The method comprises the following steps: receiving an emergency rescue trigger command by the wearable equipment; making a call to at least one of preset telephone numbers, wherein the last telephone number of the preset telephone numbers is the telephone number of an emergency center; dialing a next preset telephone number when the dialed telephone number is not answered or unavailable, and circularly making calls to the preset telephone numbers for specified times when all the preset telephone numbers are not answered or unavailable; and when call making ends, transmitting current position information to a server in order that a client inquires the position information of the wearable equipment. According to the method and device, an emergency telephone number is set in the preset telephone numbers, so that a user of the wearable equipment can be rescued as soon as possible.
