Abstract

The invention provides an electronic device with the sleep function, which is used for discovering the abnormal state of a power supply battery thereof and wakening or restarting a central processor of the electronic device in time. The electronic device comprises the central processor and a monitoring unit, wherein the monitoring unit comprises a detection module, a comparison determining module, a storage module and a signal generating module; the detection module is used for detecting related parameters of the power supply battery of the electronic device; the comparison determining moduleis used for comparing the related parameters with a preset parameter interval and determining whether the related parameters belong to the preset parameter interval or not; the storage module is usedfor prestoring the preset parameter interval; and the signal generating module is used for generating a control signal when the related parameters do not belong to the preset parameter interval through judgment so as to waken or restart the central processor to execute the battery abnormal state protecting function.
