Abstract

The invention provides a content display system for a mobile terminal. The content display system comprises a desktop starter, a wallpaper unit and a content display unit, wherein the desktop starter is used for receiving an instruction of a user, and transferring the instruction to the content display unit through the wallpaper unit; if the instruction is a preset instruction, the content display unit is used for displaying corresponding content on the screen of the mobile terminal, and the displaying is irrelevant to the current desktop of the mobile terminal. The invention further provides a content display method for the mobile terminal. By virtue of the content display method and system, the display interface for the content can be greatly expanded; a user can transfer out or finish the display interface at any time, so that the content display efficiency and convenience are improved.
