl, coral, amber, silicified wood.
[0063] The outer shell 10 can also be made of leather.
[0064] Once mounted, the piece of jewelry 1 consists of the ring body 2 in noble material capable of attenuating or forming a screen for the transmission of waves towards the antenna 15 or from the antenna 15 towards the external environment, internal 11 and external 10 shells made of one or more materials allowing waves to pass in the usual frequency ranges, in particular for RFID or NFC. The tag 13 is operational.
[0065] In the embodiment of Figures 9 to 14, the piece of jewelry 1 has a general shape of a closed ring. It may be a bracelet. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a dial 52 or body and a bracelet body 73. The bracelet body 73 may be flexible, for example made of leather, plant material, fabric; or rigid articulated, for example made of metal chosen from: gold, silver, platinum, titanium, palladium, vermeil or steel; or made of semi-rigid material, in particular metallic. The bracelet body 73 is, here, equipped with a clasp 74, for example with a buckle and pin.
[0066] . The dial 52 has an arcuate shape. The dial 52 has an in surface inner surface 53, an outer surface 54 and a light 55 passing through the dial 52 from the inner surface 53 to the outer surface 54. Edges 56 of the dial 52 have a free shape. Here, the edges 56 of the dial 52 are rounded. The dial 52 has, in projection, a rectangular shape with two branches 58, 59 axially spaced along the axis of the piece of jewelry 1, the two branches 58, 59 being connected to each other. The two branches 58, 59 are longitudinal. The two branches 58, 59 are connected by transverse branches 60, 61. The transverse branches 60, 61 are, here, straight. The transverse branches 60, 61 are profiled. The transverse branches 60, 61 connect the ends of the branches 58, 59.
[0067] The dial 52 is here symmetrical with respect to a plane normal to the axis of the piece of jewelry 1. The two axially spaced branches 58, 59 delimit the light 55. Each branch 58, 59 has an arc shape. In cross section, the branch 58, 59 has a rounded section towards the edge 56 and towards the inner surface 53. Opposite the inner surface 53, the section of the branch 58, 59 is, here, straight, in particular parallel to the axis of the inner surface 53. Towards the light 55, the section of the branch 58, 59 is straight, for example oriented radially. A step may be provided to facilitate the positioning and holding of other members below. The step is provided on the edge of the light 55 opposite the inner surface 53 and the edge 56, continuously or discontinuously, for example on the branches 58, 59.
[0068] The branches 58, 59 have a substantially constant thickness. The branches 58, 59 form a first dial portion 52 and are connected by a second dial portion 52. The second dial portion 52 comprises two crosspieces symmetrical with respect to a median plane. A substantially radial surface 57 is thus formed between the first portion and the second portion on each side of the dial 52.
[0069] The dial 52 may be made of a material that obstructs the transmission of radio waves. The dial 52 is made of a material chosen from: gold, silver, platinum, palladium, vermeil, titanium or steel.
[0070] The piece of jewelry 1 comprises an outer shell 10 forming a portion of the outer surface 54 of the piece of jewelry 1 and in contact with the dial 52. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises an inner shell 11 forming a portion of the inner surface 53 and in contact with the dial 52. A housing 12 closed in the mounted state is arranged between the outer shell 10 and the inner shell 11 substantially in line with or in the light 55. The housing 12 is in an arc of a circle. The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a flexible tag 13 arranged in the housing 12. The tag 13 comprises an electronic chip 14 and an antenna 15 arranged around the electronic chip 14.
[0071] The piece of jewelry 1 comprises a screw 20 holding together the outer shell 10 and the inner shell 11. In the embodiment shown, a nut 21 is additionally provided forming a bolt with the screw 20. The screw 20 has a thin head. The screw 20 is brought in from the inside of the ring body 2. The nut 21 is brought in from the outside. The screw 20 engages with the nut 21. The screw and the nut may be made of the same material as the dial 52 or chosen from the same group of materials. The nut may also include a precious, fine or ornamental stone.
[0072] The outer shell 10 is a single piece. The outer shell 10 covers the light 55 on the outer side, in other words opposite the inner surface 53. The outer shell 10 may also partially cover the branches 58, 59. The outer shell 10 has an arc shape. The outer shell 10 has a thickness of between 1.0 and 3.0 mm.
[0073] The circumferential free ends 30 of the outer shell 10 come into contact with the substantially radial surfaces 57. The circumferential free ends 30 of the outer shell 10 may be provided with straight edges to cooperate with the step. The outer shell 10 has a free outer surface 31 for an artistic design or to support another member. The ribs may be in contact with said step of the branches 58, 59.
[0074] A through hole 34, see [Fig.6], is provided in the outer shell 10. Alternatively, the hole is blind and threaded opening onto the inner surface 32 for engagement with the screw 20. The hole 34 is radial. The hole 34 is arranged in the center of the outer shell 10. On the outside, the hole 34 may have a counterbore 44.
[0075] The outer shell 10 is made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stones, leather.
[0076] The inner shell 11 is here made in two parts, each being a single piece. The two parts are symmetrical with respect to a plane passing through the axis in the embodiment shown. Alternatively, the inner shell 11 is a single piece. The inner shell 11 covers the light 5 on the inner side, in other words on the side of the inner surface 53. The inner shell 11 is inserted between the branches 58, 59. The inner shell 11 has a thickness of between 1.0 and 2.0 mm.
[0077] The inner shell 11 has an arc shape. The circumferential free ends 30 of the inner shell 11 come into contact with the edge of the light 55. The inner shell 11 has an outer surface 35 delimiting the housing 12. The outer surface 35 may be substantially smooth. The outer surface 35 may be straight in section along a plane passing through the axis. The outer surface 35 is distant from the inner surface 32 at least in part. The inner shell 11 has an inner surface 36 flush with the inner surface 53 of the dial 52. The inner shell 11 has edges in contact with the inner edges of the light 55. The inner shell 11 is longer, along the longitudinal axis, than the opening of the light 55 and occupies a larger angular sector. Thus, the internal shell 11 rests in the mounted state, on the edge of the light 55, in particular on the majority of the edge, preferably on the entire edge except, where appropriate, in a punctual manner. The mounting of the internal shell 11 on the dial 52 is carried out from the outside, in particular according to a radial translation.
[0078] Once mounted on the dial 52, the outer surface 35 is flush with the step, see [Fig.12]. The inner surface 32 is flush with the inner surface 53, see figures 12 & 13. The branches 58, 59 protrude axially from the inner shell 11, see figures 9 and 10.
[0079] The internal shell 11 is made of a material chosen from: precious stone, fine stone, ornamental stone, leather.
[0080] In the embodiment shown, the dial 52 comprises a spacer 40. The spacer 40 is oriented longitudinally. The spacer 40 is parallel to the axis. The spacer 40 connects the branch 58 and the branch 59. The spacer 40 is mounted substantially in the middle of the slot 55. The spacer 40 is arranged at the top of the dial 52. The spacer 40 is flush with the inner surface 53, see [Fig. 12]. The spacer 40 has a rectangular section with a bulge 41 in the middle of said spacer 40. The bulge 41 is crossed by a hole 42. The screw 20 is inserted into the hole 42, see figures 10 and 11, for fixing the members of the piece of jewelry 1. The bulge 41 extends in width relative to the spacer 40, i.e. in the circumferential direction relative to the dial 52. The bulge 41 is flush with the inner surface 53, see [Fig. 11]. The bulge 41 is flush with an outer surface of the branches 58, 59, see [Fig. 10].
[0081] The tag 13 is similar to the tag of the previous embodiment with less curvature. The tag 13 has a body made of material that is sufficiently flexible to adapt to the curvature of the housing 12.
[0082] The mounting of the tag 13 is carried out after mounting the internal shell 11. The external shell 10 is then mounted to enclose the tag 13 in the housing 12. The mounting is carried out at room temperature. Before mounting, the dial may be subject to steps at high temperature, for example by welding.
[0083] The screw 20 passes between the two parts of the inner shell 11. The screw 20 passes through the bulge 41, the tag 13 and the outer shell 10. The screw 20, if necessary with the nut 21, holds and tightens the outer shell 10 against the dial 52. The tolerances are chosen so that the inner shell 11 is also firmly held. The tag 13 is protected. The screw and the nut may be made of the same material as the ring body 2 or chosen from the same group of materials. The nut may additionally include a stone.
[0084] The outer 10 and inner 11 shells give the tag 13 its rounded shape.
[0085] Preferably, the outer shell 10 is opaque.
[0086] Once mounted, the piece of jewelry 1 is composed of the dial 52 made of a noble material capable of attenuating or forming a screen for the transmission of waves to the antenna 15 or from the antenna 15 to the external environment, the internal 11 and external 10 shells made of one or more materials allowing waves to pass in the usual frequency ranges, in particular for RFID or NFC. The tag 13 is operational.
[0087] In the embodiment of Figures 15 to 20, the piece of jewelry 1 has a generally flat shape. It may be a pendant. The piece of jewelry 1 is of a structure similar to that of the previous embodiment. The body 52 is flat. A ring 80 is attached to one end of the dial 52
[0088] The inner surface 53 and outer surface 54 are parallel. The housing 12 is in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped of small thickness. The tag 13 is flat.
