Abstract

The invention provides a method for automatic switching among different network domains of a handhold communication device, which is suitable for a double-mode handhold communication device, wherein first identity identification data used for logining in a first network domain and second identity identification data used for logining in a second network domain are stored in the handhold communication device. A user firstly starts call transfer service between the first network domain the second network domain, and then starts the handhold communication device so as to utilize the first identity identification data to login in the first network domain. If the first network domain cannot be connected, the second identity identification data is utilized to login in the second network domain; and if the second network domain cannot be logined in, the user logins in the first network domain again. Through the method, the handhold communication device can be continuously switched between two network domains to keep a networking action. Further, no matter under which network domain, the handhold communication device can both receive calls or briefings from the other network domain through the call transfer service to avoid losing important phone calls or materials.
