Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a wireless communication method and a distributed base station system, which relates to the field of communication and can realize multi-communication-system support functions of BBUs (baseband units) on the premise of keeping existing networking modes unchanged. A data transmission method based on CPRI (common public radio interface) includes: transmitting the BBU of the second communication system to second control data of at least one radio remote unit (RRU) to convert similar-CPRI type combined data and transmitting the combined data to the BBU of the first communication system through similar-CPRI type channels; restoring the combined data received by the BBU of the first communication system to be second control data, transmitting the second control data and the first control data to at least one RRU through CPRI channels so that at least one RRU supports data uploading and/or downloading of the first communication system and the second communication system.
