Abstract

The present invention discloses a computing device for recognizing a gesture made by a tracked object in a video stream, the computing device comprising a memory and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to: determine a movement vector of the tracked object ; comparing the motion vector with a reference library of gestures; and thereby identifying a gesture that matches the motion vector; wherein the motion vector includes at least a portion of the motion having a direction identified by a relative angle, and wherein the comparison is based on the relative angle angular.
